If you had any doubts that this shit was about control,
dump them.
Chemistry Professor Patanjali Kambhampati said he has been denied two grants over the past two years for failing to properly pledge allegiance to equity, diversity and inclusion.
Kambhampati was born in India. He grew up and was educated in the United States.
Since 2003, Kambhampati has successfully conducted cutting-edge research at the intersection of chemistry and physics as a member of the Department of Chemistry at McGill University in Canada.
...
“Initially, they started asking us to state our EDI position, which is a new thing,” he said. “The newer thing happened in the last one year where the federal agencies said we’re going to look at your EDI statements first and foremost. That will be the gatekeeper.”
If a researcher doesn’t write a satisfactory EDI statement, some federal funding agencies will not even look at the scientific merits of the work anymore, Kambhampati said.
"You WILL do and act and think as you are told, or your project goes nowhere. We don't care how interesting/vital/important it may be."
These people suck like a Hoover with a turbo, and they deserve half a helicopter ride.

They wanted these people really, truly,
all the way dead. Reading from some people with background, someone with at least a little training probably helped set this up.

Thinking that the Biden clowns would want to do anything about a Cuban activist being tortured and slowly killed
by the Cuban government... you've got to try to talk to the bastards, but you think these socialist assholes would do anything to cause a problem for the Cuban government?
Good. I hope she gets both ears and the tail,
because the only thing that'll stop this bullshit is some people paying a real price for it.

Whether Europe or Asia or Africa or the Americas,
people alter things to suit them. Whether the 'noble savage' idiots like it or not.
Speaking of, I found this in a book called '1491: New Revelations of the Americas before Columbus':
Every fall, he remembered, the Haudenosaunee set fire to “the woods, plains, and meadows,” to “thin out and clear the woods of all dead substances and grass, which grow better the ensuing spring.” At first the wildfire had scared him, but over time van der Donck had come to relish the spectacle of the yearly burning. “Such a fire is a splendid sight when one sails on the [Hudson and Mohawk] rivers at night while the forest is ablaze on both banks,” he recalled. With the forest burning to the right and the left, the colonists’ boats passed through a channel of fire, their passengers as goggle-eyed at the blaze as children at a video arcade. “Fire and flames are seen everywhere and on all sides … a delightful scene to look on from afar.”
Interesting book, worth reading

The legal profession: the swamp takes care of its own
A former senior FBI lawyer who falsified a surveillance document in the Trump-Russia investigation has been restored as a member in "good standing" by the District of Columbia Bar Association even though he has yet to finish serving out his probation as a convicted felon, according to disciplinary records obtained by RealClearInvestigations.
...
The move is the latest in a series of exceptions the bar has made for Kevin Clinesmith, who pleaded guilty in August 2020 to doctoring an email used to justify a surveillance warrant targeting former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Slimeballs, one and all.

Takedown on Daisy BB guns
Anyone know of anyplace with instructions? I've got an old one whose seals are shot and I'd like to try to fix it.
It's been beaten and battered by oathbreaking politicians and judges,
but imagine where we'd be if that Bill of Rights hadn't been there? Australia, anyone?

Holy crap, she's good.
If you haven't seen it before, or it's been a while, Weapon of Choice
And now, they call this a parody, but seems more of "This was so good, I wanted to do it myself!"
And did a damn good job of it

Something else I want to yell about, all the harm caused by the lockdowns and bullshit that was supposed to 'save' us
Atlas added that as a public health leader, you shouldn't make wild promises such as "I'm going to stop this one infection at all costs, without regard for all of public health."
"It failed, by the way," he continued. "But it also inflicted massive harm because you have to remember, we shut down a lot of medical care. It wasn’t just cosmetic surgery or something like that that was shut down. We had 650,000 people with cancer on chemotherapy. Half of them skipped their chemo just during the spring of 2020 out of fear. We had 85% of living organ transplants did not get done compared to the previous year. We had two-thirds of cancer screenings did not get done. These people still have cancer."
Atlas added that many people who put their chronic health conditions on the back burner during the early days of the pandemic, whether voluntarily or because hospitals were full, are now finding themselves sicker than ever.
"They’re going to come back with widespread, what’s called metastatic, disease. A lot of them are going to die," he continued. "We had massive increases in drug abuse, in spousal abuse, in child abuse. ... So this was a massive harm, and the harm, again, all the losses, we are almost on the verge of destroying a younger generation, by the way, we have a massive rise in anxiety disorder, in depressive disorder."
Atlas added that the mental health crisis in younger patients is a direct result of the lockdowns during the pandemic.
And none of the people involved, and most of the media, don't want to talk about this.
Larry Correia's wife found a lump in a breast, just as their idiot governor announced "No non-emergency medical treatment!" Which means no biopsy, and in possible cancer time is very important. Lots of people in the same boat across the country, and lots of people needing cardiac care as well. But apparently they don't count as important to these bastards.
These people, at the very least, need some actual reporters calling them out on this and not letting them weasel out of giving answers. Chances of that happening: you know the answer.

No, not much blogging lately. Still.
Lots of stuff to try to do, only so much time. And sometimes tired enough just want to sit. Like after yesterday. But I will mention this:
Screenshots of Brooks’ Facebook page, under his MathBoi Fly rapper handle, were mysteriously deleted right after the parade murders, and showed that he had praised Hitler, backed Black Lives Matter — and called for violence against white people.
“So when we start bakk knokkin white people TF out ion wanna hear it…the old white ppl 2, KNOKK DEM TF OUT!! PERIOD,” he wrote under his rap name, MathBoi Fly, along with a middle-finger emoji.
Brooks’ case has now become a cause célèbre, not in the mainstream media, which was slammed for initially saying the deadly attack was caused by “a car” that drove into the parade, but by an increasing chorus of influential podcasters like Joe Rogan and online pundits who claim Brooks and his victims in Waukesha have been “swept under the carpet” by the press because it doesn’t fit their agenda.
Damn right it doesn't, and damn right they want it to go away. Because so much of our media is slime that insists "We tell you the Truth!" while they're telling you only what they want you to hear, the way they want you to hear it.
The enablers aren't much better. "You have to get your news from one of these approved sources!"
"Why?"
"To be sure you hear the Truth!"
"You mean like these 'truths'(give a list of bullshit)?"
The response I loved most was "Those were from commenters, not from straight news people!"
A favorite:
"I was interested until I saw it came from Legal Insurrection."
"Is anything in that false, or inaccurate?"
"You can't trust news from a place like that!"
Because approved source is more important than facts.
