18 minutes for a first interview?

And CNN may not release the whole transcript?  Crap, it must be flat awful, so awful that CNN wants to protect them*.  And reading the bits this post has, I wouldn't doubt it.

They may decide to release the whole thing, we'll see.

*'Them' because, remember, she had to bring her Veep wannabe with her.  Which is... which is better, idiotic or pitiful?

I rarely drink beer, but on occasion one is good,

like with some meals.  Years back a girlfriend in Texas wanted to go to a pub and listen to the band playing that night, and as we sat I picked out a meal of a platter with soda bread*, sliced sausage, and cheese, and she suggested a Honey Brown to wash it down.

Oh, she was right.  That's been a favorite combination for years.

And now, it appears the distributors for this state aren't bringing it in anymore.  Yes, there's Harp, and Guinness(not my favorite, but not bad), but it's just not the same.  Dammit.

*I will state, without equivocation, that I make better soda bread.

More from (formerly Great)Britain, this on their health services

Which, if you behave yourself as they choose, you might eventually get some treatment from.
Coming soon to a hospital near you if the socialists have their way of things.
In the name of ‘anti-racism’, the UK’s Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has quietly abandoned its commitment to provide universal healthcare and is encouraging its members to violate a core principle of medical ethics.

On 6 August, the RCN issued new guidelines granting medical professionals permission to refuse to treat patients whom they perceive to be racist. The new guidelines are a response to the violent riots that engulfed parts of England and Northern Ireland earlier this month. These erupted after the Southport knife attack in late July, in which three young girls were killed at a dance workshop. The guidelines specifically legitimise denying a patient care if that patient exhibits ‘discriminatory behaviour, including racism’.

Hm.  'perceive' and 'discriminatory', there's a couple of holes you could sail a battleship through to find a reason to deny someone treatment.

Assuming some of these idiots haven't already been withholding treatment from 'bad' people and done it, people are going to die because of this.  And it being(fG)Britain, their family won't be able to do a damn thing about it, because it fits the aims of the Two-Tier Prime Minister quite well.

Holy crap... Harris finally agrees to an interview, but

Seriously.  She has to have her Veep candidate along for her first interview?

Let's add a few more in

Project Veritas strikes again

BREAKING: Doctors tells @Project_Veritas undercover that MILLIONS of excess deaths resulted from the FDA’s pandemic-era "horse medicine" tweets against ivermectin.

Now we have the lawyer who defended the FDA in court ADMITTING on undercover video that the FDA abused its authority!

Basically, there is no federal agency that can be trusted.

However much you hate the media, here and in other countries,

it's not enough.

Today was a range day, a shorter one than I'd planned on

I can handle heat fairly well(still) if I drink enough, but the combination of heat and humidity today got downright awful, so I finished up and hour or so sooner than planned.  I did get some good results from loads tested, so that was accomplished.

And I'm still sitting here soaking up liquid and not wanting to do anything.  The mowing will have to wait until tomorrow.

Kim has an opinion on that mass stabbing in Germany,

largely because of the "We can't figure out the motive" and their idiot idea of a 'fix' for this:
“We must do everything to ensure that such things never happen in our country, if possible,” Scholz said of the attack. He predicted a toughening knife laws in particular “and this should and will happen very quickly.”
and
Green Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck also called for a tightening of knife laws, saying there must be “more weapon ban zones and stricter weapon laws.”

“No one has to carry stabbing or cutting weapons in public spaces in Germany,” said the Green politician. “We no longer live in the Middle Ages.”

And, just like the useless bullshit in Britain, this will mean "I don't care if you use it in your work", or "I don't care if the blade is only 3 centimeters long and you use it for opening packages, you are carrying a knife and you're under arrest!"  And we've seen how well that's worked.

I'll give you part of his response to that 'We no longer live in' idiocy:
You stupid shit. You may not be living in the Middle Ages, but these fucking Islamic assholes certainly are.

Thanks to previous German immigration policies (Mutti Merkel, danke ), you’ve imported the Middle Ages into the 21st century.

And they don't have to balls or brains to speak of the actual problem, so they'll play "Let's get rid of these objects and the problem will go away!"  Nope, because the problem isn't knives, the problem is you don't have the guts to admit that letting a bunch of savages who want all Jews dead and everyone else either converted or enslaved/dead was a bad idea.  Assuming you have the working brain cells to actually recognize that that  "Let's be welcoming and let EVERYONE in!" insanity IS the problem.

so 'Muslim Student Association' means

'Make the troublesome Jews shut up.'
A campus that actually had leadership with integrity and some balls would make short work of this, but there's a decided shortage of both on most of them.

And that's not counting the leftist deans and professors and teachers who think this crap is a good idea.

Can you imagine finding this?

The Marshfield Find: Extraordinary, Newly Discovered, Documented Mint Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action .45-90 WCF Rifle Time Capsule with Original Shipping Crate Containing Scabbard and Five Boxes of Ammunition, and Factory Letter

I'd look it all over and then probably have to sit down for a while.
All the information here.

Yesterday was the anniversary of the murder of 13 US troops

and God only knows how many Afghans, because our leadership is shit.
"That is the first lesson here; our self-described "best" that claim to be the ruling class are not our best. They are not good at their jobs. Their ideas are garbage. Their ethics are fetid to the core. Their morality sold for a farthing's worth of power, fame, and influence."
Go read it.

Oh, and never forget that most of our Professional Journalists are just as much shit as our 'leadership'.

My, my, this kind of news I can use

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has decided that ATF's Final Rule determining that most pistols with stabilizing braces are short-barreled rifles is arbitrary and capricious.  The case is Firearms Regulatory Accountability Coalition, Inc. v. Garland ("FRAC"), decided on August 9 and authored by Judge Steven Grasz.
...
ATF provides two of what it calls "Slideshows" of photographs of numerous configurations of braced pistols and found that all would likely be classified as short-barreled rifles, without providing any explanation of why or how its criteria lead to this result. ATF implies that plaintiffs have the burden to prove that the braced pistols are not short-barreled rifles, an impossible task because ATF gives no guidance.  As the court quips, "The ATF's burden-inverting argument makes as much sense as shouldering a rifle by the barrel…."
More goodness at the link.

Looks like the fascists and national socialists are getting pushy

"Telegram abides by EU laws, including the Digital Services Act — its moderation is within industry standards and constantly improving," Telegram said in a statement on the arrest.

"Telegram's CEO Pavel Durov has nothing to hide and travels frequently in Europe," it said. "It is absurd to claim that a platform or its owner are responsible for abuse of that platform."

Durov, who has dual French and United Arab Emirates citizenship, was arrested as part of a preliminary police investigation into allegedly allowing a wide range of crimes due to a lack of moderators on Telegram and a lack of cooperation with police, a third French police source said.

Bold mine.  And anymore that kind of excuse automatically makes me think "So he won't roll over for you?"

This one can go for pissing off Harris, Walz, and Two-Tier and all his minions

 currently ruling (formerly Great)Britain:
And, specifically for the clown ruling (formerly Great)Britain,
