Saturday evening has arrived,

along with new data.

The head of the EffingBI says

“nothing in this report impugns the integrity of our workforce as a whole or the FBI as an institution.”  Because... arrogance? Stupidity?  Refusal to admit?
Surely the most jarring revelation here is the text exchange between Page and her adulterous lover, top investigator Peter Strzok in which Page texts: "[Trump's] never going to become president, right? Right?!" and Strzok responds, "No. No, he won't. We'll stop it." This, as the IG writes, "is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate's electoral prospects." No kidding.

And here's the mind-boggling thing. The exchange is a revelation because, when congressional investigators finally managed to wrench these texts out of the clenched fist of the Justice Department, Strzok's full response was redacted. It was only revealed in the IG's report.

For what possible reason were these words blacked out other than an attempt at cover-up? There is no other plausible explanation.
You add up all the Very Special Agents and supervisors and Directors using their position and power to play political games and you get a helluva lot of integrity problems.  Throw in
“We identified numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters.” FBI agents received “benefits from reporters” as well, including golf outings, drinks and meals.
But the bigshots reaction is "We got no problems."

Other day I told somebody that if the EffingBI and DoJ actually cared about honor and honesty and integrity they'd take this as a chance to seriously clean house, but I didn't think they'd take it.  Sometimes I hate being right.

"We have to do something! is either stupid or an excuse

for another way of screwing people.  Enter the Evil Party and the BATFE:
What's a politician to do when it's clear that people will vigorously resist attempts to restrict their lives? Well, you could empower government officials to arbitrarily punish anybody who might help them exercise their freedom. That's the approach favored by three Democratic members of Congress, who appear to see the path to limiting private firearms ownership in harassing gun dealers and subjecting them to the whims of government officials.

Not that they're the only legislators to wield regulations as bludgeons, but it's always a lousy idea.
Brought to you by the same kind of asshats who thought Gunwalker was a wonderful thing, and blamed 'Racism!' and 'You don't CARE!' for the criticism of it.

June in Oklahoma: hot, humid, and

good for sitting inside and studying

So, the IG report comes out

and, among the dancing around on "We can't PROVE political reasons for this and this and this", we've got a load of shit that ought to cause the EffingBI to be cleaned out.

Picking a few,
FBI Agents Lisa Page and Peter Strzok Texted About Stopping Trump.

Comey Concluded That He’d Let Hillary Off In Spring 2016.

The DOJ and FBI Changed The Law To Exonerate Hillary.

On that "We don't think there were political reasons" crap,
Comey Revealed The Reopened Investigation To Congress Because He Thought Hillary Was Going To Win, and He Wanted To Preserve Her Legitimacy. This is what the report explicitly says: “we found that his decision was the result of several interrelated factors that were connected to his concern that failing to send the letter would harm the FBI and his ability to lead it, and his view that candidate Clinton was going to win the presidency and that she would be perceived to be an illegitimate president if the public first learned of the information after the election.” Comey didn’t speak with anyone at the DOJ about releasing the letter.
If that's not political, what is?

And one of the crowning pieces of bullshit from the EffingBI,
According to the IG report, “We identified numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters.” FBI agents received “benefits from reporters” as well, including golf outings, drinks and meals.
"Hey, I've got access to this information(which I probably shouldn't) and there are people who'll give me things for passing it along!"
Isn't that called 'bribery' or something when plain old citizens do it?

This is a bloody mess.  Know what'd make it worse?  If Clinton had won, and all this EffingBI and CIA and whoever interference in the election came out after.  You want to talk about people screaming for blood?  Literal blood?

Head of the sacred Bureau better do some serious housecleaning if he hopes for his precious agency to have any credibility and trust left.

Rocket howitzers, where have I read that before...

"The XM1113 uses a large high-performance rocket motor that delivers nearly three times the amount of thrust when compared to the legacy M549A1 RAP," Ductri Nguyen, XM1113 Integrated Product Team Lead.” "Its exterior profile shape has also been streamlined for lower drag to achieve the 40-plus kilometers when fired from the existing fielded 39-caliber 155mm weapon systems."
And adding this to the new gun... more than 40 miles max range.

True

Forty-Five Things I Learned In The Gulag

Amazingly, none of them involved 'Socialism, Comrade!'  Except for the beatings and deaths and disease and....

Speaking of socialism,
* According to Gallup, Venezuela is now the least safe place in the world, having tumbled below Afghanistan in the rankings. Only 17% of Venezuelans say they feel safe walking alone at night.

* Polio has re-emerged in Venezuela, 30 years after it was declared extinct there. The country’s health care system is verging on non-existent, as hospitals not only have run out of medicines, in some instances they don’t even have running water.

* Venezuela is said to have more proven oil reserves than any other country, but its socialist government can’t keep the petroleum flowing, as pretty much everyone who is competent enough to do so has left the country. As a result, Venezuela’s oil exports are heading toward zero.
But I'm sure someone will be along to assure us that this isn't REAL socialism.

How do you know this is a stupid effing idea? First, it came from the Berkeley City Council.

Second:
“Reversing global warming and restoring a safe and stable climate requires an emergency mobilization to reach zero greenhouse gas emissions across all sectors at wartime speed, to rapidly and safely drawdown or remove all the excess carbon from the atmosphere, and to implement safe measures to protect all people and species from the consequences of abrupt warming in the near-term,” the resolution claims.

To accomplish this, “requires an effort to preserve and restore half Earth’s biodiversity in interconnected wildlife corridors and to humanely stabilize population,” the resolution claims.
Think about that, they actually think 'zero greenhouse emissions' is even POSSIBLE...

And this:
"...must substantially curtail use of fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions on behalf of the larger planetary community to enable a rapid, just transition to a stable climate.”
Ignore them thinking we can control the climate, what the HELL is a 'just transition'?

On second thought, I don't want to know, I can't spare the brain cells it would probably kill.

British cops yank a guy's firearms license because

'People on your YouTube channel say unapproved things, making it a Forum of Extremism'. But they have no problem with a bunch of actual terrorism supporters marching.

They do, however have a big problem with a guy in a wheelchair blocking the terrorism-support march.
“These people were supporting terrorists. We had to object and not give them a free pass. These are our streets. The Government were allowing them a free rein, we had to stop them. I thought I’d challenge the Police to see if they had a legal basis to stop me exercising my freedom to protest. They said they had an order blocking the street. I asked to see it. They looked flummoxed.”
Of course they did, one of the commoners actually demanded proof of their authority to do something.

Much like the 'cops' in Berkeley, the Brit cops have been letting the protected species do just about whatever it wants; wonder if they're ready for the reaction they're helping cause?
The response can only be direct action. This action must be based on the most fundamental moral principle: reciprocity. That which you do to me, I will do to you. We will not attack you, but we will resist you. If our speakers are shouted down, yours will be shouted down as well. If you hold a protest on Holocaust Memorial Day, we will hold one on your sacred occasions. If you host antisemitic speakers, we will block the doors with our own bodies. If tuition fees pay for antisemitic groups, Jewish students will refuse to pay them. If you disrupt our events we will eject you, by force if necessary. If you boycott us, we will see to it that you are boycotted. If you hold an Israeli Apartheid Week, we will hold a Palestinian Terrorism Week. If your mob attempts to vandalize our institutions and neighborhoods, we will raise our own mob to stop you. We will hit back if we are hit. Reciprocity, after all, is accepted as a legitimate principle for all other peoples. It only becomes worrisome, problematic, unprincipled when the Jews are involved.
Of course, this is something Berkeley and some other places would be worried about if they had brains.  Because if you let one group attack and threaten another and refuse to do anything, well, there's just likely to be an equal and opposite reaction.

'Wild West Britain'...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
As if the average wild west town would've stood for this crap.
A masked gunman shoots his victim at point-blank range at dawn on a quiet residential street in the most shocking image yet from 'Wild West Britain'.

Seconds later the gunman had fled the scene in suburban Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, in a van.

It is just one more sickening incident in a wave of violent crime sweeping the country.

There have been 74 killings in London so far this year - many of them stabbings - and at one point the capital's murder rate was higher that New York's for the first time.

The latest victim was a man in his 30s who was stabbed to death in Haringey on Saturday night.
The Brit cops will throw you in jail for having a pocketknife, and seize your gardening tools, but for some reason they don't seem to have much effect on all this.

'Course, there are some clues:
Also yesterday a schoolboy appeared in court accused of seven robberies in an hour-long spree in London while on the back of a moped.

The 14-year-old allegedly punched one victim in the head to get him to hand over his smartphone.

He was remanded into the care of Haringey Council but will live at his parents' home under curfew.
Yeah, that'll put fear into him.

By the way, considering the number of them used in crimes, wonder when they'll make the decision to ban mopeds?

Short version: "How dare someone actually fight us

and win?"
She says, “ordinary people don’t have the money and the government comes in and takes their land away. And it makes me feel bad because this guy is rich enough to fight it.”
Also  known as 'How you know your city government needs cleaning out.  Probably with a flamethrower."

(formerly Great)Britain: "We're going to screw you peasant.

And the excuse is someone else's words. But if you grovel and change your behaviour enough, maybe we'll do it a bit later."

The kind of crap the left would love to be able to do here.  Think Schumer or Pelosi would hesitate to push the Firearms Licensing Authority to do the same here to anyone who made a comment/published a comment that gave them an excuse?

Remember an officer named Bateman

who insisted he was a death-planning weapons expert who wanted to help take arms from our dead hands?  Well, his successor has been chosen by the anti-rights people, and her name is Becky Margiotta.  Who bases her expertise in "You commoners should not be able to own these guns!" on statements like
Following graduation from West Point, I commanded two Special Operations companies – small forces structured to complete the most physically and politically challenging missions. Multiple times a year, year after year, we underwent recertification on the weapons that were most central to our mission. Going to the range was treated with the utmost of gravity and military discipline. There was no joking around on the range. Every single round of ammunition was accounted for every single time.
Slight problem(one of many): I don't know a lot about military setups, but I damned well do know that a new officer fresh out of West Point is NOT given command of a company.  Let alone a SpecOps company.  Two of them?  A whiff of bullshit is in the air.

Mentioned this on bookface, and two people with serious military experience- well, let us say they called it as not a whiff, but a full-out chemical weapons-level stink of rancid shite.

So this is a face Watts/Bloomberg & Co. will be pushing as 'Another veteran who says "I'm and expert and I say ban these!" '
