Also, back in 1948 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed by the USA (and the UK) and it states
Article 19
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.
I have a right to speak my mind as does everyone else. I also have the right to listen to other people speak. I can then reject or accept what they have said.
