Dry finally, but still chilly

Which is nice; there are limits to how much constant damp and chilly I can handle.

And now, on to the main feature

It's been wet all day, now it's downright chilly;

must be all that globular warming/coolering/climate changery we're told about.  In any case(now that you've stopped laughing), the data is in

One of the two reasons I still use Fecesbook is to post stuff that'll annoy the hell out of the Right People;

This is one of them.
Media finally notices that the RCP 8.5 climate model is over-hyped science fiction

Joe Biden has put a presidential imprimatur on climate change being an existential threat, and he doesn’t mean in the Jean-Paul Sartre sense of man’s search for meaning in an uncomforting universe.

He means the end of humanity, a claim nowhere found in climate science.

This is odd because the real news today is elsewhere. Its movement may be ocean-liner-like, the news may be five years old before the New York Times notices it, but the climate community has been backing away from a worst-case scenario peddled to the public for years as “business as usual.”

A drumroll moment was Zeke Hausfather and Glen Peter’s 2020 article in the journal Nature partly headlined: “Stop using the worst-case scenario for climate warming as the most likely outcome.”

This followed the 2017 paper by Justin Ritchie and Hadi Dowlatabadi asking why climate scenarios posit implausible increases in coal burning a century from now. And I could go on. Roger Pielke Jr. and colleagues show how the RCP 8.5 scenario was born to give modelers a high-emissions scenario to play with, and how it came to be embraced despite being at odds with every real-world indicator concerning the expected course of future emissions.

About those details mentioned a few days ago,

goes like this:
Dad had a serious health problem, followed by a couple of other things.  He's recovering well now, but I've had to make a few trips to help Mom out with stuff.  And mow.  Have to do it some more for a while, as it'll be a bit before he can take those over again.

And I've got a back problem which has made all this less than fun.  And that's not going to get much better for a while.  Hopefully the treatment I'll be starting will help.  We'll see.

So there's been little bloggage, and not much of anything else either; if I'd had a social life it would've suffered badly as well.

That's the background.  And now I will clear a few things:

Our idiot Senate, with a bunch of Stupid Party members going along, approved a UN ambassador

who doesn't like the US, does like the PRC, and thinks the US needs to apologize for our human rights record to places like the PRC, Cuba, Iran, and other such founts of torture and murder and repression.

I wonder if Biden had this idea, or it's his handlers shoving it through?

Without going into details,

Stuff to do, not enough time for everything, and the weather's not helping.  In the meantime, I will take note of this from that socialist US-hating clown Tlaib:

I agree with Miguel: Ok, we start this experiment with the Capital Police taking a month off.  No CP at the Capital or anywhere else in DC.  And the National Guard(who she hates anyway) all go home, and are not replaced with regulars.  And we'll see how that works out.

While on the subject of lying leftist clowns,

Self-announced Trained Marxist steals money from The Cause to buy fancy houses.  Lots of them.

Wonder if all the idiots who kissed her ass and followed her realize how they've been used?

And wonder if she'll have a defense for this, or just announce "This is an internal matter and none of your business."

Who's she think she is, Bernie Sanders?

A: If the US was the racist hellhole these asshats keep insisting, they would not have to fake 'hate crimes'

A Black student was reportedly responsible for racist graffiti discovered at Albion College in Michigan. According to MLive, on April 2, slogans such as “KKK,” “White Power,” and “Die N****rs Please!” were discovered in Mitchell Towers, a residence hall.

As a result of the messages, hundreds of students boycotted class and marched on campus for three consecutive days.

But who cares if it's fake!
However, the college insisted that “there is a significant history of racial pain and trauma on campus and we are taking action to repair our community.”

So: it's a fake incident to stir things up, but "Even though this is fake, we're going to use it to browbeat people into being- or at least acting- more woke!"
