Few days ago it was nice enough
to get out the lead pot and, using the formulae provided by Taminator, change the 30-1 and 25-1 to 15-1. And then cast some bullets.
So I've got some more to use now, and some pounds of alloy ready to use. Get another nice day and the time, I need to take a bunch of the pure and alloy it appropriately. I think I've got enough tin to do about half of it, then I'm going to have to get more.

Trust? The EffingBI and the DoJ?
Page: Have a meeting with turgal about getting iphone in a day or soStrzok: Oh hot damn. . . We get around our security/monitoring issues?Page: No, he’s proposing that we just stop following them. Apparently the requirement to capture texts came from [Office of Management and Budget], but we’re the only org (I’m told) who is following that rule. His point is, if no one else is doing it why should we. . . I’m told – thought I have seen – that there is an IG report that says everyone is failing. But one has changed anything, so why not just join in the failure.
I'd say the proper word isn't 'cavalier', it's 'corrupt'. And what we've come to expect.
What we've also come to expect: unless there's one helluva lot of pressure, not a damn thing will happen to the people behind this crap.
And it doesn't help when the idiots/malicious in Congress make it easier for the bastards by letting them keep using FISA to screw with us. My Senator's one of them: when I wrote about this, he insisted that the bill reauthorizing it 'has strong safeguards'. Yeah, just like the ones the corrupt ignored in the previous version.
To say I'm sick of this shit, would be a huge understatement.

"The roses look wonderful!
What's your secret?"
A man who describes himself as a shy and helpless romantic at heart, a former mall Santa Claus, is now an accused serial killer who, Toronto police allege, buried the skeletal remains of his victims’ dismembered bodies in the bottom of outdoor planters and flower pots.
Parts of more human bodies may be hidden in planters or gardens at homes throughout Toronto. No one knows exactly which ones.

I didn't know OSU had so many whiny bitches attending.
Police union heads and elected officials are calling for a probe and an end to the practice.
“We need to do a full investigation,” said City Councilman Eric Ulrich (R-Queens), a member of the Public Safety Committee. “It’s an insult to the people who do work for the NYPD.”
Tell you what: you stop letting people get away with stuff because they have the card, and there won't be a damned problem anymore.
New dinosaur found in Egypt.
Assuming they can find anyone in the upper reaches of the EffingBI and DoJ who isn't a corrupt political hack, they need to replace the whole leadership in both places. And a bunch of the minions.
If they can't find anyone? Bring in outsiders who don't give a rats ass about 'protecting the reputation of the agency'.
All those laws in those Bloomberg & Brady-approved paradises don't seem to be working out real well.
Except for the bad guys; they don't have to worry about their victims being armed.

I still don't watch political speeches, so I didn't see it;
from what I'm hearing from people who don't like Trump, apparently he kicked ass. And Democrats. And, as someone put it the other day, "This speech will not be given by Hillary Clinton, so the state of the Union is GREAT!"
Interesting piece on Jewish support for the Evil Party, includes this:
So here’s the question I began to ponder after poking around the Blitzer family tree. What would make Wolf Blitzer decide to shit all over the memory of his Holocaust-survivor father, for no other reason than to push for the U.S. to be flooded with unskilled immigrants? Why is that so damn important to the guy, that he’s willing to dishonor the memory of the man who raised him?
This is a low point for leftist Jews. I would argue that this may indeed be the lowest point that any leftist Jew has ever managed to reach. Because, as sacred as the Holocaust is to the average Jew, and as sacred as Holocaust survivors are to the average Jew, apparently you can spit on the grave of a Holocaust survivor if by doing so you make it easier for a Mexican drug dealer to wreak havoc north of the border.
I want to know what all's in that memo, if only because even the threat of it being released is causing leftists to lose their minds. And stuff like this keeps coming out:
The inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, has been asking witnesses why FBI leadership seemed unwilling to move forward on the examination of emails found on the laptop of former congressman Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) until late October -- about three weeks after first being alerted to the issue, according to these people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive matter.
A key question of the internal investigation is whether McCabe or anyone else at the FBI wanted to avoid taking action on the laptop findings until after the Nov. 8 election, these people said. It is unclear whether the inspector general has reached any conclusions on that point.
And this on the "The messages disappeared, we can't possibly retrieve them!" crap:
A former FBI special agent, who worked extensively on counterterrorism related cases, stated they were "dumbfounded" by the FBI's original excuse that the text messages were irretrievable.
"Even though the servers 'lost' the text messages of Strzok they would still be on his actual device, even if he deleted them," stated the former FBI special agent, who asked to speak on background due to the sensitivity of the case. "That's how we catch bad guys, we forensically search their phones. Nothing disappears off the device, nothing... unless they take a hammer to it or microwave it. The question is, the FBI knows this, so why did the bureau say they couldn’t retrieve them -- why did they mislead Congress."
Well, you've got two choices: trying to cover-up their actions, at least enough to buy time, or(in some cases) misguided clowns following their programming to try to protect the sacred Bureau from more bad publicity. Or a mix of both. Either case ought to lead to people being fired at the least; I'm pretty damned sick of LEOs- especially high-ranking ones- getting away with crap that would put a plain old citizen in a cell.
One gripe I've heard about releasing the memo is that it might damage the possibility of prosecuting some of the lawbreakers. I don't know if that's really a worry or not; I do know that if it causes enough people to blow up and kick the ass of their congresscritter to actually get something DONE about it, it might be worth if.

Dammit! I just found out
someone made a stuffed honey badger that, when you squeezed its paw, made appropriate comments!
And they don't make it anymore...
And they don't make it anymore...
There's trouble in Obama-worship land
Faculty at the University of Chicago have joined a growing chorus of
Chicagoans voicing alarm and anger over the planned Obama Presidential Center, set to be built in a sprawling historic park in the south side
of the city.
Wanting to take over the park, plus the costs and other problems. One of the 'We'll fix it' ideas is to make the parking an underground garage; I wonder how many millions that'll add to the price?
How'd it happen? Besides the general 'abuse of authority because we hate Trump' crap? Yep: they figured they'd get away with it, and be rewarded for doing it. Hell with a few people resigning, if there's not a MAJOR cleaning-out of both the EffingBI and DoJ, they'll just be papering over the problem and telling people "You can't trust us."
One of the Joe Leaphorn novels, he's reflecting on working with the FBI and thinks that there's only two things that'll really get an agent in trouble: doing anything that brings even a tiny bit of bad publicity to the Bureau, and having an original thought. From the evidence of the past while, the 'bad publicity' part wasn't a big problem anymore, as long as you were doing it for the right political party.

Pretty soon we just might be singing "Another one bites the dust"
FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was forced to resign Monday, just as the House Intelligence Committee is expected to vote on the public release of a classified memo this afternoon revealing extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse under the Obama administration, sources told this reporter.
Seems to be some argument between 'forced' and 'retired'. Considering the level of crap we know he's been involved in, if it was 'forced' it's because the current Director hoped to start trying to limit the damage. If so, too damned late, dumbass.
Current and former FBI officials said McCabe’s resignation is the beginning of more resignations to come.
That would be good, but best would be 'resigned just before their arrests'.
“There are people lining up in the bureau to go after McCabe,” said a former FBI official, with knowledge. “There will be a clean up at the Bureau of his cronies.”
A: I'll believe it when it happens.
B: What about all the OTHER corrupt bastard's cronies?

More I read about Jordan Peterson, the more I like him.
This asshole is a teacher. Wonderful.
Standing firm on the principle of supporting constitutional rights such as free speech and due process, one will invariably be called the nastiest words the SJWs can muster, the worst of which is Trumpkin. After all, that’s what any heretic who fails to confess their sins and succumb to the overwhelming emotions of the progressive scolds must be. It’s infected colleges. From there, society. And that includes the law.
Never forget: we're a moving target in the biggest shooting gallery of all.
Why? Because both ladies are on the wrong political side; therefore the 'feminists' would happily see them destroyed.
Crap. Is this "A really odd occurrence" or "Oh, crap, who turned it back on?"
Sounds like a bunch of officers need to lose their rank. At the least.
And now, I'm tired and need to clean up and fall over.

Yesterday was Holocaust Remembrance Day
And it needs to be remembered. It also needs to be subtitled 'Remember that it was Socialists who did this'
