I'm too tired and beat up to do anything except move on

to the 6th evening visual aids.

Bound to happen: when a lot of your city hates all the cops and wants to get rid of them,

the bad guys will take notice.

If only the damage could be mostly limited to the leftist idiots who caused the problem

One of the fun things about having had a serious back problem:

"Oh God, I hope this is just a strain/pull, and not something that'll involve injections!"

I'm just going to dump some news

Starting with "When he's in the hospital, how is Fetterman helping introduce legislation?"
His chief of staff won't say anything, all he's doing is blocking people on Twitter who ask, and putting out 'this ugliness from the right' pablum.

This reminds me of the last 'vote' by Robert Byrd: they rolled him onto the Senate floor in a wheelchair, his head bouncing around like a bobblehead doll, and he gave the Party the 'vote' they wanted.

That  horrible clown prosecutor in St. Louis may actually pay a price for all the damage she's done.  It won't be enough, but it would be something.

"Let's lower the passing level for the bar exam!  Then we'll get more diversity in lawyers!"  You'll also get lousy lawyers, but you don't care about that.

Why so few reproduction historic guns?

And that's all I've got time for

A bit of clearing

Some bears have become knowledgeable

And these weren't just mistakes, they deliberately lied to us

long after they knew these things were bullshit.

Some of them are still lying, because they really don't want to face the music.

And some of them deserve not just being fired, but being prosecuted for lying under oath.

I'd heard of some dams having a 'drowning machine' just downstream, but this explains

just why.

When February decides to play nice for a few days,

but you can't enjoy it much.  Because the knee, for some reason, has been hurting like hell at times, and you did something and your back hurts if you're not careful.

Dammit.

I need to remember this

How stupid are people? This stupid.

A 34-year-old Michigan man was reportedly arrested after calling police to report a prostitute he’d paid $10 was refusing to honor their agreement.

The unidentified solicitor called Saginaw, Mich., cops shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday to complain a 24-year-old prostitute, who was present when police arrived, had reneged on her alleged vow to perform a sex act of an unspecified nature, according to Michigan Live.

But wait! There's MORE!
...However, both parties arrested were out on bond related to home invasion charges, Michigan Live reported.

Apparently the Marines haven't been teaching much about that Constitution thing they swear to uphold, or

this is another example of 'higher' education as much of it currently sits.
Marshall University professor Chris White said the bill doesn’t have enough safety measures in place. Formerly a Marine Corps infantryman, he referenced months of training that military and police officers go through “to earn that Second Amendment right and carry those weapons in public.
Apparently, at the least, White has no actual idea what a right is.

"Why, that's a conspiracy theory!" "From the Dept. of Energy?"

"Uh..."
The U.S. Energy Department has concluded that the Covid pandemic most likely arose from a laboratory leak, according to a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress.

The shift by the Energy Department, which previously was undecided on how the virus emerged, is noted in an update to a 2021 document by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines’s office. . . .

The FBI previously came to the conclusion that the pandemic was likely the result of a lab leak in 2021 with “moderate confidence” and still holds to this view.
...
U.S. officials declined to give details on the fresh intelligence and analysis that led the Energy Department to change its position. They added that while the Energy Department and the FBI each say an unintended lab leak is most likely, they arrived at those conclusions for different reasons.

The full article is paywalled, this is from an excerpt at Instapundit.

So, what would get you shut down on Twatter and Fecesbook, and still causes problems at the latter, is now "Yeah, this is probably what happened."  Along with various medications and treatments that were 'misinformation' , 'conspiracy theory', etc., are now admitted as good treatments.  Not to mention admitting that natural immunity is at least as good protection as the 'vaccines'.

And they wonder why people don't trust them anymore.

One of those things that drives me up the walls at times

While back had a couple come in and ask about buying a revolver for their home.  Little talking and some questions brought up that they'd bought a S&W M&P 9mm a few months before, so why did they decide to look at revolvers?

Because it would be faster to load if someone was breaking in.

??

Seems a 'helpful' friend had told them that if you leave a magazine loaded for very long, it would ruin it.  So they thought they'd have to start loading the magazine when there was trouble...

They were shocked to find out their friend was full of crap(more gently put), and all they really needed was to bring this S&W in and shoot it to get used to it.  Oh, yes, seems they'd not yet fired a shot through it.  In large part because they didn't want to wear it out.

There are times I could stand to find the people still pushing this line and whack them over the head with something heavy.
