Let us now adjourn to

This evening's collection

"But- we used one of the magic words, you're supposed to

get all defensive or beg forgiveness, not ask us questions!"

The look on her face is priceless.

Another civil rights victory over the Fascist Leaders of Californicated

...Because millions of removable firearm magazines able to hold between 10 and 30 rounds are commonly owned by law-abiding citizens for lawful purposes, including self-defense, and because they are reasonably related to service in the militia, the magazines are presumptively within the protection of the Second Amendment. There is no American history or tradition of regulating firearms based on the number of rounds they can shoot, or of regulating the amount of ammunition that can be kept and carried. The best analogue that can be drawn from historical gun laws are the early militia equipment regulations that required all able-bodied citizens to equip themselves with a gun and a minimum amount of ammunition in excess of 10 rounds.
Take due note of that 'MINIMUM'.
Oh yeah.

Link to the decision here.

Good dogs

A 2-year-old girl who walked away from her home in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula alongside two family dogs was found in the woods hours later sleeping on the smaller dog like a furry pillow, state police said.

“She laid down and used one of the dogs as a pillow, and the other dog laid right next to her and kept her safe,” Lt. Mark Giannunzio said Thursday. “It’s a really remarkable story.”

Considering a lot of dogs, I wouldn't say 'remarkable', but definitely a good one.

This is not good for BMW

BMW Motorrad North America has apparently issued a stop-sale order and asked its United States-based dealers to stop selling all new, internal combustion-powered BMW motorcycles. At least two dealers have confirmed that during a recent Skype call, BMW Motorrad North America put the stop-sale order in place. It’s not yet clear whether the stop-sale order also affects Canada.

According to one dealer, BMW North America said that the issue stems from an emissions canister component provided by a non-BMW supplier. However, a different dealer couldn’t confirm that the stop-sale order resulted from a supplier-provided part and suggested that it could be something entirely different.

This kind of crap will continue until that 'lying under oath' thing is prosecuted

and a bunch of people wind up either behind bars or getting huge fines.  Preferably both.
The FBI had so many paid informants at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, that it lost track of the number and had to perform a later audit to determine exactly how many “Confidential Human Sources” run by different FBI field offices were present that day, a former assistant director of the bureau has told lawmakers.

At least one informant was communicating with his FBI handler as he entered the Capitol, according to Steven D’Antuono, formerly in charge of the bureau’s Washington field office.

So, they didn't- maybe still don't- know how many people they had there, and don't know or won't admit what all they were doing, but we can TOTALLY trust them that it was all above-board and by the rules, right?

I hope she's awarded both ears, the tail, and everything else they have

An unnamed woman who once identified as transgender filed suit last week against the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Nebraska Medicine, and three doctors for “negligence and lack of informed consent” after she had a “gender-affirming” double mastectomy at the age of 16 in 2018.

Now a young woman, the plaintiff will never nurse her children, assuming she is still able to bear them after four years of testosterone treatments that “caused significant mental and physical harm.”

And here's hoping for even more.

One more imposition of the Dumbass Tax in Yellowstone,

delivered by the usual agent.
How anyone can look at a bison up close and not respect it, I do not understand.

Why anyone trusts these people about anything anymore, I do not know.

A former FBI supervisor has informed Congress that the bureau’s Washington field office had a second “politically connected” informant giving them information for the investigation into the Biden crime family but was instructed to “shut down the source” before the 2020 presidential election.

“Retired Special Agent Timothy Thibault, the former No. 2 supervisor in the FBI’s Washington field office, told the House Judiciary Committee last week in a transcribed interview he was somewhat taken aback when he received the request from the lead agent in the Hunter Biden tax case in October 2020 to shut down the confidential human source (CHS),” reports Just the News.

Remember a couple of years ago when the EffingBI was complaining that when their agents testified in court they weren't automatically believed anymore?  After all the crap that's come out about the FBI laboratory crap, and then the political stuff, they should be amazed they're believed about anything, including that they're actually a Federal agent.

No joy on a barrel as yet

Only thing close is a blank chambered for .50-90.  The chamber end could be cut back a little, but the amount of lathe time it'd take to profile it makes it a no-go.

One of these days.  And if not I'll decide on a caliber I can find one for.

"Bad guys make the best backstops" is one of the best Update: link fixed

things I've heard in a while, and there's more.

One last thing for this morning: Remember Strzok, the smirking asshole

of the EffingBI?  He thinks there needs to be a special unit to protect the Very Special Agents from citizens who won't kiss their ass.

It's both cute and depressing that idiots are still playing "Maybe we can prevent a recession",

when we've been in the damn thing for, oh, close to two years?

Oh, and not having enough energy is a product of idiots screwing our ability to make it.  Same idiots who put us in this recession.

My, isn't this interesting?

The flag shown includes the black stripe for pedophiles('minor-attracted persons').  Hey, remember what helped get the Taliban support in its early days?  "We're going to end this thing of warlords using children for sex toys."  But the 'progressives' thought all that was in the muslim past as long as said 'progressives' aided them.
As someone put it, "Is that how they think this works? Hey we paid you lip service, now please abandon your social and religious beliefs for us."

This kind of idiocy is one reason our schools have become such garbage

Vice President Kamala Harris spent Thursday afternoon lecturing college students about how the government must ensure "equal outcomes."

"If we want equal outcomes, we need to take into account not everybody starts out on the same base, and we have to make adjustments," Harris told a crowd at Hampton University in Virginia on her month-long college tour called "Fight for Our Freedoms."

And then she calls that 'fair outcomes'.  As if she knew a damn thing about fairneess.

This is the kind of thing that happens when a society raises lots of feral young

They steal, and beat, and rape, and kill, and think they're entitled to do so.  It's just entertainment/making some money/"They/Someone owes me for some reason"/they don't see others as human.

As some have observed, we're going to wind up with the honest starting to kill the bad guys and walk away, because the police have been neutered and lots of the 'justice' system is more involved in showing virtue and political bullshit than protecting the honest.

Now throw in the leftist DAs who seem to care more about causing chaos in their cities than anything else.

Insty is fond of noting 'the police are largely there to protect the criminals from their victims/intended victims from taking care of business themselves.'  He's right.  Some of the police chiefs and DAs pushing to punish anyone who defends themselves or their neighbors makes it worse.  And, sooner or later, there will start the cases of dead bad guys in streets and alleys, or just disappeared.  Which is not exactly an optimal solution, but it's the one they and a lot of other politicians are pushing for, whether they realize it or not.
