Saturday evening toward the end of December

is a good time to be indoors, doing something that doesn't involve freezing

"We need registration because we don't know which of you peasants to arrest or kill

for not following orders without it."

Which is exactly why we DON'T want that shit here.

In today's example of "Well, if she'd dropped the gun she wouldnt' have been hurt" we have

this bunch of effing incompetents:
The man who investigators were looking to arrest was already in jail when a task force raided his former home in Wilmer on Thursday morning. Ann Rylee, a 19-year-old woman who now lives at the home on Old Moffat Road, was shot several times as investigators made their way inside the house. Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran claims that Rylee had a shotgun in her hand and pointed it at officers.
Gee, you smash into someone's home in the dark and they're armed?  Who could imagine such a thing.

And, of course, despite the fact that YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THERE, her getting shot was her fault.  Right.

Cochran said, "The entry team was giving her orders, 'Drop the gun, put the gun down, drop the gun,' several times over a period of a few seconds." He continued, "She pointed the gun at one of them and two or three agents fired upon her."
A bunch of clowns break in in the dark- from the sound of this at least some of them not in any uniform- and she thinks she's in danger.  Damn I wonder why?  Not to mention that 'period of a few seconds' with a bunch of assholes screaming at her.

McLeod was booked into jail around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, about 15 hours before investigators raided his former home.

Sheriff Cochran said, "We do know that there is a miscommunication in this situation. We don't know the exact cause. We have narrowed it down to one of two things."
Holy bleeping....

Friday night's all right for looking things over

An old cowboy walks into a barbershop

in Red Lodge, Montana for a shave and a haircut. He tells the barber he can’t get all his whiskers off because his cheeks are wrinkled from age.

The barber gets a little wooden ball from a cup on the shelf and tells the old cowboy to put it inside his cheek to spread out the skin.

When he’s finished, the old cowboy tells the barber that was the cleanest shave he’d had in years, but he wanted to know what would have happened if he had accidentally swallowed the little ball.

The barber replied, “Just bring it back in a couple of days like everyone else does”.

"We have impeached the President!"

The unspoken followon being "But I won't send this to the Senate until the Senate agrees to handle this the way I want, because I REALLY don't want a bunch of these witnesses and others being put under oath."

Let's have another piece of bullshit, this one from Nukem Swalwell:
On Tuesday, Swalwell declared that, President Donald Trump refuses to give Congress the documents and witnesses that it has demanded, he is clearly guilty of all charged offenses. Swalwell declared “We can only conclude that you’re guilty.”
Ignore the various violations of law that that idiot statement contains: this is Swalwell saying that Obama hiding documents behind 'executive privilege' in the Fast & Furious investigation was his confession of guilt.

Oh yeah, we can play with that.

So, assuming Pelosi is stupid enough to actually do the paperwork

and send this to the Senate, I want a trial.

With witnesses subpoenaed and put under oath- including Schiff and Nadler and the 'whistleblower' and a bunch of others-, including reminding them "You lie under oath, you will be charged".  Without Schiff being able to stop questions when they're getting uncomfortable.

They wanted a circus, give the bastards all three rings and all the clowns.

Don't think I've heard of the Culpepper Minutemen Flag before

Here it is.

Comey is a real piece of shit

All the posturing and lecturing, now he's throwing his minions under the bus in order to prepare his own defense.

We're supposed to believe that with the EffingBI running an investigation of the bloody PRESIDENT, he didn't know what was going on?

Piece. Of. Shit.

Scene from the range

Preface: the .38S&W came before the .38 Special; the bullet is larger diameter, thus so is the cartridge case, and it won't fit into the .38 Special or .357 chamber. Unless something's bad wrong.

While back a guy came into the range with an OLD single-action revolver and a Taurus .357. No ammo available for the SA, but he wanted 'some of those short .38s for practice."
".38 Special?"
"No, those short ones, they don't recoil much."
"The only short .38 I can think of is .38 S&W, and they won't fit in this."
"Yes, they will, and they cost less."

So I got a round of .38 S&W, and it WOULD chamber in the Taurus's cylinder...

That's not good. At all. He really wasn't happy when I told him that not only does .38S&W cost more than .38 Special, but that what he really needed to do was send this thing back to Taurus for a cylinder that's in spec.

Taurus has some nice guns, but you just cannot trust their QC. If you get a good one, it's great, otherwise you may have multiple shipments back to them for warranty service in your future.

An apology? Most of the clowns who pushed this would rather

sacrifice their children to Moloch than admit what they did and why, let alone apologize for it.
