and a few of them prosecuted, as I think lying under oath is still a crime.
“The Federal government has funded, developed, and promoted entities that aim to demonetize news and information outlets because of their lawful speech,” the House Committee on Small Business found, adding that GEC “circumvented its strict international mandate” by funding private contractors with “domestic censorship capabilities.”
Not only did the Committee find evidence the State Department strategized to discredit reporting both by me and by Gabe Kaminsky of the Examiner (see reader note, coming), it also showed the State Department blazing new trails in the annals of “the dog ate my homework” chutzpah in response to Congressional oversight requests. “Despite the fact the Committee subpoenaed documents which it had been requesting for more than 14 months,” the Committee wrote, “State said it would take approximately 21 months from the date of the subpoena to produce these documents in full — around March 2026.”
Worse, when the Committee asked GEC for basic contractor information:
Categories were provided for several recipients rather than specific organizations or individuals, such as $240,136 for “Radio Programmes” [sic] and $42,600 for “On-Air Discussion…” In six instances, subawardees were just the first names of individuals… in one instance the field denoted “Report mentions subpartners; unable to find details…”
Etc.
And since there is a statute about 'contempt of Congress'*, Blinken needs time in a cell.
...As reported here at Racket and in the Examiner, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken responded with a remarkable letter. Complaining about Examiner reporting, Blinken declared that without a “better understanding” of how the Committee planned to “utilize this sensitive information,” he would only release information in an “in camera setting.” Even in camera, however, the State Department claimed lost records while submitting answers of the “We spent money on discussions and stuff” variety.
*I know, chances of it actually being used on one of these bastards: just about zero; that's to be used on us peasants, y'know.

Seems Biden got off the 'prompter and told a truth
President Biden admits that the 'Inflation Reduction Act' was not actually about inflation after he started ranting without the teleprompter.
Holy sh*t.
Biden said the Inflation Reduction Act was actually about funding Climate Change efforts and said the Act should have actually been named something different.
He's being honest, back then he knew if he called it what is was, it would not have passed.
He and every one of the bastards who did this... he's already gone, but all the rest should go too.

If you haven't heard the head of the USSS's excuse for not having someone on that roof,
oh, it's a winner:
'That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there's a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a sloped roof,'
The screaming from vets and actual peace officers, not to mention bodyguards who aren't effing screwups, was deafening when they read that. Not to mention the other sniper teams who were on sloped roofs, but you can't let that get in the way of your excuses.
She then announced "The buck stops here, but don't expect me to resign, I'm doing great!"(or something like that)
A law enforcement official told the channel said that no action was taken after one of the snipers first spotted Crooks looking up at the roof of the building in Butler, Pennsylvania , just 130 yards from where the president would speak.
The sniper then radioed to a command post after seeing Crooks take out a rangefinder.
But no further action was taken before Crooks reappeared a third time, this time wearing a backpack and disappearing from sight as he walked to the back of the building.
A further radio report relaying the information was submitted by the sniper team who did not realize that Crooks was now scaling their building.
'Their building' because they were securing it from the inside...
Throw in the EffingBI having said they found out who he was from DNA(and I wonder if that was a real slip that they're regretting), and now playing "We have no idea of the motive" when they're not going through the social media they copied before they made it go away(you doubt it? Really?) But don't worry, their investigation will be professional, thorough, and will be sure to tell us what they want us to hear when it's done. Say, sometime two years from now.
Any wonder more and more people are deciding it couldn't just be incompetence, that this had to include some "Let's let him/someone have a shot at Trump"?

Guy who shoots two cops turns out to be an illegal alien,
suspect in other crimes, and with an illegal gun. In NYeffingCity. Why am I not surprised?

Yeah, there's enough TDS out there that they'd want him murdered in jail. And I think they'd delight in the shitstorm that happened after because "It shows how the insurrectionists and Trumpists behave!" or something. The level of stupid out there is incredible.

Jury selection has started in the Hunter Biden trial for a firearms offense that would've had an average someone in prison a long time ago. Assuming the feds bothered to investigate or prosecute it.

The other day AP had a story about how terrible it is that he's being pursued for being a Biden, and how hard this will be on Pres. Gropey, and how terrible it is that the plea bargain was thrown out last year, etc. With no mention that the part of the bargain that got it thrown out was "If he does this he cannot be prosecuted on any other charges." Somehow that escaped their attention. Amazingly. I'll include the link in case you want to get further pissed at the media.

"House Speaker vows to retaliate", etc. Tell you what, guy: when you actually DO IT, I'll believe it. Until then you're just one more noisy politician who won't do a damn thing.

Because many of their 'leaders' sold out a long time ago,
and the Evil Party made it worth it to them.
Here's part of it, the whole thing with an illustration is here.
This is hysterical, check this out. After getting caught plagiarizing and lying about a bunch of things in 1987, Biden dropped out of the Presidential race. He was asked about claims he made about being an activist for civil rights and he came clean, admitting that none of it was true.
Years later he resurrected the lie and in 2012, while speaking to the NAACP, Biden claimed that he would go to "Reverend Wright's" church before heading out to desegregate movie theaters.
In 2014 Biden replaced Wright with Reverends Moyer and Holloway. Both Reverends were asked about Biden, neither remembered Biden ever coming to their church.

First, when a politician lies this much and publicly on such an easily checked matter,
say, their record of what they did with the lockdown bullshit, you know they're worried about the blowback.
Second, don't trust the public schools. Because they'll lie and then try to hide/destroy the evidence of what they're doing to your kids.
Third, I've heard about some of the racism in Hawaii before, here's a bit more of a rundown on it.
And now, I'm to get a shower and ignore the magic box for a while.

In what used to be fairly free Canada,
The chair of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission says a federal bill would give it power to regulate user-generated content, such as homemade videos posted on YouTube.
But Ian Scott predicted at a House of Commons committee that this would never happen as the broadcast regulator has no interest in overseeing content produced by individuals.
Even so, critics of the online-streaming bill have seized on his remarks, saying they contradict assurances by Heritage Minister Pablo Rodriguez that it would not give the regulator power over homemade content, such as cat or cooking videos.
Bill C-11, now going through Parliament, would update Canada’s Broadcasting Act and give the CRTC power to regulate online platforms such as YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify and TikTok, along with traditional broadcasters. It would make digital platforms promote Canadian content, including films, music videos and TV programs, and contribute financially to their creation.
So, is he lying or stupid?

Given: Occasional-Cortex is a screeching drama queen. Now, the question is
Is she just lying to keep herself in the news and slander people, or is she actually stupid enough to believe this crap?

Him being a standard-issue "He'll lie to get into office, then he'll do what you want!" politician isn't either.

So how many other cities/counties/states are lying about the numbers?
From Fox17:
Emails between the mayor’s senior advisor and the health department reveal only a partial picture. But what they reveal is disturbing.
The discussion involves the low number of coronavirus cases emerging from bars and restaurants and how to handle that.
And most disturbingly, how to keep it from the public.
Hey, how can you convince people you're saving them(while destroying businesses and lives) if they know the truth?

While Gov. Blackface and most media are losing their minds over a rally
that's happened every year for a long time with no problems(and Gov. Blackface may well have violated state law with his emergency order), and hinting or outright stating that the gathering is a bunch of National Socialists(the better to slime them), they mostly don't seem to have much to say about this clown still working(last I heard) for the Sanders campaign.
Of course, the good Sanders guy was only talking about going all Soviet on anyone guilty of BadThink, and a lot of the media would have no problem with that.

Supporting my colleagues’ call on Senate Majority Leader to vote on H.R. 8, 1112 & 1158.
Gun violence is an epidemic.
Every day on average 500 people die from gun violence. How many more lives will we let gun violence claim?
Let's see... 500 times 365 days is 182,500. Actual number of homicides involving guns:
On average, there are approximately 30 people killed in the U.S. per day from gun homicides.
Expect the usual Professional Journalists to parrot her numbers without question.

Well, Feinstein's a lying, corrupt politician;
you expect anything better of her?
Even if Feinstein had in mind a broader definition of school shooting, it is hard to see how she could get to "hundreds" involving "assault weapons." By her own count, 385 people were killed with "assault weapons" from 2004 through 2011 (which is about 0.5 percent of gun homicides during that period), and the vast majority of those murders did not occur in schools. If we assume that something like 16 percent of them did (in line with the Mother Jones numbers), that would be 60 or so murders involving "assault weapons" at schools over eight years, and the number of separate incidents would be even lower. It is difficult to escape the conclusion that Feinstein was just making shit up when she referred to "hundreds of school shootings using assault weapons that have taken place in recent history."
'Making shit up' is what the anti-rights people do. You could say it's their central principle.
