With a small amount of time and no energy left

this evening, it's time for some clearing

One of the fun things learned about strokes, and the two kinds, is this:

The ischemic, the most common, occurs when something causes blockage of a artery feeding blood to the brain.  And it has a standard set of symptoms to watch for.

Hemorrhagic stroke is less common, and doesn't have that set.  As in when I asked a couple of the doctors "Is there any warning signs I should watch for?", the answer was "If you start feeling like that again, get to an emergency room."  

Gee, isn't that wonderful?  Considering the only signs were a headache, and not a horrible one, and some throwing up.  

Ah, as you find out more about the different things that can kill you*...

*In some cases if you're lucky, in some they can cripple you for the rest of your life.  Which reminds you, if you haven't done that, to get a will make, and give someone medical power of attorney to keep someone from sticking you on life support for the next few years.

The large protest of brave mothers outside of the Britannia hotel in Canary Wharf, are now sat on the pavement and road chanting "stop the boats!"

It is interesting to see the dominance of the English flag - the Red Cross of St George - in the above footage rather than the Union Jack. It's almost as if the citizenry are beginning to discern that Britishness is a supra-national identity that, applied as it currently is, has provided a useful cover for the English people's dispossession in their own homeland.

By the way, the video of the arriving "refugees" and the women's protest have been so effective that the dirty stinkin' rotten corrupt Metropolitan Police have invoked emergency powers to prevent it happening again.

Outrageous. The police have now allegedly enacted Section 42A, which bans protestors from demonstrating outside the Britannia hotel for 28 days.

Women peacefully protesting is causing "distress" to men in the hotel.

Touched on this a few days ago, and it's just getting worse.  And ran across this at Smallest Minority:
Will there be a "Revolution" in Britain?, written by a guy from there.  Let's say it looks bad.  Including how the Brits were slowly and steadily disarmed, which gives us an idea how things would be here if it had happened to us.

And don't doubt it: if we had given up and been just mostly disarmed, we'd be a damn sight worse off.
