but it's still cold out there. You know what that means

Hope he gets both ears and the tail,
because nothing else will make these corrupt bastards think twice about doing it again.
“Several students and colleagues considered Thompson’s apparent validation of non-liberal views to be ‘harassment’ and ‘dangerous,'” PJI wrote. “Instead of promoting academic freedom and critical thinking skills, the community college swiftly terminated Thompson’s employment due to the ‘immoral’ nature of his discussions.”
"You can't challenge students to think here, this is a college!"

Interesting result
from that .45-70 test: five rounds, 30 yards
I'm going to have to get a few more of these made up to try at longer range, just to see how it works out

Broward County: the Venezuela of Florida
I'd say the US, but that title is held by Chicago
"Court order? We're Democrats, we don't have to obey those."
And their defenders don't give a damn
Absolutely seriously, people need to go to jail over this. They've blatantly violated laws, ignored court orders, and it needs to stop.

Oh no, there's no way this could be abused for political purposes, noooo....
Delta State University, a public university in Mississippi, has a policy that states that students can be expelled if they “inflict mental or emotional distress on others.”
And guess who this'll be enforced against.
Another life screwed by a university playing "You're male, you're guilty."
Oh, this is amazing: Acosta is innocent because
Sunny Hostin said that the female aide at the White House committed “battery” against CNN’s Jim Acosta during President Donald Trump’s press conference Wednesday.
The comments came during a discussion Thursday on “The View” over Acosta getting his WH credentials revoked over what Press Secretary Sarah Sanders called “inappropriate touching” on the aide.

Is there any official group in Broward County that ISN'T corrupt?
And deserving of hanging?
This shit is flatly illegal. If the Stupid Party doesn't do everything possible to nail these people to the wall- and I mean criminal charges as well as other legal challenges- then the bastards should be flogged.

An experiment
Friend of mine is a nut about Brit firearms, and loves Webley revolvers. Short time ago he picked up a mold to throw a 255-grain hollow-base bullet like the last used in the .455. Helped run a batch of them, which shoot nicely from a Mark VI.
Idea occurs: wonder if these would work in a .45-70?
That's over a light load, ten grains of Green Dot, same as I've used with paper-patched 250-grain semi-wadcutters for the .45 Colt. We'll see how it works.

Matt Yglesia is a shitstain on the pants of humanity
And deserves to be treated as such.
Carlson’s wife said she thought the banging on the front door was a home invasion and then hid in a closet, but Vox’s Matt Yglesias tried to explain it all as if there’s any excuse whatsoever:

I think the idea behind terrorizing his family, like it or not as a strategy, is to make them feel some of the fear that the victims of MAGA-inspired violence feel thanks to the non-stop racial incitement coming from Tucker, Trump, etc.Which is followed by
I honestly cannot empathize with Tucker Carlson’s wife at all — I agree that protesting at her house was tactically unwise and shouldn’t be done — but I am utterly unable to identify with her plight on any level.I will stop now, because I'm getting really pissed.

'Bureaucrats who need to be flogged' for a thousand, Alex.
Banks are incredibly sensitive to any type of pressure from federal regulators, and they know that the regulators have enormous discretion. The new revelations are quite scary because they show exactly what federal regulators can do with that discretion – even to law-abiding citizens. As Rep. Luetkemeyer points out:
Call somebody a nazi apologist for quoting something stupid you out put in public. Yeah, that works.
The late Jennifer Lynch, QC, then head of the Canadian "Human Rights" Commission, used to talk about "balancing" free speech with other rights - and, then as now, "balancing" is code for nullifying: If your right to free speech has to be balanced with people's "feelings", then as a practical matter there is no free speech.
Yeah, she's a Democrat.
People who should be in jail for trespassing. But, surprise!, the DC cops are apparently nowhere to be found.
And the asshats at Twatter apparently have no problem with being used by antifa to promote hate and threats.

"White people are behind it all!"
If they actually believe this crap, they need keepers to prevent them running into traffic.
JFREJ, a radical leftist group, claimed that “white Christians” in Europe had “invented anti-Semitism”. That would have come as news to Pharaoh, Haman and Mohammed: in JFREJ’s parlance, “people of color” who had innovated and spread anti-Semitic ideas, while seeking to exterminate the Jews.
“Antisemitism was something European Christians created and brought to the Middle East within the last 150 years,” JFREJ insisted. There was no such thing as Muslim anti-Semitism, the leftist group, which collaborates with Linda Sarsour, a Farrakhan supporter who had urged dehumanizing Jews, insisted.
See what I mean?
Of course, it gives them a way to defend politically-correct racist assholes.
This November, Levison’s black leftist foster son, James Polite, was arrested for setting 7 fires in Hasidic Jewish schools and synagogues in Brooklyn. He also scribbled, “Kill All Jews” inside a lefty congregation.
Polite’s anti-Semitic vandalism broke up an appearance by Ilana Glazer, an obnoxiously unfunny leftist comedian, to rally turnout before the election. Polite scrawling, “Jew Better Be Ready” and “Insert Oven Here” got far more attention than the actual fires he set in more conservative religious institutions.
Gee, I wonder why?
Once again, the question arises: why the bleep do so many Jews side with people who want to kill them?

Well, I actually got a fair amount done the last couple of days,
just not the crap I wanted to do; like the ammo I need to load.
Now if I can get through the day without this incipient headache coming on strong, I can get some of that done today.
Now if I can get through the day without this incipient headache coming on strong, I can get some of that done today.
So the Evil Party has a slight majority in the House,
and lost seats in the Senate.
It's going to be interesting watching the poo-slinging monkeys demanding everything and either getting told 'No' by the Senate or, if it gets through, being vetoed.
I suspect being prepared for more violence by the antifa asshats is a good idea.
I've also been seeing some of the usual "Republicans want to keep people from voting!" from people who think showing an ID is horrible. Usually from people who think you should have to go through an anal exam to use one of your Constitutional rights, and have no problem with wanting everyone to have to have some kind of ID for- well, EVERYTHING. Hell, I couldn't get a library card without an ID and a utility bill with my name and address on it, but showing an ID to vote is voter suppression?

Professional Journalism
A reporter for a Michigan newspaper called Michigan Senate Republican
candidate John James’s campaign looking for an interview and thought she hung up the phone before leaving a voicemail saying “fucking John James … that would suck.”
...
“Man, if he beats her… Jesus! Fucking John James. That would suck! Whew I don’t think it’s going to happen though,” Battel continued.
Yeah, because .gov programs are SO efficient and affordable...
Jorge Ramos then asked specifically about several of her proposals. “Medicare for all, is it too expensive?” Ramos asked.
“No, people often say, like, how are you going to pay for it and I find the question so puzzling because ‘How do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent?’ You just pay for it. We’re paying more now.”
Remember, this socialist clown actually BELIEVES this.
Lots of teenagers are starting to take Mike Rowe's advice and look into the skilled trades. This is go- no, this is excellent. Not winding up to their eyebrows in debt while starting their life, actually DOING things and getting some work experience.
And, if they decide to go to college later, it'll be with all that behind them; they'll probably make a lot better choices about what field, and get a lot more out of it.

Election day
Go vote, even if you don't like either one of the clowns running. Remember, the bigger the margin of victory, the harder it is for them to cheat.
I'm not thrilled with the Stupid Party candidate for governor, but considering the Evil Party candidate has been wanting to follow his father into being Governor his whole life, and loved Clinton, and wants to trash the 2nd in every way possible... and that's in OKLAHOMA, for bleep's sake.

The Evil Party seems to have very little problem with Jew-haters.
Not Just Any Huddled Masses
Yeah, Soros is behind a lot of this. But for some reason the "Get the Big Money out of politics!" weenies on the left have no problem with his(or Steyer's, or some others) money.
That's one interesting way of saving people from the National Socialists

Seeing as the People's Republic of New York only has a 15%5% compliance rate (updated)
with the SAFE Act, I wonder what the rate would be in Georgia for this idiocy?
Update: after a question from Carl I did some checking: Vermont has a 10-15% compliance rate on theirs, for New York seems to be 4.5-5%. So, Georgia would be, say, 2?
