And Nancy Pelosi, being the shit she is, is currently insisting "WE are not responsible for what someone does with our words(but you on the Right really need to shut up)"  Because she's a truly sorry creature.

And a bunch of teachers, hospital types, 'educators' and others are finding out their employers have a real problem with them dancing in blood and celebrating a murder.  Which is fine: they're just wonderful with Kirk being murdered for talking to people, so they can't whine too much about being fired for doing the same, now can they?

This reminds me: had a friend who threw a party, and so it'd get used to people she let her boxer puppy run around.  Wood floors(veryimportant).
He ran over to me at one point, I started petting, and he flopped on his side.  So I put at hand at nech and butt and gave  him a good shove.  Slide across the living room, came to a stop, jumped up , ran back to me and flopped.  

About the fifth time she walked in, asked what the bleep I was doing: "Playing with the pup."  Not the kind of playing she approve of so into his cage he went.

Always got along with that dog.

One of the wonders of modern medicine

is cataract surgery.  Well, there's a thing that can happen in the years after that that causes a film to develop on the inside of the eye(no, can't remember the name).  It makes things blurry.  Which happened, it seems, right about the same time the stroke happened.

Which caused the weirdness in my eye to be attributed to the stroke.  Happily it wasn't, and there's a fairly simple fix: there's a laser they use to clean it up and clear your vision.  Which, at the last moment, as I was sitting solidly in place, having a nurse say "Sorry, my hands are cold" and put both on the back of my head.

Speaking of lost opportunities, I thought of saying "Not the usual reason I want a woman holding my head", but I didn't.

Couple of minutes later it was done.

Vision came back to normal in that eye.  But there are some tiny bits of the film that float around at times, just right to make you think a fly or something is buzzing around over there.  Which is distracting, but beats the alternative.

Just to add to the rage, some of the city council and the Mayor wanted the videos to be kept away from the public.  'For the sake of the families', with no mention that there's an election today with the Mayor running for another term.

That's been a major concern for a lot of people for years, those people and the stuff prescribed for ADHD and other things.  And it's a good question as to just how bad some of them might turn out to be.  Damned if anyone can believe what a lot of the pharma companies say, bad as a lot of their information has been on various things.  And, since the drugs used on transsexual cases are on such a protected species for the left, that could get real interesting.

We'll see.  As a general thing I hate the "This group cannot be allowed arms" idea, but this is a different thing: if it's the medications some are given that's screwing them up*, that's a different matter.


*I know, that's not counting the worthless 'counselors' and teachers in many cases who push kids to think "You may be the wrong gender, we can help with that and don't have to tell your parents!"  Said asshats need to be fired.  And the politicians and bureaucrats telling parents "If you don't support this, we'll take your kids away for their own safety" need to be dealt with as well.

Why do people cuss the Postal Service?

For one thing, their 'tracking' apparently means "We don't know where it is."

Package has been heading this way all week, 'delivery will be Sept. 6 by 9pm'.  At 9 last night it had 'reached the main city facility and was being prepared for delivery'.

Now, it says 'departed the St. Louis facility'- which is where it STARTED- 'early this morning'.  And there's no 'delivery by' date.  Which makes me think they either lost it, or messed up where it was/is, or flat don't know where the hell it is.

Yeah, they can be just bloody wonderful...
