"I am proud of my African heritage"

he says, not mentioning the family history that black Americans might not like.

And, last I heard, most Egyptians have real problems with being described as black.  But hey, he's a politician, what sells works, right?

Californicated fornicates things up worse
.  For the peasant's own good, of course.

It's too bad for David Morens that he didn't get one of those blanket pardons that President Joe Biden handed out to his former colleague, Anthony Fauci. Morens, a former senior advisor at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has pleaded guilty to taking part in a scheme to hide federal records during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking of such, know someone who believes every word- still- that came out of Fauci's mouth, and her standard response to pointing out a bunch of his lies is both "What about Trump's lies?" and "Everything from Fox News is lies."
I'd point out that damn little I post on came from Fox, and those I have are cross-checked, and 'Do you actually think that's the only place I get information?', but it's not worth it.

Short version: "Until the stuff is put in writing for you to read, don't count on anything dealing with suppressors and SBRs and SBSs."

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to do some constructive things that involve cleaning.

Short version: prison hell, Fauci and a bunch of other bureaucrats and toadies

pretty much earned a free conversion to tree decorations.

It's an Instapundit link, which has a bunch of links in it to follow all this crap.  Which is amazing and disgusting.

Yesterday having been That Day this year,

I'm borrowing this from Feral:

Tax Poem/Unknown Author

Tax his land, tax his wage,
Tax his bed in which he lays.
Tax his tractor, tax his mule,
Teach him taxes is the rule.

Tax his cow, tax his goat,
Tax his pants, tax his coat.
Tax his ties, tax his shirts,
Tax his work, tax his dirt.

Tax his chew, tax his smoke,
Teach him taxes are no joke.
Tax his car, tax his grass,
Tax the roads he must pass.

Tax his food, tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his sodas, tax his beers,
If he cries, tax his tears.

Tax his bills, tax his gas,
Tax his notes, tax his cash.
Tax him good and let him know
That after taxes, he has no dough.

If he hollers, tax him more,
Tax him until he’s good and sore.
Tax his coffin, tax his grave,
Tax the sod in which he lays.

Put these words upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom!"
And when he’s gone, we won’t relax,
We’ll still be after the inheritance tax.

Well, the idiots in the state voted for leftists, so this

is what they get.  And it'll keep screwing them as long as they keep letting these idiots stay in office.

Or until they say to hell with it and leave the state.   In which case lots of them will start voting the same damned way in the state they move to.  Because they're idiots, too.

A bit more from that island group across the Atlantic

One of many lessons from our hearings today.

In many cases, the police were complicit in these rapes. I do not say that lightly.

The lack of any desire to investigate these men is criminal. It happened again and again and again.

And yes. It’s mainly because the rapists were Muslims.

Parents pleaded and begged. The police all too often did nothing. Staggeringly, they even suggested the parents work with the rapists, as we heard today. This went on for years, years and years and years. We will be releasing further evidence on this over the coming days.

Yes, there's more.  The question is: you get more, Mr. Lowe, what will you actually do about it?

Speaking of slimy Democrat(in this case) politicians,

was sent this reminder of their liking of guns and kidnapping, as long as it's their minions holding them and doing it
Elian Gonzales, being taken by Feds at Clinton administration orders.  And handing him over to a communist government.

Tuesday, September 09, 2025

Lawdog has had a couple of posts on the murder of Iryna Zarutska,

one being here on the general way of behaving with people like that murdering shit around; the other gets more into the failures/faults of the leftist assistants to murder and more crimes responsible for the shit being loose to do this.

Are you angry? Are you furious?

GOOD — because that picture did not happen in a vacuum. It was enabled by people who were placed into a position of power to allow it to happen by the voting public, and those powerful people understand that — given enough time — the voting public will forget about this, and allow them to remain in power. You’d better remember that fury at the voting booth.

Do you grieve for her? Does your heart hurt at the expression on her face? Well, understand — in your blood and in your bones — that our self-anointed betters in the Legacy Media don’t give a damn about her. Understand in your core that the political class doesn’t give a damn about her. Understand in your fangs and in your claws that the parasites, and the grifters, and the pretty people, and Our Betters in their coastal metromesses, in their ivory towers, and in their City Halls and Capitols … don’t give a single, solitary damn about her.

Or you. Or your children. Or your family.

They think they’re better than you, and they don’t give a damn about you. You are on your own.

He ends it with a copy of the Killhouse Rules

Just to add to the rage, some of the city council and the Mayor wanted the videos to be kept away from the public.  'For the sake of the families', with no mention that there's an election today with the Mayor running for another term.

Which is probably part of the reason most of our Professional Journalists would not touch the story.

Don't always agree with Kim, but sometimes definitely do Added thought And some more

And this is one of  them: agree, the chances of this many people of one party dying in this period of time approaching an election says "Somebody's causing this, three guesses who."   And since the security services people would be the big suspects, their 'investigations and statements' don't really mean much.

And yes, Trump & Co. need to ignore some things, and not get distracted by bullshit.  Whatever your opinion on transsexuals, I think allowing this to start a nose-under-the-tent of 'Someone with a mental problem should be banned from having guns' is a really bad idea.

And that's my agreeableness of the day.

Adding on:
I think the big problem starts with school 'counselors' and 'teachers' who get involved in playing gender games with little kids, and start pushing some to 'transition'.  Take those idiots out of the equation and a LOT of the difficulties would disappear.  Especially problematic is politicians who pass laws that "If you don't support your kid in this, you're an abuser and should have your kid taken away.  In THEIR case, hanging sounds like a good idea.  At the least, tar & feathers.

On transsexuals and the right to arms, it's possible that Trump is playing the left.
"Given how Democrats react to anything Trump does, you know what’s coming: the anti-gun Left is going to sound like National Rifle Association members. They will likely devote endless hours to full-throated defenses of gun ownership and Second Amendment rights. The president is setting the stage for the Democrats to cannibalize their anti-gun positions, sacrificing generations of activism for transgender gun rights. The Left was ALWAYS wrong about gun rights; we just had to wait a long time to find an issue where the opposition could self-implode on this one, and they will."

Entirely possible.

'The Story of an Industrial Flop'

In this case MRNA vaccines.  Which is doing real damage to vaccines in general, and trust in the public health clowns.
This signals the end of an era of pharmaceutical innovation marked by arrogance, huge expenditure, wild risk taking, decades of skullduggery, and experiments on the population that will go down in history. Jay and RFK deserve congratulations for finally codifying the fate accompli, but the verdict had already been rendered by the public.

The public has long been skeptical of these injections. Even in the summer of 2021, I gave a speech in which I improvised an unexpected laugh line about how governments are always claiming to do good things for us while forcing on us things we don’t want. Listing taxes, public radio, foreign wars, and inflation, I included mRNA injection.

The crowd went wild. Of course this was a time of intensifying mandates in all sectors. People were forced to get a shot they did not need or want, and you could feel the outrage growing. Whole cities were segregated by vaccine status. Students were being kicked out of school and professors losing their jobs too. Even nurses who had risked it all and gained natural immunity were forced to inoculate themselves.

It was the same summer in which the people’s favorite COVID vaccine, the one-and-done produced by J&J that used a different method of delivery, was pulled off the market by none other than Anthony Fauci. It was part of a long effort to boost one method of delivering immunity (mRNA) over every other option.

Which makes me wonder just how rich Fauci became in this.
I'll also note that the one time my doc tried to talk me into getting a Wuhan vaccine, he specified the J&J vaccine.

More on the studies here.

There really are people, both in .gov and private businesses, who need to be in cells over this, and it wouldn't hurt people's feelings if some of them wound up on a rope.  Like the bastards who pushed to have children be required to take this garbage.

There are multiple countries where officials involved in the Coronavirus crap

belong in jail.  For a start.  For instance,
For five years, the Federal Intelligence Service (BND) has assumed that the coronavirus originated in a Chinese laboratory. The BND classifies the laboratory theory as "probable" and is "80 to 95 percent" certain. Since then, the German government has kept secret the BND's findings that the virus originated in the biolab in Wuhan . This is reported by NZZ, Zeit, and Süddeutsche Zeitung.
Makes you wonder how much damage to their- and other- countries they considered acceptable to their "This gets us more power!" plans.

That's one of the groups involved who went with "We need to keep everyone scared", no matter what.  One of the bits of consequence we're still dealing with:
A growing number of scientific studies have concluded the measures in the United States did little to slow the rampaging pathogen. What’s more, the stifling of public debate about them eroded trust in public health policy and prevented more effective strategies, according to a number of prominent infectious-disease experts.
...
But while the impact of lockdown policies is still being studied, new research paints a troubling picture of the immense collateral damage inflicted by them.
The measures increased poverty and wealth disparities, spurred a dramatic rise in adolescent anxiety and depression, contributed to a surge in fatal drug overdoses, and led to devastating learning losses in schoolchildren, who have yet to recover, according to scientific studies. As of last spring, the average American student remained half a grade behind pre-pandemic levels in both math and reading, according to a recent report card on pandemic learning loss.

And yes, there's more.

Now let's go to the current "People who need introduction to a flagrum" situation with bird flu:
While I may have been right about the gain-of-function (GOF), I was wrong about the laboratory. It turns out this frankenvirus might be a joint American and Dutch creation.

And, as with China, poor biosafety practices may have been a contributing factor.

"Trust the Science and Experts!", my ass.

An awful lot of people seem to think the murder of an insurance company executive is just fine,

because "He is behind Bad Things!" and "It sends a message to the others!"

Ok, let's play that game.  How many government agencies can you think of who've ruined people, harassed people, even taken people's lives for really bad reasons('to send a message', 'No, we didn't need to do a raid, but we did it anyway!', 'Hey, we're the (fill in alphabet designation) and we can do this!", "Our work is important and we need to be able to do this!")?

So, will all those leftists and young dumbasses be ok if people get fed up and start doing bad things to one of the agents/agencies involved?  Or will it be "But it's different when they/we do it, and we like what they did!" again?

If "They did harm to my family/friend/land" becomes the standard for "It's good someone did this", that's a bad path to start down.

Thursday, December 05, 2024

First it was "We can't visit those people to see if they need relief help because

"The road is closed, and we can't walk around the barricade!"
Then we had "Those people had Trump signs, and they're kind of like mad dogs and we were told to not talk to them."
Now,
Throw in the State authorities: bunch of Amish show up and build cabins so people can live in those instead of tents while figuring out housing, to have the State show up and say "Those cabins aren't built to our Code, so get out of them and go back to freezing in tents!"

Government: how would you get screwed without it?

A bit of news before the day really starts

Starting with what caused that odd screaming sound from the direction of DC:

Another "You can't do that" to a federal agency; it's wonderful

The brass on the seventh floor at FBI headquarters in Washington have been in a daze and wary of a housecleaning since Donald Trump was reelected president on Tuesday, inside sources say.

The Washington Times learned through several anonymous bureau sources that senior agency executives were “stunned” and “shell-shocked” by Mr. Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.

“You know the fit test? How they let the standards slack on the fit test?” said the first FBI source, referring to the agency’s physical fitness requirements. “Everyone’s going to have a real problem when they’re running for the door.”

I hope they're having heart palpitations.  The crap they've been caught at, they should be with someone who wants to deal with them coming into the Oval Office.  Personally, one of the first things Trump does should be to do said dealing with them.  Can't do anything about the shredders some of the are probably burning out, unfortunately.

There was a FEMA clown who specifically directed personnel in NC to not talk to people with Trump signs on their houses/yards.  Some whistleblowers made enough noise they couldn't just cover it up, and she was fired.  Now,
'FEMA preaches avoidance first, and then de-escalation. This is not isolated. This is a colossal event of avoidance,' Washington said in an interview with YouTube podcaster Roland Martin.

'Not just in the state of Florida. You will find avoidance in the Carolinas,' she revealed.

She says she was directly following FEMA protocol when she issued the controversial directive.
There's an amount of 'those people come out guns blazing' ass-covering in this, of course.  It'll be interesting what the investigations turn up about FEMA protocol.  Including the question someone asked: If it's her, maybe a couple of other clowns alone, why did they think they could get away with this?  Three guesses, you only need one.

This does seem to cover it

And this will cause further screaming, from all over and not just DC:  Trump appointed Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to run a Dept. of Government Efficiency.
Yes, I know, creating a new department doesn't sound good.  If it can stick to "We're getting rid of this and this and that whole bunch over there", I can get behind it.

And one more "Let's cause a lot of pain and wailing":

Incredible news: President @realDonaldTrump planning to tax excessively large private university endowments (which have benefited greatly from taxpayer $) to establish American Academy, a free online university for all. Purely academic.
Let's see, Harvard has something like forty billion in their, a fair number of others with multiple billions... I like it for the pure shock value, if nothing else.

See you later.

Had a bit of time to look around the other day, and a few things I'll throw out

More 'Our media is shit'
And how do they frame this clown getting her ass handed to her?

FEMA is run by idiots, Part the Whatever

A serious opinion on how lots of the .gov has forgotten a very important thing about disaster work

Mexican media all in for Harris

And, as a palate cleanser, things that work: they caught the booster stage

Damn.  Sometimes the future is really not stupid.

More when have the time, see you when I can

Thursday, October 03, 2024

Oh, NOW we know where Mayor Pete is and what he's doing:

He's fucking people over.
NEW - Federal Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has shut down aid flights into Western North Carolina. A NOTAM has been issued by the FAA that won’t allow anyone not approved by the state to fly aid missions. They said they would give permission but they’re not being cooperative at all. At least six m pilots from Virginia are being prevented from getting their aid shipments into Asheville Regional Airport.

Compare to de Santis in Florida:
#BREAKING: DeSantis says Florida National Guard is being deployed to ports impacted by ongoing strike to maintain order and, if possible, resume operations "Florida is open - we want to use our resources to get this stuff to the market."
I wonder what the rules of engagement are if anybody tries to interfere?

It's hard to believe that all of this is simply because of incompetence and

"If I'm not in charge, you can't do it!".  From a FL National Guardsman,
What got me fired up about this was yesterday, me and my team did the rescue of that 11-day-year-old baby and all these government officials and social media, they're showing that video, that pictures and video of that rescue and claiming that they have some government help with that. Even USA Today wrote an article about it saying it was a Florida National Guard that went and got it with a helicopter. No, it was me, my buddy Charlie, and a civilian named Zeb with his own personal helicopter out of Wilmington, North Carolina.

Without that civilian, that baby would be dead. And the old lady we went and rescued after that, she'd be dead too because she had one day left of oxygen. No one was going to go get them.
...
Nobody wants to coordinate with anybody. Everybody wants to pretend like they're being the hero while these people are literally f*cking dying in the mountains. And these people, I'm saying these people are limited medication.

They're running out of oxygen and there's no one going to get them. The most effective way I have found to go find these people is by getting in a helicopter and flying down the rivers and roads and looking for SOS messages or people waving us down. And then we dropped down and get them.
...
I think we did four refuelings yesterday and that was like just in half a day's work. We're in Asheville. And I saw two air force helicopter sixties and I knew there were PJs just looking at them.

And I went up to him like, Hey guys, like what are y'all doing? And like, this is what you need to be doing. This, this, this, this is how I'm finding people. And they're like, we can't go.

We're waiting on title 10 orders. And I'm like, what? They just, they can't get any afforded. There's military helicopters all over here sitting on the ground and they can't do nothing.

Even my JSOC boys in Fayetteville, they can't get orders to come out here. It is just the most disgusting thing. And they're killing these people.

And I don't know why they're doing it. I don't know what kind of conspiracy I've heard so many things, whatever you want to come up with, but they are literally allowing these people to f*cking die in the mountains right now because we can't get helicopters. They got money for everything else in the f*cking world right now.

I'm hoping that, by the time I write this, some of the bullshit has been straightened out, but I have doubts.  Veep Harris, for instance, promised '$750 for those in need, if they apply for it.'
Fucking hell.

Apply HOW?  No phones, no internet, often no food, water or medicine, so how the HELL are they going to apply?

What're you going to do, Harris, stop paying for more illegals to come in long enough to 'save' that much money, probably not giving a damn if these people live long enough to apply?

I have no words for how pissed I am right now.

There are a bunch of people who need to be dangling by the short & curlies

Guy takes his chopper and starts running rescue.  Asshole official becomes involved.
“I told him my background experience, law enforcement, firefighting, and pilot and he immediately started helping with coordination. He gave me radio frequencies to coordinate with them on, set up a landing area for me to come back with the other victim, and just basically started the rescue efforts; the policies and procedures that you would take coordinating with someone from an outside source or outside agency. And in the middle of the whole conversation and them blocking the road off, I was greeted by the – at that time I didn’t know – but the Lake Lure fire chief, or assistant chief, maybe. And he shut down the whole operation.”
...
“If that’s what you want us to do, we’ll leave no issue. And I explained to him that I left my son on the side of the mountain, and I left another victim. I was going to go back and bring them, it was already set up for the landing spot and then I would get out of his area. He told me I wasn’t going to go back up the mountain to get them, I was going to leave them there.”
...
Seidhom said he asked the official for a specific reason he was ordering him to stop his rescue efforts. “You’re interfering with my operation,” is the reason Seidhom said the fire official gave.

Yes, the asshole has been identified.

This is ONE of the incidents involving officials telling volunteers to go away, or to do nothing 'until we approve it', and so on.

Now add in this:
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted on Wednesday that "FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.” One reason for that is that under Biden-Harris, FEMA spent $650 million this fiscal year providing services and housing to illegal aliens. And $364 million the year before that.
There's a lot more in that post about just how effing disgusting the FEMA response has been in the past as well.

Now throw in this:
