It's officially time for seventh eve stuff,

so let's get to it

Dammit, Bee, you're supposed to be satire!

Chicago. Where some of the cops are just as useless as the prosecutors

You really need to read all of this.  One excerpt:
Graham remained on the loose for months. Between the time officers released him minutes after the attack and the filing of murder charges in October, he had been arrested six more times, according to court records:
On July 9, for trespassing at a River North church. The case was dropped on August 22.
On August 4, for throwing a bottle of gin through an Evanston store window. The case was dropped on September 5.
On August 16, he was charged with pushing a 14-year-old girl in the chest, causing her to fall over a bench. Evanston police said he pulled the girl by her ankle, causing her to suffer scrapes to her arms and legs. He received a sentence of 18 days time served on September 5.
He was charged with four felony counts of aggravated battery to police officers on September 22. Evanston police accused him of biting one officer on the hand, biting another officer on the thigh, kicking a third officer in the groin, and hitting a fourth officer.

"Why won't you trust us? Believe us?"

Because you're lying bastards.
President Joe Biden's former Covid advisor has admitted the pandemic may have been borne out of a laboratory leak in Wuhan. Speaking at a New York City health conference this week, Dr Raj Panjabi, former Special Assistant to the President, described the lab leak theory as 'plausible' and called on Governments around the world to 'do more to keep labs safe.’
...
Dr Panjabi is just the latest high ranking official to give credence to the lab leak theory, after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former top health official Dr Robert Kadlec and former national security director John Ratcliffe all came out in support of it.

Speaking to Sky News last month, Dr Ratcliffe said: ‘It’s more than just a possibility, it’s certainly a probability and it’s probably a certainty.’ Dr Rober Kadlec, who initially worked with Dr Fauci to hush the lab leak theory, has suggested in a report that Covid likely escaped during the work of scientist Dr Zhou Yusen at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).

Bold mine.

Thanks to the whistleblowers,

who the Do'J' and IRS screwed with- illegally- to try to shut them down, it appears Hunter Biden faces real charges.

Which, if said agencies weren't corrupt as hell, he would've faced- along with all the others- years ago.

Screw the news, I'm tired of the BS

So let us now see to more pleasant subjects

Reloading bench plans,

looks like a pretty good design, and easy to modify

John Effing Kerry demands lot of people freeze or broil to death

in the name of "I don't like coal."

Not to mention all the countries that depend on that for electricity being screwed.  But it won't affect him and his fellow 'elites', so...

CAIR, whom the Democrats have been kissing the ass of, admitted they like lots of dead Jews, and the Biden clowns have realized that doesn't go over with with many people.  So they're, officially at least, cutting ties.  Wonder how long that'll last?

The International Red Cross is shit.  Run by shitheads.
The parents of an Israeli being held hostage by Hamas were reprimanded by representatives of the Red Cross after they tried to ask the Red Cross to transfer prescription medication to their child. The Red Cross told them they needed to "think about the Palestinian side. It's hard for the Palestinians, they're being bombed." The Red Cross did not agree to transfer the medication to the Israeli hostage!

More on the pieces of shit the UN and leftists are so worried about saving.
Personally, let the Israelis finish Hamas in an example of "We're tired of your shit.  Start it again and we kill you all."

The school admins and every teacher involved in this need to be fired.  And probably made to register as sex offenders.

Little bit late, guys

Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel’s National Security Minister, told the Times his office was approving 3,000 firearm permit applications per day, as opposed to around 100 per day before the terrorist attacks.

“When the war started, we knew that we were right when we said that every person that has a weapon can save a life,” Ben Gvir said, according to the Times. “We need to enable as many people as possible to carry a weapon.”

Would've been nice if they'd realized that BEFORE the effing massacre, wouldn't it?

If you want to see a true demonstration of absolute stupidity with tools,

go here.  Though 'stupidity' doesn't seem to really cover it.  Yes, the tool is a firearm.

Hey, sounds like something I said a few days ago

Hamas broke a humanitarian truce last week in order to avoid releasing Israeli women who endured rape or other atrocities in its custody, Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s spokesman has suggested.
They don't mention the other slight problem of 'how many of the hostages have been murdered while held by Hamas?  Y'know, like that family of four?"

Being the chickenshit politicians they are,
Miller, the State Department spokesman, backpedaled from his initial remarks about the collapse of the truce while nonetheless implying that the testimony of those hostages would add to the account of the atrocities.
The leftists and national socialists screamed, so they throw that out as a bone.  Hell, Biden spent a while apologizing to them because he had the nerve to say that the casualty counts from Hamas might not be accurate.

By they way, I've lost count: how many US hostages does Hamas still(suppposedly) hold?  And has our President thought of telling them "Release all our hostages or we'll help the Israelis kill you all"?
I know, that'll be the day from these assholes.

'Higher' Education is being run in large part by bigoted chickenshits

Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate [your university’s] code of conduct or rules regarding bullying or harassment?

The answers they gave reflect the profound moral bankruptcy of Presidents Gay, Magill and Kornbluth.

Representative @EliseStefanik was so shocked with the answers that she asked each of them the same question over and over again, and they gave the same answers over and over again.

In short, they said:
It ‘depends on the context’ and ‘whether the speech turns into conduct,’ that is, actually killing Jews.

This could be the most extraordinary testimony ever elicited in the Congress, certainly on the topic of genocide, which to remind us all is:

“the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group”

The presidents’ answers reflect the profound educational, moral and ethical failures that pervade certain of our elite educational institutions due in large part to their failed leadership.

A couple of things to point to this morning

They need to fire a bunch of indoctrinators, and hire actual teachers.
Let’s dump the curriculum and teach Palestinian propaganda instead, said a group of Oakland (CA) teachers. They proposed an all-day “teach in.” Um, no, said district officials.

One early-elementary lesson proposed for the “teach in” encourages children to identify what they “will chant at a Palestine protest,” reports Jill Tucker in the San Francisco Chronicle. In an alphabet book titled P is for Palestine, the letter “I” represented “intifada,” which refers to armed uprisings by Palestinians against Israeli control of disputed land. (The book says the word means”rising up for what is right!”)

Note this:
“Only one third of students met or exceeded state English standards in Oakland Unified in 2023. One quarter met or exceeded math standards. Enrollment is declining.”
I repeat: fire all of them, and hire teachers.

Head of the climate summit says "I want to end fossil fuels, but  “please, help me, show me a roadmap for a phase-out of fossil fuels that will allow for sustainable socio-economic development, unless you want to take the world back into caves.”
And the climatistas melt down.  Again.

Germany is screwed.
And I'll bet the 'women's movement' types will make excuses for the rapists, just like they do for Hamas.

And I have to go do stuff now.

That's a couple of nice, stupid things the Sheriff came up with

We were told that Sheriff Livingston won’t approve applicants if they attempt to qualify with a handgun that has a laser, red dot sight, or a pistol light attached (night sights are allowed), and found the page at the bottom of this post on the county’s web site. We wrote to ask the Sheriff for his rationale for these restrictions and this week we heard back from him.

The reasons for excluding these accessories are (I summarize here, these aren’t quotes) . . .

1. Permittees could use inferior accessories that aren’t subject to vetting and could hinder the performance of the firearm.

2. Without proper training, the attachments can make a smooth weapon draw difficult, endangering the individual in a deadly force encounter.

3. The attachments make carried handguns harder to conceal.

But wait! There's MORE!
The Contra Costa department also doesn’t allow single-action firearms to be carried, such as the very popular 1911 platform and its smaller variants.
Holy crap.

I'll bet if you say anything about, say, a red dot helping your eyes, he'll disqualify you for inadequate vision.

Damn, what bullshit.

Well, they're part of the UN, so

crap like this is not much of a surprise.
A teacher with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reportedly held an Israeli hostage taken captive by Hamas on Oct. 7 in an attic.

The teacher, a father of 10 children, kept the hostage for almost 50 days, barely provided food, and neglected the hostage's medical needs, Israeli Channel 13's Almog Boker reported Wednesday. A Gazan doctor also held another hostage, according to Boker.

A spokeswoman for the UNRWA acknowledged the allegations but declined to comment.

There have been multiple reports of Gazan civilian involvement in Hamas's military operations.

Well, that's one way to do it

Well, one nice thing

Last night next door neighbor knocked on the door, in tears, "Have you seen my cat?"  Little bugger had disappeared, and she was really upset.

Saw her this morning, they'd found it about ten minutes before I saw them outside.

That was nice to hear.
