Saturday night has arrived, and being early March

it's either windy as hell or trying to wet all over everything.  So indoors definitely has its good points at times like this.

Attention: if you have a kid who actually has a physical problem with vaccines, (link changed)

that's one thing: if you're not getting your kid vaccinated because 'Autism!' and/or 'Natural Immunity' or some other such bullshit, you're an idiot.  A really low-level one.

This kid spent FIFTY-SEVEN DAYS in a hospital, most of it in critical; God knows what the long-term problems from this might be.  All because his idiot parents don't like vaccines, even one that's been saving lives for eighty years.  And after the kid went through all that,
“Despite extensive review of the risks and benefits of tetanus vaccination by physicians, the family declined the second dose of DTaP and any other recommended immunizations,” the CDC report read.

Another problem for the EUnuchs: Poland says "Screw you."

In a variety of ways.

Now, if the really want to add to the outrage, they can loosen up their gun laws; that'll really have the EU throwing another fit.

Friday, warmer(very nice), damp and threatening to rain;

staying in to study definitely has advantages

Well, yeah: lie under oath, destroy evidence,

we're the FBI, we can get away with that."

Anymore, I can see zero reason to trust ANY EffingBI agent.  About anything.

There's a number of people(it's a very small number) whose brain chemistry

doesn't match their plumbing; they have a real situation to deal with.  Then you have people who have a mental problem of a different kind, who think that being the other sex would fix their lives.  Then you have the idiots who'll jump into any new cause(who'll declare themselves 'non-binary blah-blah-blah' and you're  a hater if you don't agree).

Into this mix you have idiot parents who ok it, and idiot doctors who'll actually start giving these drugs and hormones to children.  And those who'll actively suppress data on what a bloody stupid idea that is, because feelings and PC.

This is child abuse.  And violations of the ethics of medicine.  God knows how many lives have been completely fucked-up by this, with every case being defended as "Who are you to judge/have an opinion/etc.!"

And there's more than one site

The archaeological site, known as Huanchaquito-Las Llamas, represents one of the largest known cases of mass child sacrifice ever seen in the Americas.
Does this still fit in with 'all cultures are equal'?

And the leftists in Hawaii actually admit what they really want:

to either get rid of the 2nd Amendment, or
amended to clarify that the right to bear arms is a collective, rather than individual, constitutional right
'Clarify'.  Yeah.  In a document specifically written to protect the rights of the individual against the government, they want to change this one to make it a 'collective' right.  Because that would mean all kinds of ways for them to restrict the peasants from owning arms.  Of any kind.

Hell with short helicopter rides, there are some perfectly good active volcanoes to throw these oathbreaking bastards into.

Meanwhile, in (formerly Great)Britain,

it seems that all those laws and 'Drop your knife here' bins aren't working.
The UK armed forces “stand ready” to intervene in the knife crime epidemic, the defence secretary has said.

Gavin Williamson said military personnel “would always be ready to respond” to calls for help while the Ministry of Defence “always stands ready to help any government department”.
Their main idea to 'fix' this seems to be "We need a bunch more officers!"  Because actually dealing with the problem would mean blaming people, not objects.

"Well, yeah, but they were progressive, so it's different!"

Yeah, it usually is when the left has to defend one of their secular saints.

Earlier today a repeat visitor came by

I'm pretty sure he's the one who was sitting on the neighbor's carport a few weeks ago; he may well be one I've seen around before that.  I need to find some data and figure what kind he is.

He would explain the loose pile of feathers I've found in the back yard a couple of times.

Let's see... stupid/corrupt politicians, it's cold,

and I have nothing to say about anything right now.  I'm just waiting for it to warm up a bit before I go grocery shopping.

And an air filter; the heater's had a workout lately.

See if you can spot the problem with this statement

'We uphold the principle of free speech exercised responsibly within the law in all our activities; the right to think and speak freely and to explore ideas is fundamental to the idea of a university.

'Upholding academic freedom and respecting the views of others are joint commitments shared by all members of the university and we have a clear Code of Practice on the Freedom of Speech, which is designed to ensure that freedom of speech within the law is secured for all staff, students and visiting speakers.'
Yeah.  'exercised responsibly within the law' does not go well with 'the right to think and speak freely and to explore ideas'.  At least if you actually give a damn about the 'freely' and 'explore' parts.

And 'freedom of speech within the law'...

I do not think 'freedom of speech' means what they think it does.

In other news, Comrade Mayor is a racist control freak

Which is what you get when identity politics rules your mind.

These 'progressives' just flat hate the very idea of individuals, don't they?

No, renewables can't save the planet.  But it can destroy a lot of landscape.  And kill a lot of birds and animals.

Seems the co-founder of GreenPeace isn't real happy with Occasional-Cortex:

Leftists really don't like it when someone tells them "No."

Bunch of pro-rights people show up at meetings with "We Will Not Comply" shirts, and the hacks of the People's Republic of Maryland lose their minds.  So do the Mommies Want and other anti-rights people.

Including this:
Maryland Democratic Party Secretary Robbie Leonard on Monday posted to his personal Facebook page a photograph of a Second Amendment activist standing on a street corner in Annapolis holding a sign that reads “We Will Not Comply,” a slogan adopted by gun rights advocates to broadcast their frustration with restrictive gun laws.

“Time to dox some homegrown terrorists,” wrote Leonard.
Note that this is from asshats who think "Screw federal law, we're a sanctuary city/state!" is a good thing.

Yes, I know: "It's different when WE do it!"
