You get tired of the automatic 'Here's how much you should tip' crap

if/when you eat out somewhere?  Here's even more reason to be pissed:
“This is the next step with the ‘add a tip’ option on the kiosks & checkout pads. Shake Shack’s kiosk demonstrates what happens when you don’t have a printed menu, but instead the kiosk displays what the computer is programmed to do. It asks for a ‘tip’, and if you chose ‘zero’, it increases the price of every item ordered by $0.50. As he notes, the kiosk in this case put up a pop-up noting the ‘price adjustment’, but how many kiosks are programmed to do it in the background where you will only see the total?

“I note it is Shake Shack, but have to believe that other vendors will do the same thing as long as they feel they can get away with it.”

Probably.

Kim tells about a local place he and his wife like.  Well, a Five Guys burger place opened up here.  Good food, but expensive.
Ways down the road is a local place called Patty Wagon that makes quite good burgers, and a bit less expensive.  And it's one of several, according to daughter.  As she put it "It's hard to start a 'Big Fancy Chain' place when there are local places that have been here for years that are at least as good, and less expensive.

Yes, Blogger did it again on that clearing post

I probably ought to do what the Feral Irishman did, because I'm sick of this crap.
They won't tell you what part of it 'violates standards'
They won't tell you any way to ask about it.
All you can do is get rid of something, republish it, and wonder if they'll approve.
It's a PITA.

I've been buying movies on disc for the last few years, not a whole bunch but

one I actually like, I get it.  Books, the same, and any electronic books I back up offline, because Amazon plays games just like these bastards with games and movies.

Physical media when you can, because you cannot trust these companies.

'The Story of an Industrial Flop'

In this case MRNA vaccines.  Which is doing real damage to vaccines in general, and trust in the public health clowns.
This signals the end of an era of pharmaceutical innovation marked by arrogance, huge expenditure, wild risk taking, decades of skullduggery, and experiments on the population that will go down in history. Jay and RFK deserve congratulations for finally codifying the fate accompli, but the verdict had already been rendered by the public.

The public has long been skeptical of these injections. Even in the summer of 2021, I gave a speech in which I improvised an unexpected laugh line about how governments are always claiming to do good things for us while forcing on us things we don’t want. Listing taxes, public radio, foreign wars, and inflation, I included mRNA injection.

The crowd went wild. Of course this was a time of intensifying mandates in all sectors. People were forced to get a shot they did not need or want, and you could feel the outrage growing. Whole cities were segregated by vaccine status. Students were being kicked out of school and professors losing their jobs too. Even nurses who had risked it all and gained natural immunity were forced to inoculate themselves.

It was the same summer in which the people’s favorite COVID vaccine, the one-and-done produced by J&J that used a different method of delivery, was pulled off the market by none other than Anthony Fauci. It was part of a long effort to boost one method of delivering immunity (mRNA) over every other option.

Which makes me wonder just how rich Fauci became in this.
I'll also note that the one time my doc tried to talk me into getting a Wuhan vaccine, he specified the J&J vaccine.

More on the studies here.

There really are people, both in .gov and private businesses, who need to be in cells over this, and it wouldn't hurt people's feelings if some of them wound up on a rope.  Like the bastards who pushed to have children be required to take this garbage.

A quick note on Fecesbook

You try to log in.
'Check your notifications on another device'.
In the past there's been a 'try another way' option, now that doesn't even come up.
Find another device and check.
NEVER ANY NOTIFICATION.
Now, rarely, 'the 'try another way' bar shows, except it doesn't work.

I truly don't know if it's Fecesbook("This site is shit", L. Correia) being effed-up, I wound up on one of their lists for saying unapproved things, or both.

I miss being able to see stuff from certain people, but otherwise?  Screw the censorious bastards.

Looks like Gina Carano may get Disney to trial,

and I hope she's awarded both ears and the tail.
"Under those two cases, Disney said that the state can’t force employers engaged in “expressive activity,” — in Disney’s case movies and TV shows — to convey its message through speakers like Carano who allegedly impair its ability to properly express its values, which it said include respect, integrity and inclusion."
Disney's been expressing its values a LOT, without being slowed down by Carano or good sense.  Which is exactly why the company is on the rocks.  And firing her because she refused to list her pronouns on line... the whiny bitches who had a fit should've been told "This was on her personal account, and we're not firing someone for that."
But that would've required Disney to have some balls and integrity.

Speaking of the oozing sore on humanity's ass known as Fauci,

He and a bunch of other people have so much to answer for...
THE Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) monitored 2,000 pregnant women for adverse reactions post covid vaccination rollout, but have refused a Freedom of Information request to release the data. They admitted last April that they had it but cited the exemption that they planned to issue a report. They have still provided no publication date for the information recorded during the first six months of 2021.

Although birth rates had dropped before the covid pandemic and before covid vaccination, there is evidence that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein can damage the ovaries and testes but made no statistical difference to the birthrate. It was only nine months after vaccinations were offered to pregnant women that a decline began to show.
(me: No SHIT?)
...
Government began pushing experimental covid vaccines to pregnant women before any of the jab manufacturers had completed reproduction toxicology reports or started trials in pregnant women. Thousands of women could be infertile thanks to these injections, while thousands have reported that they suffered miscarriages and stillbirths because of them.
Yes, some of this is hearsay; when government agencies are making excuses to NOT release information, can you say 'suspicious'?

Read it all, I'd suggest

Let's start this with Wuhan letting a bunch of people pull their control freak out

The World Health Organization’s Dr. Hanna Nohynek testified in court that she advised her government that vaccine passports were not needed but was ignored, despite explaining that the COVID vaccines did not stop virus transmission and the passports gave a false sense of security. The stunning revelations came to light in a Helsinki courtroom where Finnish citizen Mika Vauhkala is suing after he was denied entry to a cafĂ© for not having a vaccine passport.

Google doing more evil.

Considering the things they've been caught at, he's not wrong about the EffingBI

Speaking of, I found out both my Senators and my Rep. in Congress voted to let the warrantless search crap- with extended powers!- continue for two more years.  And, considering these rat bastards, I doubt they'll ever actually try to stop it.
No, I haven't been yelling at them yet.  Partly because the urge to tell them exactly what I think of them is so strong, and because they've demonstrated it won't do any good.  I now find myself in the situation that voting for these bastards would, in far too many ways, just be voting for the leftists, because said bastards don't have the guts or desire to stand up on really important things like this.
Oh, I'm sure they'll have some "We had to for national security!" excuse for their abandoning that oath to uphold the Constitution, and I've not got the stomach to listen to it right now.

The 'Internet of Things': Spyware and security leaks,

including from the car company to your insurance company.

Not long ago my insurance said that if I opted to install their 'driver safety box' in my truck it would probably lower my insurance.  Which sounds nice, but when you look at the information you find you're installing a tracking device that will tell them when and where you go, how fast you drive, if you brake or accelerate 'unsafely' or 'unnecessarily'- by their definition-  and so forth.  Screw that.

Few years ago daughter gave that a trial on her car, to find that she was an 'unsafe driver' according to the box.  Oh, that braking?  She was backing out of a parking space when some clown came shooting down the lane and she had to brake hard to avoid a crash, and the damned box beeped at her.  So you can't win, and you let them track you everywhere.

The MS society is playing "See, we're making it right,

so keep giving us lots of money!"
For those who don't look at X/Twitter,
After doubling down a couple of times saying that they were correct, they apparently faced a massive backlash that threatened their revenue stream. So now they’re contrite.

This isn’t an apology. It’s a plea forget what they did so they can get back to business as usual.

It’s no different than a person in court telling a judge how sorry they are, and expecting this “apology” to make it all go away.

When they change the leadership across-the-board that allowed this to happen in the first place, and put specific, written protocols in place to prevent it from happening again, then that’s a real apology.

Until then, donate to another organization.

(As a sidenote, I cofounded a marketing agency that represented several national nonprofits. I know how they work. They haven’t learned anything other than to do a better job of hiding their actions the next time, so they don’t provoke such a fury).

Apparently I've really pissed off someone at Fecesbook

Won't tell me 'wrong credentials', just recycles the sign-in page.  Won't even let me set up a new account.  So either I'm blacklisted, or it's just really effed up right now.

Yes, it's Fecesbook, and run by assholes and idiots.  Still helps stay in contact with some people.  Which makes this a real PITA.

Yeah, that sounds like how the 'elites' see us commoners

If you see a relentless campaign in the next few months to demonize ketamine use, do not underestimate the pull of a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate that was just humiliated by "six people from the bus stop." That's how JHACH's attorney, David Hughes, described the jury. That's the level of respect they have for you, John Q. Public.
It's an article about medical use of ketamine, and how the death of a celebrity has been blamed on it and doesn't mention all the other stuff he was taking, for some reason.

A few borrowed images

And I posted this one on Fecesbook, and it was almost immediately yanked because 'supported violent groups'

Added: turns out Fecesbook doesn't like the MeToo one, either, because 'sexual content'.

Fecesbook is run by effing idiots.

How do you know for fact a company is run by idiots?

When they say crap like this, it's a good indication.
...Benzinga notes slyly that the grassroots boycott that has led to the unprecedented consumer abandonment of Bud Light is hurting the common man: “This seismic shift in popularity jeopardizes the livelihoods of the 65,000 people whose economic well-being is intricately tied to Anheuser-Busch InBev’s success.”
Oh yeah, "Start buying our product again or we'll fire people(no executives, of course, but peasants like yourselves)!" is a real winner.

It would seem that if you have a credit card(or probably anything else) with Bank of America,

you might want to get rid of it.  At least if you give a damn about privacy, security, and not wanting a bank that has a nice fascist partnership with the feds.
An FBI whistleblower told congressional investigators that the D.C. field office pushed local offices to open criminal investigations into Americans based solely on financial transactions Bank of America tracked and voluntarily provided to the bureau, according to testimony reviewed by The Federalist.

“Bank of America, with no directive from the FBI, datamined its customer base,” whistleblower and recently retired FBI supervisory intelligence analyst George Hill told investigators for the House Judiciary Committee, according to Hill’s testimony.
...
According to the material reviewed, Hill testified that on either Jan. 7 or 8, 2021, Bank of America provided the FBI’s D.C. field office a “huge list” of individuals who used Bank of America credit or debit cards in D.C., or the surrounding Maryland and Virginia areas, on Jan. 5, 6, or 7, 2021. Bank of America then elevated to the top of the list anyone who had ever (through Jan. 6, 2021) used a Bank of America product to purchase a firearm.

There was no geographic or date-range limit to the search for firearm purchases, Hill stressed, meaning the individual would be flagged at the top of the list had he “purchased a shotgun in 1999” in Iowa, and used a Bank of America credit card to check out of a hotel on Jan. 5, 2021, in the Northern Virginia area, following a trip that could be completely unrelated to the Capitol riot on Jan. 6.

It appears the Boston EffingBI office actually refused to open cases based on this, and held to it.  No telling what other offices said "Screw that Constitution thing we swore to uphold" out and did.

No telling if anything will come of it, but a real truth commission to investigate

what these bastards did would be nice.
A respected medical scientist whose accurate analysis on COVID-19 was improperly censored during the early days of the pandemic says the federal government and Big Tech played a "malign role" and placed public health at risk by colluding to create a false picture that all Americans faced the same risk from the virus and needed to follow identical mitigation strategies.

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford University medical professor, says he is now working with other scientists who were silenced during the early COVID-19 debate to build momentum for a "truth commission" on the failures of public health officials and identify the questions that Congress needs to answer so America doesn't repeat such failures in future medical crises.

"What Big Tech did essentially I think caused tremendous harm to the American people," Bhattacharya told the "Just the News, No Noise" television show Wednesday night. "I suppose that if we had had an open and honest debate in 2020, 2021 about school openings, so many of our kids wouldn't have missed a year and a half or more of school, wouldn't have had the learning loss, wouldn't have had the lifelong harm done to them that we did with these lockdown policies."

A bunch of people need to become unemployed at the least.  And if they can't be criminally charged, I'd guess there's a pretty good chance they could be sued.  I can hope, at least.

One last thing: some people at Pfizer need to be given a subpoena

and told "You don't show up, or you lie under oath, you'll be behind bars."  And then DO IT.
In an undercover video released by Project Veritas, he discusses the possibility that hitherto unknown aspects of mRNA technology in the COVID-19 vaccine could affect women’s hormonal and menstrual cycles.

Dr. Walker said, “There is something irregular about the menstrual cycles. So, people will have to investigate that down the line.”

“The [COVID-19] vaccine shouldn’t be interfering with that [menstrual cycles]. So, we don’t really know,” he said.

He also said in the video, “I hope we don’t find out that somehow this mRNA lingers in the body and like — because it has to be affecting something hormonal to impact menstrual cycles.”

“I hope we don’t discover something really bad down the line…If something were to happen downstream and it was, like, really bad? I mean, the scale of that scandal would be enormous.”
