Saturday night,

and yes, it's available

From Correia dealing with some idiots on Fecesbook,

If you think making health care more affordable and available by 'cutting out the middleman' means having the BIGGEST MIDDLEMAN OF ALL, THE GOVERNMENT, take over,

you really didn't think that through.

Borrowed from Insty:

As Walter Russell Meadwrote in 2017:
If Trump were the Manchurian candidate that people keep wanting to believe that he is, here are some of the things he’d be doing:
Limiting fracking as much as he possibly could
Blocking oil and gas pipelines
Opening negotiations for major nuclear arms reductions
Cutting U.S. military spending
Trying to tamp down tensions with Russia’s ally Iran.
“Yep,” I noted in December. “You know who did do these things? Obama. You know who supports these things now? Democrats.”

Cold out there, but nothing frozen or drippy falling from the sky

so not bad for late February.  Still good for indoor studies

Let us speak for a moment of how screwed Fecesbook is,

and how vile some of Zuckerbitch's minions are:
Courtney Ballard got a sixty-day stretch in Fecesbook jail for a valentine he sent his wife.

FOUR YEARS AGO.

Other people have had bans for things almost that old.  Yet pages that are full of hatred of Jews, of conservatives and libertarians?  No problem.

And Californicated just keeps rolling on down the slope

Gig workers and independent contractors are screwed, know it, and they're not happy.  The idiots behind this, especially Gonzalez, keep greasing the slope.  And now,
On Tuesday, Assemblymembers Lorena Gonzalez (D–San Diego) and Christina Garcia (D–Bell Gardens) introduced Assembly Bill (A.B.) 2389. The bill would require adult entertainers and video performers, including webcam performers, to obtain a business license and complete a state-mandated training course before being allowed to ply their trade.
Because "You must be properly controlled and listed, for your own good!"  Etc.

And yes, that's the same Gonzalez behind the AB5 "You can't be independent, you must be an employee!" idiocy.

It may just be me, but when I drove away from my old truck

I felt like I was abandoning it.  Or should at least do something formal for a goodbye.

The new vehicle did have the manual with it;

the thing is 500 pages due to the size and format.

I'm still reaching for a shift lever at times(probably for some time to come), but I have most of the buttons and functions figured out.

All the stuff that's standard, that not long ago were expensive options...

Of course he does; dickheads like him ALWAYS claim disaster will follow

when they don't get what they want.

One of the nastier bills the wannabe tyrants(and Bloomberg puppets) in Virginia

wanted has been stopped, but that still leaves the rest of them.
When the bill failed to pass, cheers erupted and some, including law enforcement officers, stood up in celebration.
I suspect enough of the politicians believed the voters that 'Sign this and you're gone' to stop this one; the others think all that Bloomberg money will keep them in those taxpayer-supplied seats.  And I would bet that a bunch of LEOs cheering the defeat didn't help their mood.

Another reason for that near-lifelong loathing of politicians

"Yes, I'd give you the choice of giving up your guns or going to prison/dying, but it's not confiscation because I'd give you some money so you won't feel too bad about it."

Having obtained a new-to-me vehicle,

I now have to figure out every damned function built into it.

Why is it that some idiots can't take the time to pull their target down

and put it in the trash, but they'll pick up their brass and throw it in a trash can?

So the Dept. of 'Justice' won't prosecute McCabe

They can make all the 'We couldn't get a conviction because-' excuses they want, at this point I consider it swamp creatures taking care of one of their own.

It's also the Do'J' throwing away any remaining reason why anyone should trust them.  About anything.

Have a Nagant revolver?

Want a case of ammo for it?

Trying to distance yourself from the guy who founded and financed you

because now he's being called names by a bunch of your friends: priceless.
That’s a laugh. Everytown isn’t independent from Bloomberg. He’s the founder, serves on the board, and is the national chair of the gun control group. It’s his organization. It wouldn’t exist without him. It’s also never been about gun safety. Well, let me take that back. It’s about gun safety, but only in the sense that Bloomberg’s definition of gun safety is “don’t own a gun.”

Call this at least a small step forward

Court To Cop: We Don't Need On-Point Precedent To Deny You Immunity For Killing A Dog That Couldn't Hurt You

I hope they nail him for everything he's got.  Just maybe the message will get around.
