It's February, and the weather goes back & forth;

which makes it nice to have some data to review if it's a not-so-nice evening.

And now, back to things more interesting than politics; more specifically

what I get to play with a bit.
No, it's not mine.  Dammit.  But I get to put some rounds through it.  We'll see how that goes.

The Professional Journalists of CNN

Call Ted Cruz names for 'not showing up to talk'.  Except he DID, and they didn't air it.

Not exactly the collusion with Russia story the Evil Party's been pushing, is it?
The Russian operatives sought to “promote discord in the United States and undermine confidence in democracy” by organizing the protests, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said Friday.

Mueller’s indictment confirms what legal representatives for both Facebook and Twitter told a Senate panel on Oct. 31 last year: that Russian operatives sought to harm America by undermining public confidence in President Trump’s election.

Georgia, what the hell has happened to you

that this hasn't already been dealt with?

The caring, compassionate left in full display again

Parent of a murder victim happens to have a Trump shirt on.  And gets blamed for the murder, along with the NRA, the Stupid Party in general, etc.

After the past few days of 'liberals' doing this, they can one and all go to hell.  And take their 'compassion' and 'caring' with them.

Professional Journalism...

Yell "White supremacist!" and they'll follow you anywhere.

Do ANY of these dickheads remember what being a 'reporter' was?

More on the ethical people at the Do'J'

Bruce Ohr, the Department of Justice official who brought opposition research on President Donald Trump to the FBI, did not disclose that Fusion GPS, which performed that research at the Democratic National Committee’s behest, was paying his wife, and did not obtain a conflict of interest waiver from his superiors at the Justice Department, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation show.
And I'm sure someone at the Do'J' will whine that talking about this is damaging to the good people at the agency.  Just like the asshats at the EffingBI whine about bad morale because people are talking about the crap they've been up to.

Hey, morons, try cleaning house in your own agency, then people won't have to talk about all the criminals, and unethical bastards you're working with.

Few things before I start loading

The school board of Bethel District needs its collective ass kicked.

Ah, the NYeffingTimes: run by asshats.

Rolling Stone settles with some of its victims, but some of the guilty got away with their crap.

More of the wondrous NHS that Obama & Co. want us all under.

What is it with Democrats hanging out with politically-correct racists?

I think that catches all that stuff up, catch you later.

I have a chance to try something out

It requires some .357 Mag ammo, which I'm short on.

To the press!

Nothing but theft under color of law,

and they're willing to say anything to try to prevent their theft being stopped.

And this crap:
Meanwhile, sending the proceeds of forfeiture to the state's General Fund would result in fewer busts of drug and stolen property rings. What incentive would local police and sheriffs have to invest manpower, resources and time in these operations if they don't receive proceeds to cover their costs?

Bastards.  Bastards and thieves.

When you find yourself threatening to find more reasons to put even more citizens in jail in order to protect your revenue stream, it's maybe time to take a step back and think about what you're doing.
Oh, they know what they're doing; and they don't want to be stopped.

Somewhere, ominous music is playing...

When Iceberg A68 calved off from Antarctica’s Larsen C Ice Shelf in July 2017, it exposed an entire underwater ecosystem that had been covered by the Delaware-sized chunk of ice for 120,000 years

Now, a team of scientists is set to travel to the remote Larsen C Ice Shelf in order to explore the 2,246 mysterious square miles that the trillion-ton iceberg left in its wake.

A Dillon story

I've got a Square Deal B press I picked up used, oh, eight or ten years ago.  I've loaded a bleepload of 9mm and .45acp with it since.  And, as you might imagine, it needed some work.

So I e-mailed Dillon and asked about getting it worked on.  "$67.95 to strip, clean, replace anything that needs it, lube, and adjust.  Includes shipping back to you.  You can send payment or we'll call when it's done."  So I packed it up and sent it, asking for the 'call when done'.

Less than three weeks later UPS dropped a box on the porch.  And the thing looks new, and is smoother than when I picked it up.  Charge sheet inside listing everything replaced and the final bill: $0.

'Nice' is understatement.

So, which one is lying this time: Rice or Comey?

We also learn from Grassley and Graham's letter that former FBI director and self-identified moral compass James Comey may have lied to Congress about this meeting with President Obama.
If Rice’s email is accurate, Comey may have seriously misled Congress about his meetings with Obama.
Dated June 8, 2017, Comey’s “Statement for the Record” provided to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, notes, “I have tried to include information that may be relevant to the committee.”
Comey clearly did not find the January 5, 2017 meeting to be particularly relevant.

In other words, on January 5, 2017, an Oval Office meeting occurred between then-FBI director Comey, the soon-to-be-former president of the United States (Obama), his soon-to-be-former Vice-President (Biden), then-National Security Advisor Susan Rice and soon-to-be Acting Attorney General Sally Yates–and Comey apparently viewed this meeting as irrelevant to congressional investigators.
I mean come on, people. This stinks to high hell.
(Yes, I know, it's probably both)

The noise about Flynn lying?  Slight problem with the narrative.

At some point, there's going to be B-52s flying low-earth-orbit missions.  Much like the Army will have a hovertank with a energy-beam main gun, but there'll still be a M2HB in front of the commander's hatch.

Well, that's interesting

Can get to Bookface, so found the ATT page and asked about the web problem.
Quick response, "Please tell us a little more so we can fix this."
Describe the problem, including having tried a different browser.
Usually you'd get a 'We're working on it', this time not a thing.  This doesn't seem good.

Apparently the interwebs spiders are drunk this morning,

as there are holes in the webs.  Something major must be happening somewhere.
