The problem with news from (fG)Britain is similar to that from Iran:

the .gov and it's approved 'news' sources greatly effect what gets out, leaving various other means of people getting information.

Covering the current mess

I have, remember the fall I told about?  Well, it tore up the rotator cuff, which leads to, in a few days, I'll be having surgery on that shoulder.  Which will mean very little if any bloggage for a while, as doing all this one-handed is fun.

I'll be shutting off comments during that time to simplify upkeep on this place.
