Seventh night has come,

and taking care of that matter is a lot more fun than what I really need to be doing, so let us enjoy something to distract from weather and difficulties

Something the Stupid Party did carry through on,

releasing lots and lots of the Jan. 6 videos.  Including this one at the start of the 'insurrection'.

I'd imagine some defense attorneys and convicted are going to be looking through these, and some appeals filed.  I hope this is a bigger nightmare for the Do'J' and others than they'd feared.

It's been a while since I had to worry about this, but I do remember the feeling

Tell me you're a bunch of incompetent educators- and probably racist- without actually saying it

Currently, most students must pass Regents exams in English, math, science and social studies, he writes. Some retake the tests four or five times to earn a passing score, and critics say the requirement "may have led more low-income and Black students to drop out."

Betty Rosa, the state education commissioner, said the state wants to tackle graduation “through the lens of students” who have faced barriers in “access and opportunities.

In short, rather than try to improve students' mastery of reading, writing, math, science and social studies, educators want to make it easier for those who can't pass the exams to get a diploma.

Which also takes the pressure off of teachers to actually teach.  At least in places where they're actually allowed to teach, but don't bother.

And they wonder why homeschooling and other than public schools have gotten so big.

Professional Journalism, BBC style

The BBC apologizes after a presenter falsely claimed that Israel was targeting medical staff and Arabic speakers during its operation at Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital.

“This was incorrect and misquoted a Reuters report,” the UK broadcaster later says. “What we should have said is that IDF forces included medical staff and Arabic speakers for this operation.”

Another sixth has rolled around

And another collection has been gathered.  So,

I may not be able to smith much anymore, but I still like reading about discoveries

like this.
A study and excavation led by University College London (UCL) and published in the Journal of Archaeological Science, found evidence of chromium steel production in Chahak, southern Iran, dating back to the 11th century.

Up until the discovery it was widely accepted that the practice was a 20th century innovation made in the West.

Our various ancestors were not stupid(that they didn't die and we're here is some of the evidence), and produced a lot of things.  For instance, after reading about part of the Anglo-Saxon method of making a sword in England, I've said "If you asked them about carbon migration they wouldn't know what the hell you were talking about, but they could use the idea to help produce fine blades."

History.  You wonder just how much we do not know.

It seems a lot of the young anti-Jew/anti-America protesters have discovered bin Laden,

and think he's just wonderful.

Promoted by TikTok(surprise!  PRC connections, gee, I wonder why they'd promote this?), and
"Palestine, which has sunk under military occupation for more than 80 years. The British handed over Palestine, with your help and your support, to the Jews, who have occupied it for more than 50 years; years overflowing with oppression, tyranny, crimes, killing, expulsion, destruction and devastation," bin Laden alleged.
is music to the ears of the idiots.  Of course, since he hated Jews and the US.

Isn't it just freaking wonderful?
