yes.  But he seems to be right.
She says "I and my Veep candidate own guns, so obviously we won't confiscate yours!"
Well, bullshit.
She gives a variation on what I call the Fatal Words, which is when a politician says "I'm a gun owner myself, BUT.."  Which means yes, they want to make it as difficult and expensive as possible for people- at least the commoners- to buy and own them.  And she's talking a lot now about "I'm not for forced buyback confiscation(fixed it for her), but-"  Which means "I'm not talking about doing it now."

And we can't forget this wonderful statement which moves to how much she cares about the 4th Amendment:
...Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of YOUR LOCKED HOME doesn't mean we're not going to walk in and check that you're being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs...

Let's move on to her truancy program, which included
Like her truancy program, for instance, where she had state prosecutors go after parents of kids who missed more than ten percent of their school time. That sounds like a tough plan. Until you hear that they spent two years prosecuting a woman whose child was in the hospital for sickle-cell anemia who had voluminous documentation proving it, but they kept at her. Harris and her team needed the statistic for a win.

And now this is from the NYeffingTimes, not exactly a right-wing mouthpiece:

Consider her record as San Francisco’s district attorney from 2004 to 2011. Ms. Harris was criticized in 2010 for withholding information about a police laboratory technician who had been accused of “intentionally sabotaging” her work and stealing drugs from the lab. After a memo surfaced showing that Ms. Harris’s deputies knew about the technician’s wrongdoing and recent conviction, but failed to alert defense lawyers, ...a judge condemned Ms. Harris’s indifference to the systemic violation of the defendants’ constitutional rights.
