Late, tired,

here's the data.

A followon to Jew Without a Gun

Girl Without a Gun.

An Australian on the election

I think you'll like it.

Another example of the tolerance and caring of the left

another from the article
Aren't they wonderful people?

Safety pins.  I'm taking this as 'If your diaper is falling off, I will save you'.
From the comments: 'Do people on the left think Trump is really going to make Muslim people register because it was their hero, FDR, who actually did inter people?'

Oh, boy, this is gonna make heads explode:
Donald Trump has selected one of the best-known climate skeptics to lead his U.S. EPA transition team, according to two sources close to the campaign.
...
Ebell is a well-known and polarizing figure in the energy and environment realm. His participation in the EPA transition signals that the Trump team is looking to drastically reshape the climate policies the agency has pursued under the Obama administration. Ebell’s role is likely to infuriate environmentalists and Democrats but buoy critics of Obama’s climate rules.

Ebell, who was dubbed an “elegant nerd” and a “policy wonk” by Vanity Fair, is known for his prolific writings that question what he calls climate change “alarmism.” He appears frequently in the media and before Congress. He’s also chairman of the Cooler Heads Coalition, a group of nonprofits that “question global warming alarmism and oppose energy-rationing policies.”

Mike Rowe thoughts on the election
But here’s the thing – Dirty Jobs didn’t resonate because the host was incredibly charming. It wasn’t a hit because it was gross, or irreverent, or funny, or silly, or smart, or terribly clever. Dirty Jobs succeeded because it was authentic. It spoke directly and candidly to a big chunk of the country that non-fiction networks had been completely ignoring. In a very simple way, Dirty Jobs said “Hey – we can see you,” to millions of regular people who had started to feel invisible. Ultimately, that’s why Dirty Jobs ran for eight seasons. And today, that’s also why Donald Trump is the President of the United States.
And this:
Like those 3 million “shovel ready” jobs we heard so much about eight years ago, the kind of recovery that Donald Trump is promising will require a workforce that’s properly trained and sufficiently enthused about the opportunities at hand. At the moment, we do not have that work force in place. What we do have, are tens of millions of capable people who have simply stopped looking for work, and millions of available jobs that no one aspires to do. That’s the skills gap, and it’s gotta close. If mikeroweWORKS can help, we’re standing by.

If Trump's smart, he'll get Rowe involved in the 'get people to train for the jobs begging for people' work.

To close the evening, a report from No Progress Central,

also known as Seattle.
On election night daughter Jaime was scanning the reddit forums looking for material to satisfy her schadenfreude appetite and found Hitler reference gems like, “I don’t know whether I should just register myself now or wait for the Gestapo to force me to.” and “I’m thinking it is better to kill myself and die with dignity than to be executed in the camps.” And who do we find practicing for Kristallnacht? Yeah, you guessed it. It was the Nationalist Socialists back in 1938 and it was the Socialists on November 9, 2016.

I know it’s irrational to expect people to be rational, but these people are messing up the streets and causing problems for people who probably voted about 80% or 90% for Clinton (the entire county went over 75% for Clinton, Seattle would have been even harder left).

What is it they are trying to accomplish? The answer, I believe, is that it is in their nature to get physical when they don’t get their way through legal processes and they just can’t help themselves. Socialists are nothing but thugs with a thin veneer of respectability and when that veneer gets scratched, they get physical.

Data time

Because I hardly accomplished squat today, and my back hurts.  This is much easier than the other crap I need to do.

Anti-bullying: you're doing it wrong

An anti-bullying advocate was arrested near Trump Tower for shoving an elderly man to the ground Thursday night in a dispute over the election results, cops said.

Brooklyn resident Shacara McLaurin, 23, got into a heated dispute with the 74-year-old man about 10:45 p.m. on the second night of protests outside Trump’s Midtown skyscraper.

The exact details of the argument are unclear, but the woman is accused of pushing the Manhattan resident to the ground at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street — about a block from Trump Tower, cops said.

The victim suffered a cut to his head and complained of severe pain.
Add this to the other assaults and arson and vandalism by peaceful protesters.

Get past the "I'm a good leftist who hates Trump" start

and it gets good.  Real good.

And I doubt most of the leftists have the brains to understand just how accurate this is.

Borrowed from Larry Correia on Bookface,

because this is gold, and the asshat he was responding to burned the thread:
1. If any of those isolated incidents actually happened, file a police report.
2. Yes. Racist assholes exist. See #1.
3. "Fear" doesn't give you the right to burn other people's shit.
4. If you are genuinely concerned for your safety due to the assholes in #2 learn how to defend yourself.
5. Burning other people's shit isn't "self defense".

And Shaun King is a piece of shit, white suburbanite, who pretended to be black by growing a skinny mustache and flaring his nostrils hard for photographs. He is a publicity whore who fabricated a career based on other people's legitimate outrage. So fuck him.

If racist assholes damage your property, call the cops. If racist assholes demonstrate ability, opportunity, and an immediate threat of serious bodily harm, fucking shoot them.

Blocking freeways is retarded. Defending the blocking of freeways because some fucking hillbilly in Somnambulant Wisconsin or Bumfuck West Virginia called somebody you don't know a mean name is extra retarded.

Grow up. Quit burning other people's shit. Quit defending the burning of other people's shit.

Exactly.

Whyever wouldn't they want to show how much money this is bringing i-

oh, that's why.
That leads Coombs and other gun tax opponents to wonder: How much money has Seattle collected from this tax? It's the subject of a lawsuit filed by reporter Dave Workman and the Bellevue-based Second Amendment Foundation in September.

In the spring, Workman sought the city's tax revenue from the gun violence tax, but the city government declined to divulge the information, claiming that such records could compromise the identities of the people who have paid the tax.
Which is bullshit, but it's the excuse they chose.  Because that's much better than admitting their "It makes me feel virtuous!" tax is driving business to other cities.

Considering the current rash of idiots 'protesting'

by attacking people, it's a good time to post this link again: Jew Without a Gun

Background:
During the Los Angeles riots of 1992, my wife Karen and I, Ariel and Offspring #2, were inside a film theater. Abruptly, an angry mob congregated outside; soon they were trying to break down the doors. Trapped inside, we were all terrified. I held Offspring#2 in my arms; she shivered like a frightened rabbit. Karen gripped Ariel’s hand.

“Don’t worry,” we were assured, “the police will be here soon.”

But the police did not arrive that night, nor did they protect the city from arson, looting and murder. In fact, we watched in disbelief as news cameras captured images of police officers standing idly by while looters gleefully committed their crimes.

A few days later, I purchased a pistol, a 1911 .45 ACP.

You want to know how effing insane these people are?

This much.
They put this up yesterday.  Then someone with a modicum of brains took it down, but (say it with me) The Internets Is Forever.

Somebody started beating my dog this way,

there'd be biped bodies on the street.  Many as it took.  There are no words.

We still don’t know who will win the electoral college, although as I write this it looks — incredibly, horribly — as if the odds now favor Donald J. Trump. What we do know is that people like me, and probably like most readers of The New York Times, truly didn’t understand the country we live in.
Once more, the only proper comment is

Snork.   Hehehehehe.
"Democrats have been arguing for years that President Obama should have the power to get a lot done on his own, without going through Congress: executive orders, going to war, etc. If President Trump exercises similarly broad powers, remember: Trump didn't build that!"

Next time some apologist starts the "Hillary's acts weren't worth prosecuting!" or some such crap,
The Obama administration has filed more charges against those who leak classified information than all previous presidential administrations combined, according to a statement made by CNN’s Jake Tapper that was marked “True” by Politifact. The culture of secrecy in Washington is so prevalent that former CIA and NSA Director Michael Hayden famously said in 2010, “Everything’s secret. I mean, I got an email saying ‘Merry Christmas.’ It carried a top secret NSA classification marking.”

Even seemingly minor violations of these policies are met with little mercy.
Unless your name is Clinton, or you're one of her thralls.

The tolerant left

Twitter is exploding with people calling for president-elect Donald Trump to be assassinated

The Republican real-estate billionaire beat Hillary Clinton handily to become the next president of the United States, but that hasn’t stopped lots of people calling for somebody to murder him.
Lots of examples.

More, including riots, arson, vandalism, and calls for murder.

This has nothing to do with politics, I like this song

and the video someone put together really goes with it.

Someday I've got to see some of that series

My Deity, the level of screaming,

insult and so forth is amazing.  Among things I've learned this morning:
I'm not capable of forming an opinion of Clinton on my own, it had to be spoon-fed to me by the fever swamps of conspiracy thinking.
Trump winning 'proves' there's no vote fraud.
America is shameful.
'I am horrified, terrified, and ashamed'.(Really?  You loved and respected Clinton that much?)
'Nobody had a problem with Hillary until she announced for President.'(the disconnect from reality of that one is kind of awe-inspiring)
And on.  And on.

I wish I felt better, I'd hit the range with something large and loud to add to the noise.

So the Democrat margin of cheat wasn't big enough,

I really find myself surprised.

Speaking of the Dept. of 'Justice',

Another possible conflict of interest stemmed from Justice Department official Peter Kadzik’s close ties to Clinton campaign chair John Podesta. Kadzik, the Justice Department’s liaison to Congress, emailed Podesta in May 2015, giving him a “heads up” that the head of the DOJ Civil Division was about to testify before the House Judicial Committee and was “likely to get questions on State Department emails.”

In the May 19, 2015 email released by WikiLeaks, Kadzik also informed Podesta that the latest FOIA filing “indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails” recovered from Hillary Clinton’s private server.

Podesta forwarded Kadzik’s email to the Clinton campaign team, telling them: “Additional chances for mischief.”
'Possible conflict'?

Throw in everything else that's come out, add Eric Holder II running the place, and it doesn't need investigation, it needs fumigation.

I'm going to drag myself out later,

hopefully after the 'vote before work' crowd thins a bit, and vote.  Then I'm going to ignore it as much as possible.

On the heading of "We used to have the rule of law',
A former FBI assistant director who served during Bill Clinton's presidency said agents would have to be "deaf, dumb and blind" not to see how the Obama administration is protecting former Secretary of StateHillary Clinton from an investigation or indictment.
...
"You think they perceive the agency or some at Justice as taking sides?" host Megyn Kelly asked Kallstrom.

"You'd have to be deaf, dumb, and blind not to see that. Of course that's what's happening. I mean just look at what's in the public domain. I mean, look at the stuff that they left on the table. Top secret codeword documents," Kallstrom responded.
And please note this shit from Kelly:
Kelly followed up with a report that the Bureau embodied a Trumpland, where some envisioned Clinton as the "anti-Christ personified." While Kallstrom said he would not describe the FBI as Trumpland, he admitted agents are frustrated the rule of law is not being brought forward because of politicians and partisan loyalty.
Want to actually investigate and enforce the law, "You're a Trump guy!  You hate Hillary!"  I will refrain from boosting my blood pressure any higher.

A little more on the EffingBI being frustrated:
“This is a textbook case where a grand jury should have convened but was not. That is appalling,” an FBI special agent who has worked public corruption and criminal cases said of the decision. “We talk about it in the office and don’t know how Comey can keep going.”
The agent was also surprised that the bureau did not bother to search Clinton’s house during the investigation.

“We didn’t search their house. We always search the house. The search should not just have been for private electronics, which contained classified material, but even for printouts of such material,” he said.
...
DiGenova told WMAL radio’s Drive at Five last week, “People are starting to talk. They’re calling their former friends outside the bureau asking for help. We were asked to day to provide legal representation to people inside the bureau and agreed to do so and to former agents who want to come forward and talk. Comey thought this was going to go away.”

He explained, “It’s not. People inside the bureau are furious. They are embarrassed. They feel like they are being led by a hack but more than that that they think he’s a crook. They think he’s fundamentally dishonest. They have no confidence in him. The bureau inside right now is a mess.”
Yeah, yeah, "We're all pissed-off, and we'll talk!  Sure we will!"  At this point I'll believe it when it happens.

Yeah, you might say my confidence in the EffingBI and all the Very Special Agents is rather low.

We've got CNN firing one clown for passing debate questions to Clinton(and she's not sorry, she'd just do it smarter next time) while they're STILL cooperating with the Clinton campaign, and on and on; borrowing from Ace, Vanity Fair: Maybe the Right-Wing Media Isn't Crazy. Maybe the Media Is Biased as Sh*t.  When someone from VF says
Rather remarkably, there was virtually no mention of Clinton or any other candidate running for president on this particular day. And so I repeated this little thought experiment again last week and the results were largely the same...
[Previous efforts at "balance"], whether or not it satisfies a Breitbart or Fox audience, has always set [the "mainstream" media] apart from partisan media like the Washington Times. But this election is different: for the first time in my memory, some of the major media organizations in this country have now abandoned all semblance of objectivity in furtherance of electing Hillary Clinton, or perhaps more accurately, in furtherance of the defeat of Donald Trump.

then if you doubted there was a problem, stop doubting.  Most of the major media has left nothing but a lace mask of "We're unbiased!" to cover their bias, their lack of ethics, their corruption, and it's not working.  Never trust the bastards again.

Which brings us back to the EffingBI and the Dept. of 'Justice'.  Unless someone runs a roto-rooter through both of them, they'll never be trusted again, and shouldn't be.  Throw in the IRS, which deserves contempt(its "This is in the past, just drop it and give us more money!" leader deserves a cell), and the EPA which deserves being thrown in a shark-infested bay with chum rubbed on all their legs.

And they still tell us to trust them.  Fat damned chance.  They can one and all go to hell.

One last thing: all you EffingBI agents, we keep hearing how unhappy you are, how you're grumbling and threatening resignations, how you're ready to talk.  Well, either fucking DO IT, or admit that you're ok with corrupt Bureau bosses and a corrupt DoJ, long as you keep getting your paycheck and can look forward to the pension.

Modern life: shooting advice from Rob Leatham

right in your home

Those NAS3 cases?  Arthur, in comments, provided this link for some more information.

Glenn Filthie had this posted, and I stole it.

I've never seen that rocking marching step, but wow.

No, I do NOT want everything in my house

connected to the internet.  At all.  Period.

I read about these cases a while back,

now they're out.  I'm curious how they'll work out.

Interesting sight.

Apparently they threw a LOT of sling bullets around.

Janet Reno is dead

Maybe she'll face the judgement she deserves now.  Maybe by some of her victims setting her on fire.

"We're keeping you safe, ungrateful peasants, so shut up

and be healthy while you starve!"

Canada has gone all (formerly Great)Britian:
Jeff McCarthy says for the last 25 years, whenever he is walking the streets of Montreal in his kilt, he also has a Scottish traditional knife protruding from his right sock.
...
But McCarthy ran into trouble on his way to play the bagpipes at McGill University's fall convocation at Place-des-Arts Wednesday.

He was stopped by Montreal police officers and fined $220 for carrying a knife in public.
Besides the general stupid of this, get the law in question:
McCarthy was ticketed under a municipal bylaw that prohibits anyone from carrying a knife or "similar weapon" in a public place or transit vehicle "without a reasonable excuse.
You need a friggin' EXCUSE to carry a basic tool in Canada?  Screw that.

More wonders of the Venezuelan Socialist Revolution: more dead children.

I'd say 'bully' is a polite word: what leftists really want is to run censorship and control over everyone.

Yuck.  Not just for the election.  It's raining, I'm still sick, and I'd just about kill someone for a big platter of enchiladas.  See you later.

Now this is a response to social justice whiners

Take special note of the last line, probably caused Spoopy to blow a gasket.

If my head were any more stuffed,

you could use it to catch jumpers.

I'm sick of people who think if you point out that one of the main candidates is a asshat, they think you love the other.  I'm especially sick of the "Nothing!  All made up!  Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy!" from the Clinton thralls.  I swear it's true, she could murder a kitten and a puppy, or rape a 12-year-old, on live tv and they'd still insist it was all fake and she's our only hope.

In stead of actual writing, here's the actual, true movie review of that abortion that stole the name Starship Troopers.

When a judge looks over your 'investigation' and asks 'Where's the kangaroo?',

you know your investigation was crap, and you're full of shit.

Hey, NEA members, how's it feel knowing your union doesn't give a damn what you think?

Wonder how the actual lawmen in the EffingBI feel about how things are going?
And because I'm sick to death of all this(not helped by being actually sick), a point from Whiteboard on barrel cleaning:

Two things that really ought to piss you off in these two paragraphs

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government e-mails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, DC, e-mails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material.

In fact, Marina Santos was called on so frequently to receive e-mails that she may hold the secrets to E-mailgate — if only the FBI and Congress would subpoena her and the equipment she used.
But that would mean the EffingBI and the Do'J' actually doing their damned jobs.  And enough of the brass(at least) don't want to.  Congress?  The Democrats care more about getting Clinton elected than law, or honor(if they've ever known what that was), and I don't doubt some of the Republicans don't have the balls to really push it.

The EffingBI agents running the 'investigation'?
Yet it appears Clinton was never asked by the FBI in its yearlong investigation to turn over the iMac Santos used to receive the e-mails, or the printer she used to print out the documents, or the printouts themselves.
Maybe we can still trust some agents; there's a bunch of them we can't.  And if they think we're going to forget this, they're downright stupid.

Why I've come to despise Comey so much, aside

from the damage he's done to this country:
One of the things he said to try to defend himself before Congress was "Hey, if you think I messed-up, then the other agents messed-up too!"  Comey's not a EffingBI agent, he's a political appointee; and if you think that the agents he threw under the bus don't know what he is and what he did...

Second, that UK Mail article about how upset he was?  You'll notice he's all upset because 'People at work are being mean to me!'  Not because he violated his oath, not because of the damage he did to the rule of law: purely "They won't talk to me anymore, and some of them are resigning!"

Screw you, Comey, you deserve to feel far worse than you apparently do.
