USSS was notified about an individual on the AGR roof approximately two minutes before [Thomas M.] Crooks fired from AGR roof.  Three minutes before shots were fired, a local law enforcement officer sent out a radio alert that there was an individual on the AGR roof. This information was passed to the USSS Security Room approximately two minutes before Crooks fired. Approximately 22 seconds before Crooks fired, a local officer sent out a radio alert that the individual on the AGR roof was armed, but that was [allegedly] not relayed to key USSS personnel that the Committee spoke with.

Shortly before shots were fired, a USSS counter sniper saw local law enforcement running toward the AGR building with their guns drawn, but he did not alert former President Trump’s protective detail to remove him from the stage. The USSS counter sniper told the Committee … the thought to notify someone to get Trump off the stage ‘“did not cross [his] mind.”

USSS counter snipers — including the one who shot and killed Crooks — were sent to the rally in response to ‘credible intelligence’ of a threat. Milley's interviews were among several key to transcripts obtained by House Administration Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., and shared with Just the News.

Antimony’s Critical Role

Nitrocellulose and Ammunition Production

Nitrocellulose, another critical component in ammunition manufacturing, has also become a point of geopolitical tension. Europe, too, has felt the pinch, as European countries rely on China for the bulk of their nitrocellulose imports to supply Ukraine with ammunition during its ongoing conflict with Russia.

In May 2024, a major nitrocellulose plant in Hubei province, China, exploded, further tightening the supply chain. Although nitrocellulose is relatively simple to produce, its hazardous nature means that only a few companies are qualified to handle its production. With China now restricting its exports of nitrocellulose, European and U.S. ammunition manufacturers are scrambling to find alternative sources.

Over the weekend had a chance to try this out, the Walther Magnum Pistol

It's a big pistol, until you pick it up and look at the muzzle you'd think it was a .45.  The one available had a Holosun red dot.  Only had ten rounds to try, so ran the target to ten yards and found

And .22 Mag, in this length barrel, roared and gave a big muzzle flash with almost no recoil.

First impression: if I had the money to buy a new pistol just for fun, this would likely be it.  Time will tell how it stands up, but with aluminum instead of zinc for the slide it'll probably do well.

Last Friday, Josh Christenson at the New York Post reported on a memo showing the State Department strategizing in response to reporting by me and the Washington Examiner’s Gabe Kaminsky. Later, Gabe tweeted that a Biden administration official briefed congressional staff that I wasn’t to be trusted because of “unsavory” behavior in younger years in Russia. That second news turned out not as bad as it sounded, but it made me think. Racket readers know I’ve dealt with kerfuffles, from an IRS visit to a threatening member of congress, and there’ve been other things left unmentioned. I wouldn’t call any of it serious, but most everyone I know in media is dealing with something now.

Six weeks before the lancing of the boil that is the Trump-Harris election, officialdom has never been antsier. There’s desperation up there and the more bureaucratically thuggish tactics employed by agencies like GEC have not scratched their itch of uncertainty. Arbitrary removals of content aren’t cutting it. New overreaches are coming, but what? Our goons aren’t Russian enough to smash people with hammers, but as the earlier story today shows, they aren’t sane either. I’m not intimidated, but the days of smooth sailing might be over.

At the sentencing hearings in Sheffield Crown Court last week, the younger of the two victims delivered an impact statement from the witness box, addressing the defendants.

“You ruined my life but I won’t let you ruin my future,” the woman, who can’t be named for legal reasons, said. “I’m a fighter and a survivor. I’m thriving and fighting. You can’t and won’t ever take anything from me again. 22 years ago, you first started grooming me, and 10 years ago I started my justice fight. You stole my childhood, now I’m taking your freedom, I am your karma,” she concluded.

However, GB News discovered that the speech was heavily censored by the judge, with multiple sections erased due to restrictions they imposed. “I’d like to request that after sentencing and upon Rudy and Showabe’s release, that they should be deported back to Pakistan as this is where they originated from and came here to exploit children,” the original uncensored conclusion of the statement read.

“Rudy” is Mohammed Amar, who was convicted of two counts of indecent assault, and sentenced to 14 years. “Showabe” is Mohammed Siyab, who was convicted of two counts of rape, one count of trafficking, and one count of sexual intercourse with a girl under 13, and sentenced to 25 years in jail. Siyab’s English language skills were so poor that despite living in the UK for decades, he required an Urdu interpreter in court.

This is a catastrophic level of error. That seemingly unreliable or worst-case models have been used to wreck economies and institutionalise an authoritarian era so grave that one cannot leave one’s own house without good reason is a matter of the utmost public interest.

And Ferguson has form when it comes to the worst-case ideology that is so obsessed with being risk-averse that it causes whole new problems of its own. In 2005 he said up to 200million people could die from bird flu – the final global death toll between the years 2003 and 2009 was 292. In 2009, the UK government based its ‘reasonable worst-case scenario’ for the impact of swine flu in Britain on Ferguson’s models, saying around 65,000 people could die. In the end just 457 people died. In 2001 Imperial modelling on foot-and-mouth disease shaped government policy, which was to cull six million sheep, cattle and pigs. Later, an expert in veterinary epidemiology said that modelling was ‘seriously flawed’.
Over and over he's been wrong, and the Brit government, and others, are still employing this asshat.  Because a fellow 'Elite' cannot be dumped just for being catastrophically wrong, it seems.

The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday officially designated the Electoral College vote count and certification as a special national security event, putting the U.S. Secret Service in charge of security surrounding the process.

If you're thinking what I'm thinking, in the aftermath of the July assassination attempt against Donald Trump, the Secret Service — "one of the elite law enforcement agencies in the world" — presently has a self-inflicted, less-than-stellar image.

So, what's the deal? Why this, now?
I'm sure people have a lot of ideas about that.  Mayorkas has lied under oath to Congress so many times they may have lost count(with nothing ever done about it), the USSS has demonstrated a less-than-stellar quality of work and a head who's lied a few times under oath himself, their performance with the two assassination attempts, and now this?

“FBI Deputy Director [Paul] Abbate said they’ve done over 1,000 interviews. We’ve done 12,” Johnson said. “The Secret Service hasn’t let us to talk to them. The FBI hasn’t given us one 302 [interview report]. When we get documents, they’re often the day before, and heavily redacted.”

A farmer has been ordered to pay out £3,500 in costs after a neighbour secretly filmed him riding a tractor with his grandchild in the cab. Video footage taken by a neighbour captured the moment Howard Walters, 78, allowed one of his grandchildren to illegally ride in his tractor.

He was spotted with the pre-teen child in the tractor cab in January 2021 as he fed cattle on his farm in South Wales.

Mr Walters had already been issued with a prohibition notice by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) after admitting to inspectors he allowed his grandchildren to ride in his tractor.

However, just two months later, he was filmed by his neighbour breaching the terms of that notice.

A HSE inspector who investigated Mr Walters said the law was 'very clear', as children under 13 are specifically prohibited from driving or riding on or in any agricultural machine, including the tractor cab.

This is a clear violation of the New York State Judicial Code of Conduct which dictates that a judge must recuse from a case where a relative up to and including the sixth degree has a financial interest in the outcome of the case. Indeed, Britain’s increasingly illiberal and authoritarian political class, along with their minions in the media and academia, highly credentialled and privileged men and women who sacralise the European Union, are unable to define a woman, despise the white working class and feel at home in Islington, Hampstead, Tuscany, Provence or Cape Cod, have been whittling away at the time-honoured rights of free speech, expression and thought for at least 30 years. Starmer’s draconian policies represent a brutal escalation of the war rather than its beginning.
