Oklahoma City now has an ordinance requiring the wear of fetish masks

under penalty of fine.

I think the mayor and every other control freak on the council should become unemployed as soon as possible.

Hot, humid Friday

At least the  new information can be studied inside where it's cool

Buy stamps

Less than 48 hours later, cannot find stamps.

Since not going to buy more when I know the damn things are here somewhere, do something other than mail.

Eat lunch.

See stamps laughing at me from a place I DAMN WELL KNOW I LOOKED TWICE...

Lots of first-time gun buyers, and as a bonus

a lot of media seem to refuse to note that the riots by leftists have anything to do with it; oh no, it's all the fault of the Wuhan Lung Wrack.

Place I work part-time, LOTS of first-time and  "I had a gun years ago and sold it/gave it away, but now I need one" buyers.  And the beginners classes and CCW classes, and the guys who do private lessons, are slammed.  Which means not only "I want a gun" but " and I need to know how to use it."

Lots of politicians are crapping their diapers over this.  Both because of the sales and training jumps, and because all those new buyers(in some states) are finding out just how stupid the laws are and- the big one- they're not likely to take it quietly when the anti-rights people tell them "You cannot be allowed to own this."  Plus one more feed-in:

Well, a range day was planned

but due to it bloody raining again, plus something else, that's off for now.

This time of year, one of two things happens: either the occasional storm or line of them blowing through, usually with lots of thunder and so forth, or nothing for weeks on end.  This time there's been thunderstorms, plus enough light stuff in between that the ground and grass doesn't quite dry out, which makes mowing a pain.

Other news, the final followup on the cataract surgery is over; all healed up as should, new prescription, new glasses ordered.

Things go to hell, they do it fast,

and you can't count on single shots stopping the threat; some threats take multiple hits to stop coming at you.

Dear Eezox: What the hell?

I'm running low, so looked up their website to order it.  And there's no way to 'add to cart'.

Check Amazon: no 4oz cans, 'We don't know when or if this will be available'.

Nobody else has them, either.  And a quart bottle is not only more than I want to spend, but would outlast my life.

This 'block the road, scare people to death, and loot the vehicles' crap continues,

there will be a lot more cases like this.
Videos posted online show what happen next with the driver pulling away through the blocked traffic when the protesters began banging on the truck with firearms, and unknowingly dragged a protester nearly 5-blocks before stopping. The protester was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Nobody wants to be the next Reginald Denny.  And when these idiots like to take video of their actions and then try to claim that it shows them as victims...

The leftist whines "They were only checking on him,

they thought he was sick!"
When you're wearing a mask and open someone's door, you're asking for exactly this.  At the least.

More of this, please.

Scene from the range

with what I wanted to say:
"Yes, the range rules say it should be unloaded when you bring it in.  THAT DOESN'T MEAN PULL IT OUT AND START UNLOADING IT AT THE COUNTER, YOU MORON."
