In return he was sent a link to this, which seems to boil down to "Maybe helping the illegal migrants and others and showing the cops don't care about the locals wasn't the best plan, and we're having real problems."

Let's see, you've got who knows how many cops busy policing social media and arresting people for daring to speak unapproved things, they help the illegals & friends and censor anyone who, say, carries a British flag or otherwise refuses to kneel...  exactly what are they supposed to consider 'stepping forward when everything else breaks down'?  When they're helping things break down?  And you're giving the damned orders?

Barring a miracle, Britain is screwed, and in a few years there'll be a star & crescent flag flying over Parliament and women who don't dress 'properly' will be grabbed by the morals police.

Side matter: I doubt it would be safe for me to take that vacation to the British Islands, as I'm probably one of many on the list of 'Arrest them for hate speech if they ever set foot here' people.

Holy crap, the paperwork...

other day got a big bunch of "This is not a bill, it's a summary of what happened" from my insurance.  

I can't yell about the insurance itself, it's pretty good.  And it's why I'm not currently broke.  But the paperwork that comes through...  And every one has about 2-3 pages of "Here are your rights to appeal" stuff in two languages.

But they've done the coverage they're supposed to, so not going ton complain too much.

Two weird- well, three- things I've noticed in the aftermath of

The Problem:

1. My hearing is different, everything has a different sound, high-pitched things tend to be worse.

2. I've noticed that some things taste different.  A few drastically so..  Not bad, but different.

3. One eye feels like it has something in it, almost always.

All this coming out about the same time, I figure it's aftereffects.  And I could do without them.
