A variety of shooty stuff, starting off with good customer service from Remington
A priming problem on some of the shells.
Some cases may have had a scratch from the forming die that caused them to split on firing(Wow! I hadn't seen any of those; if I had, I'd have really freaked).
So they not only answered me, they did serious tests and found the problems. And they're making it right. Good for Remington.
Ran a little over 100 rounds through the 15-22, no failures or problems: so far, so good.
A while back I lucked into a clearance at a store on Limbsaver slip-on recoil pads and got one. I took it and the 1903 Springfield and some ball ammo along: that is the best recoil pad I've ever used, well worth their price(the regular, at the clearance worth well over what I paid).
The M1 Garand continues to function well with the cast-bullet loads. I've decided that until I can mount a scope on it, I'm going to have to call the sometimes-iffy accuracy at 100 yards my fault; I'm just not as good with iron sights as I used to be.
A while back I picked up some of the Yugoslav 8mm heavy ball ammo, and tried it out today; that stuff's not bad at all. Recoil is definitely heavier than with light ball, I'd not like shooting a whole bunch of it in one day.
And I still love that Martini Model 12; it's one of those guns that make it easy to shoot well.
Remember the chicken Rep. Tim Ryan(Democrat Socialist-OH)
UPDATE: The town hall wasn't the only cancellation for Brave Sir Ryan this week:
About one dozen protesters. many of them carrying signs, was apparently all it took to cancel Congressman Tim Ryan's appearance at the Youngstown Community Health Center Tuesday.
A spokesman for Ryan said there were security concerns, calling it "obviously a significant issue."
Although spokesman Pat Lowry mentioned no specific threats being made at the event, he also said that wasn't the only reason Ryan was a no show.
Yesterday happened to have Hannity on while driving home
He insisted that Lewis, the clown claiming racial insults were thrown at him, 'would not lie' about something like that, so he believed it happened; when pressed on "The whole things on video and it isn't shown anywhere, and there's a damned reward for anything proving it and nobody has claimed it" the response was "Well, it HAD to have taken place off camera." Translation: "Unless you can prove a negative, it happened!"
Second, that we weren't giving Obama credit for 'opening up areas for oil drilling' which proved "You won't give him a chance!" Nazzo fast, Guido:
The Obama administration is proposing to open vast expanses of water along the Atlantic coastline, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and the north coast of Alaska to oil and natural gas drilling, much of it for the first time, officials said Tuesday.
'Proposing'. NOT 'opening up for exploration and drilling', 'proposing'. Which means nothing, especially from Obama. Also, wasn't it Obama & Co. who placed huge areas off-limits? Wasn't it they who cancelled some permits last week? But for a 'proposal' we're supposed to give him credit and trust? Yeah.
Third, "I can't believe you call him a socialist!" Let's see, wants total government control, Biden and Sharpton saying it flat-out, communists and socialists as friends and advisors, etc.... I can't believe you can say "He's NOT!" with a straight face, clown.
Was only a matter of time before leftists made it official

Maybe we need billboards with "These are the Cowardly Democrats"
Yeah, when 'anyone/anytime' means "With an audience who'll kiss my ass, not ask nasty questions I don't want to answer."Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) canceled a town hall on the new healthcare law Tuesday because of concerns about the security of the event.
The congressman’s office cited safety issues at the facility where the meeting was to take place and threats to his office, according to a report by News21.
“We just thought it best to cancel it for safety concerns. This was not meant to be a place where we’re going to talk partisan politics,” Pat Lowry, a member of Ryan’s staff, told News21. “Don’t get me wrong, Congressman Ryan will debate anyone, anytime.”
The cancelation comes a week after many lawmakers received threats because of their votes on the healthcare measure.
And
Far Left Rep. Russ Carnahan is now banning bloggers from his public meetings.
Of course, this is the same guy who sneaks SEIU thugs in through the side door.
It’s all about priorities.
There've been others, and there'll be more; miserable little twits, aren't they?

No, the National Socialist Democrats don't like it
Rep. Steve Driehaus (D-OH) is upset that a handful of protestors peacefully demonstrated, against his vote for Obamacare, outside of his home. He says “I understand people are going to criticize my decisions – I’m an elected official – but my wife, my kids, my neighbors are out of bounds.”
As my friend Mark LeBar points out to me in a private e-mail (quoted here with Mark’s permission): “Interesting that Rep. Driehaus himself doesn’t take my wife, my kids, my body, or anything else about me, to be ‘out of bounds’ when he legislates. It’s all up for grabs in the legislative process; there are no bounds to what he is entitled to impose on me through force.
Ah, but he's a Rep. of the NSDP; he's SUPPOSED to be able to control your life without you giving him any real static.
His Party says so; if you do, it's hate speech.
This is one of those "Was looking here, which led to this, which led to..."
But one post marked a turning point. A vegan flushed out his idea to keep animals from being killed—not by humans, but by other animals. Someone should build a fence down the middle of the Serengeti, and divide the predators from the prey. Killing is wrong and no animals should ever have to die, so the big cats and wild canines would go on one side, while the wildebeests and zebras would live on the other. He knew the carnivores would be okay because they didn’t need to be carnivores. That was a lie the meat industry told. He’d seen his dog eat grass: therefore, dogs could live on grass.
No one objected. In fact, others chimed in. My cat eats grass, too, one woman added, all enthusiasm. So does mine! someone else posted. Everyone agreed that fencing was the solution to animal death.
Note well that the site for this liberatory project was Africa. No one mentioned the North American prairie, where carnivores and ruminants alike have been extirpated for the annual grains that vegetarians embrace. But I’ll return to that in Chapter 3.
I knew enough to know that this was insane. But no one else on the message board could see anything wrong with the scheme. So, on the theory that many readers lack the knowledge to judge this plan, I’m going to walk you through this.
And she does.
Yeah, my dog eats grass. She also kills and eats birds she catches in the garden. And if she ever gets that squirrel... That there are people out there who actually believe a carnivore like a lion or leopard can just switch over to greens and survive is- that's so friggin' stupid there are no real words for it.
On the other hand, while the Big One might be excessive,
I'd like to ask a question of any Jews who happen to read my stuff: any idea why ANY Jew would give support to groups who carry signs like this?
And this?
And I do have to wonder if these morons have any understanding of the iron of this?

And WE'RE the 'violent, threatening' ones, yeah.
To California:
The passage of health care reform has focused attention on Washington, but the significant and expensive burden of implementing key provisions of the law now falls to individual states, and officials in cash-strapped California say it will cost the state billions of dollars a year.
Much of the federal reform is built upon expansion of Medicaid programs - California's is called Medi-Cal - to people who previously did not qualify. States across the country are poring over the federal law and crunching numbers to determine how it will affect their budgets.
If these clowns expect you to believe they NEVER saw any of these problems coming... of course, this IS Californicated; they may actually be that stupid.
"We believe Congress has to account for the fiscal reality of states today if Medicaid is going to be sustained and expanded and serve as a foundation for reforms of tomorrow," said Kim Belshé, secretary of the state Health and Human Services Agency.
In case you haven't noticed, Moron Belshé, the current Congress, on the National Socialist Democrat side at least, doesn't give a rats ass about that fiscal reality you speak of.
Belshé said she and the administration of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger support the aims of the health reforms, but emphasized that California already has had to make deep and difficult cuts into health services. Some lawmakers have accused the administration of shredding the social safety net.
Chris Whatley, Washington director for the Council of State Governments, said expanding Medicaid was essential for winning passage of the bill in Congress, as it was the least expensive option for the federal budget.
"It was essential to cover the cost of the bill," he said.
'Cover the cost' my ass.
But he noted that doing so now means states will lose the ability to adjust eligibility requirements to save money in tough financial times, which is a common practice, and that could mean education and other state services like prisons would be hit harder by budget cuts.
I repeat, you wanted this: you got it, asshole.
Two last things I'll point to:
"We look forward to working with states to help ensure they have the tools they need to help insure more Americans," said Nicholas Papas, a spokesman for the department. By 2020, the federal government will cover 90 percent of the cost of those who newly qualify for Medicaid.
Translation: "We look forward to looting every wage-earner in the country with this as an excuse."
and
"What concerns me about how the governor has approached this is he sees Medicaid as a burden rather than a huge opportunity to bring in federal funds for our health system and our economy," said Anthony Wright, executive director for Health Access California, which lobbies for expanded health coverage.
Translation: "He doesn't seem to understand that this is a chance to get the feds to commit armed robbery across the WHOLE NATION and give us some of the money they steal!"
The only thing causing me to hold off on wishing for that Big One is
The NSDP isn't meeting in Californicated, and
It would screw over the honest people and legal citizens in the state.
I do wonder: if the whole damn place slid into the Pacific, would whatever clowns CA has in the House and Senate still be whining for more money?
So Associated Press, the sold-out media organization
Andrew Breitbart raised the stakes by offering a reward of $10,000 to anyone who could prove a Tea Partier shouted the "n-word". Despite the dozens of video cameras on the scene, no one has yet claimed the prize. Next, the Associated Press attacked Breitbart in a "news" story, saying that he has no proof that the incident didn't happen. In response, Breitbart has now raised the reward to $100,000.
And nobody has tried to claim it. Gee, I wonder why...
A bit more info on the latest Trentadue case revelation
And the same ruling by U.S. District court judge Clark Waddoups showed the CIA assisted federal prosecutors in the cases they built against Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols. The ruling last week in Salt Lake City came in the FOIA challenge made by Jesse Trentadue, an attorney who has been in a long struggle to get government documents regarding the 1995 death of his brother Kenneth in the Oklahoma City Federal Transfer Center.
Jesse Trentadue sought a dozen documents from the CIA and Judge Waddoups ruled they were considered 'national security' and would not be made available to the public. It was the first such national security defense ever used by the government in denying records to Trentadue.
...
The judge's ruling constituted the first documented involvement of the CIA in the handling of the investigation, either before or after the bombing that killed 168 persons. Does it mean there was foreign involvement in some manner in the bombing or the investigation?
There's a list of twelve exhibits Trentadue wanted to see, general 'this exhibit involves' information.
Every time something new comes out, every time there's another "Well, what have we here?" moment, this crap gets that much more involved. I'm beginning to agree with a line from a Garrett novel: "This thing couldn't get more tangled up if it had three wizards involved."

Volcanos and idiot judges and
The undersea Marsili, 3000m tall and located some 150km south-west of Naples, has not erupted since the start of recorded history.
It is 70km long and 30km wide, and its crater is some 450m below the surface of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
"A rupture of the walls would let loose millions of cubic metres of material capable of generating a very powerful wave," Prof Boschi said.
"While the indications that have been collected are precise, it is impossible to make predictions.
"The risk is real but hard to evaluate."
Oddly, this thing is not listed on any volcano map I could find; may look a bit more later. For now, if it went you could figure on the whole west coast of Italy getting washed along with Sicily and Sardinia and- well, probably most of the Med coast.
Idiot judge:
Lawyers for the father of a Marine who died in Iraq and whose funeral was picketed by anti-gay protesters say a court has ordered him to pay the protesters' appeal costs.
On Friday, the Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit ordered that Albert Snyder of York, Pa., pay costs associated with Fred Phelps' appeal. Phelps is the leader of the Westboro Baptist Church, which conducted protests at the funeral of Snyder's son, Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder, in Westminster in 2006.
Lawyers for Snyder say the Court of Appeals has ordered him to pay $16,510.80 to Phelps for costs relating to the appeal, despite the fact that the U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to review the Court of Appeals' decision.
Rep. Stupak(Vile NSDP Bastard) & Co. are looking for their payoffs, all the while saying "No, NOTHING to do with betraying the people we represent."
Good grief! I'd think that much of that ammo might sink the boat by weight alone!
The coastguard vessel reached the pirates as they were 255 nautical miles northwest of Mahe, heading towards Somalia.
Mr Morgan said the pirates ignored the coastguards' audio calls to release their hostages and did not alter their course when warning shots were fired.
"We took the decision to open fire on the engine compartment, 10,000 12.7mm rounds were fired ... and we continued our harassment operation until we achieved what we wanted, which was to set fire to the engine," he said.
Mr Morgan said all on board had to jump off the boat but nobody was wounded.
I wonder if they might have miscounted the number of rounds fired. Or if they're just that lousy a shot.(thanks to Theo for the link)
Awright, Sen. McCain, are you going to pull your head out of the Amnesty ass
A longtime rancher was killed on his Douglas-area property over the weekend, and neighbors worried that his homicide was connected to increasing border-related crime in the area.
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office offered little information into the late-Saturday shooting death of 58-year-old Robert Krentz, whose family began the Krentz Ranch more than 100 years ago.
Krentz’s body was found on his land, which is about 35 miles northeast of Douglas, just before midnight Saturday, said Carol Capas, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office.
Anybody who thinks this was NOT related to the God-damned illegal aliens and smugglers is a liar or a fool. Maybe both.
Anybody expect any real action from Obama and the Amnesty Rangers on this?
Me neither, it would interfere with his desire to give amnesty to every illegal here and every one that can sneak in.
Random note from the fair
Me: "Heck, a taser would do that."
Glare: "You are such a guy."
When it comes to real death threats, you just can't beat a Obama supporter
On the front of the Globular Warmering bullcrap,
Confirming work by other scientists using different methodologies, they found dramatic short-term variability but no longer-term trend.
A slow-down - dramatised in the movie The Day After Tomorrow - is projected by some models of climate change.
...
The satellite record going back to 1993 did suggest a small increase in flow, although the researchers cannot be sure it is significant.
"The changes we're seeing in overturning strength are probably part of a natural cycle," said Josh Willis from Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in California.
"The slight increase in overturning since 1993 coincides with a decades-long natural pattern of Atlantic heating and cooling."
Ooooh, natural cycles! Isn't that just amazing?
In other AGW corrupt politicians news,
Lord Oxburgh, a member of the House of Lords who was appointed ‘to chair a scientific assessment panel that will examine the published science of the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia,’ has links to businesses that would benefit financially from low-carbon technology: he is chairman of the Carbon Capture and Storage Association and the wind energy company Falck Renewables.”
Bastards and their True Believers keep claiming all 'deniers' are bought-off by Big Oil and such; wonder how they'll explain this newest bit of corruption?
Quick Medieval Fair report

Weather this year: Windy as hell and cool Friday; Saturday started beautiful and then around noon went cloudy, wet, cold and windy; Sunday somewhat windy and cool to chilly up until afternoon, when it warmed a bit.
Kind of nice to actually see the whole place, although it was really weird to walk past the empty spot where I used to be set up.
Curiouser and curiouser
A decision handed down Friday by U.S. District Judge Clark Waddoups in Salt Lake City rejected attorney Jesse Trentadue's Freedom of Information Act request for 12 CIA documents. The judge says they are legally exempt from disclosure.
But the decision says affidavits by the CIA summarizing the documents' contents indicate the agency was working with the Department of Justice to prepare for the prosecution of McVeigh and co-conspirator Terry Nichols.
Heard something about this on KTOK, but their website doesn't have anything on it.
And the illegal aliens are once again demanding special consideration
Some worry illegal immigrant parents will keep their kids out of school for fear of being deported.
"Their intent is to kick them out using their kids. They're going to hurt the kids and go through them to depart the parents," worries Franco Cevallos.
On the other hand, the bill's supporters say their goal is far from sinister.
"We just want to see how much money is being spent on people who are not citizens of Oklahoma," said Rep. Sally Kern.
The bill passed through the house by a comfortable margin earlier this month.
Well, guess what? You're here illegally, you SHOULD be worried about being thrown out BECAUSE YOU'RE BREAKING THE LAW. Whining that your kids might be counted? That we might figure out just how much money is being used on illegal aliens? Screw you.
I think Tam was one of the people talking about the odd definition now
The arrests followed a federal grand jury indictment handed down in Detroit charging them with seditious conspiracy, attempted use of weapons of mass destruction, and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence.
The weapons of mass destruction charge referred to improvised explosive devices with projectiles, the indictment said.
Ok, I have a question: if groups like this, or some general nut with a pipe bomb can be charged with having WMD, can someone explain why a terrorist setting off a bomb, or captured with one, isn't charged with the same thing? Why Hamas and Hezballah shooting rockets into Israel isn't classed as palistinians using WMD?
And if they can't, why the bleep is the Justice Department & Co. spreading bullshit this way?
To CNN and FOX and all the other media weenies spreading lies for the NSDP,
If you actually give a rats ass about things like facts, and actually reporting?
President Obama, he's never met a socialist tyrant or wannabe
Participants in those talks say Dan Restrepo, senior director for Western Hemisphere affairs at the National Security Council, let slip that the U.S. interest had to do with American politics. The Republicans, he said, were using the administration's support for Mr. Zelaya, an ally of Venezuelan Hugo Chávez, against the Democrats. It's not going to work, Mr. Restrepo is said to have informed the other negotiators, because "we have the power" and would be keeping it for a long time.
It can't have been comforting for Hondurans to learn that while their country was living a monumental crisis, fueled by U.S. policy, Mr. Restrepo's concern was his party's power. For the record, an NSC spokesman says "Mr. Restrepo didn't say that." But my sources are more plausible considering what has transpired since.
...
..The U.S., as represented by Mr. Llorens, has been at the center of the Zelaya crisis all along. People familiar with events leading up to Mr. Zelaya's arrest on June 28 say that had the U.S. ambassador not worked behind the scenes to block a congressional vote to remove the president a few days earlier, the dramatic deportation would never have happened.
The State Department denies this allegation. But numerous sources maintain that Mr. Llorens' interference allowed Mr. Zelaya to push ahead with an unconstitutional referendum. Fearing he would use violence—as he had before—to trample the rule of law, the Supreme Court took action. Mr. Zelaya was arrested, shipped off to San José, and removed from power by a vote of Congress the same day.
Note this well:
Washington's bullying is two-pronged. First is a maniacal determination to punish those involved in removing Mr. Zelaya. Second is an attempt to force Honduras to allow Mr. Zelaya, who now lives in the Dominican Republic, to return without facing any repercussions for the illegal actions that provoked his removal. Both goals are damaging the bilateral relationship, polarizing the nation and raising the risk of a resurgence of political violence.
This from the sonofabitch who whined that he couldn't be too 'forceful' in dealing with Iran.
Found at Ace.
And let's not forget that President Obama really doesn't like Israel, and does want to blame them for all kinds of things.
Ross, it seems, is bravely putting forth an alternative view he wants the President to consider. Instead of listening to him, his opponents are arguing, as one unnamed person tells her, that “he [Ross] seems to be far more sensitive to Netanyahu’s coalition politics than to U.S. interests and he doesn’t seem to understand that this has become bigger than Jerusalem but is rather about the credibility of this Administration.”
To put it bluntly, Ross’s opponents are painting him as anti-American, subject to the old canard about “dual loyalties” to Israel rather than to his own country. Ross’s goal, one that is hardly opposed to our own national interest, is to develop “an international and regional alliance including Arab nations and Israel to pressure and isolate Iran.” But it seems that the Obama administration is quickly backing away from taking any meaningful action to curb Iran, and instead is spending its energy in condemning the Israelis for seeking to build 1600 apartments in Jerusalem.
Having sore feet and not enough sleep, I think I'll sit here
MOSCOW – Two female suicide bombers blew themselves up Monday in twin attacks on Moscow subway stations jam-packed with rush-hour passengers, killing at least 37 people and wounding 65, officials said. They blamed the carnage on rebels from the Caucasus region.
Question that comes to mind: Will the Russian strikes be loud and public, or quiet and very, very nasty? Considering the past record, public AND very, very nasty is quite possible. And every security guy on the NYEffin'C subway system, if he's got a brain, got very, very worried.
It must be pointed out again and again: members of the NSDP, having voted to take over our health care and tax us to death with that as an excuse, want to keep people from talking about it:
Henry Waxman and House Democrats announced yesterday that they will haul these companies in for an April 21 hearing because their judgment “appears to conflict with independent analyses, which show that the new law will expand coverage and bring down costs.”
In other words, shoot the messenger. Black-letter financial accounting rules require that corporations immediately restate their earnings to reflect the present value of their long-term health liabilities, including a higher tax burden. Should these companies have played chicken with the Securities and Exchange Commission to avoid this politically inconvenient reality? Democrats don’t like what their bill is doing in the real world, so they now want to intimidate CEOs into keeping quiet.
On top of AT&T’s $1 billion, the writedown wave so far includes Deere & Co., $150 million; Caterpillar, $100 million; AK Steel, $31 million; 3M, $90 million; and Valero Energy, up to $20 million. Verizon has also warned its employees about its new higher health-care costs, and there will be many more in the coming days and weeks.
Tar, feathers, rail. And the occasional rope.
Oh, on all those new taxes,
IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman practically ran away when The Daily Caller asked him whether he prepares his own taxes. Millions of Americans struggling through complicated IRS forms in the weeks leading up to tax day — April 15 — might like to know.
He doesn't.
So does Becerra prepare his own taxes?
“No. I have a tax preparer back home who’s been doing it for me for many years,” he told The Daily Caller. Becerra explains that his finances are more complex — and his tax filings fall under far greater scrutiny — than ordinary Americans who could figure out the forms if they tried.
How about the chairman of Ways & Means oversight subcommittee that asked for Shulman to testify Thursday?
“Oh no, no, no, no, no. I have an accountant that I’ve been using for years,” Rep. John Lewis said. He said he needs to head home this weekend to fill out paperwork for his accountant.
Yeah, all us ordinary Americans, have SIMPLE forms. Right? And they say "Ask the IRS for help." Which, among other things, proves this moron either hasn't every TRIED to get through to them, or doesn't care about the mess. Or the fact that if you take advice from the IRS that turns out to be wrong(happens a lot from what I've read) they take no responsibility for having given you bad information. Etc., etc.
So CNN estimates this as 'hundreds, maybe dozens' of people at the rally against Obamacare and big government... I wonder if they really don't understand why we don't trust them, or just don't care.
So, the National Socialist Democrats are in trouble, bad polls and all, so Pres. Obama makes a trip to talk to the troops in Afghanistan. Isn't that nice?
No, I don't trust him to have done it for reasons like encouraging the troops and such; after all the crap he's done it would take an awful damned lot to make me believe he gives a crap about the troops.
More later. Right now I've got a pile of laundry to take care of.

Speaking of our miserable excuses for reporters in the major media,
The steady rise in combat deaths has generated less public reaction in the United States than the spike in casualties last summer and fall, which undermined public support in the U.S. for the 8-year-old American-led mission here. Fighting traditionally tapers off in Afghanistan during winter months, only to peak in the summer.
And while Bush was President the media weenies basically did a running count on every death, and lots of noise on wounded. Pretty much every day. Anybody heard them doing that with Obama? Me neither.
After a summer marked by the highest monthly death rates of the war, President Barack Obama faced serious domestic opposition over his decision in December to increase troops in Afghanistan, with only about half the American people supporting the move. But support for his handling of the war has actually improved since then, despite the increased casualties.
Yep. We actually want to WIN, which Obama lied about wanting. Of course, he delayed every day he could about making a decision, then cut the number of troops as much as he could, and set deadlines- literal in this case- for yanking the troops out, and so on.
The troop numbers have continued to rise in 2010 in line with the recent surge. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Thursday that a third of the additional forces, or 10,000 troops, are already in Afghanistan. They plan to have all 30,000 troops in the country before the end of the year.
With no mention that, as I recall, there'll be units removed at the same time other units go in, which'll play hell with the situation, so Obama can play "I'm bringing the troops home!" The National Socialist Democrats would be having screaming fits if Bush did this, and the major media would be helping them.

Do you want to know just what a miserable shit Stupak is?
Oh, and the 'wiretapping charges' against O'Keefe?
A day in court... that could get downright interesting. And don't count on actual corrections from the MSM who screwed up the story in the first place; after all, if they gave a damn about things like truth and facts they wouldn't be the suckups to Obama and the NSDP that they are.
Rep. James Clyburn(National Socialist Democrat-SC) is a RWPP

And speaking of sold-out media weenies,
Of course, we're talking about media weenies who went WAY out of their way to avoid showing pictures of leftists calling for Bush to be murdered. And troops to murder their officers. So we should expect integrity from them now?
Thoughts on the fair
One of the things I really liked about working it? When someone would show up with a broken something and "Can you fix it?" Or a piece and "Can you make some more?" Or "I need 'X' for a display rack/support, can you make me one?" I saw a number of those pieces today; Deity only knows how many tent stakes are in the ground right now that came out of my fire.
I can't remember if I'd shown these before, but it seems appropriate: this is my sgian dhu, and the new dirk I made myself(one of the few blades I ever made just for me):
The sgian dhu is 8" overall, 3.75" blade from the front of the collar to the point, just under 1" wide and .13" thick. This blade started as a 3/4" ball bearing, 52-100 steel. And forging it from ball to bar was a pain. The collar is nickel silver, the grip walnut. The final finish on both blades was done with a buffing wheel and 400-grit greaseless compound.
And yes, they're both sharp.
I've still got my older 'dirk'- actually a stright-clip bowie design' but no picture handy, I'll get one later. That started off as something made to sell, but I couldn't turn loose of it. Good knife; I just decided to make one more fitting for kilt wear, with sheath to match.
I miss making this stuff.
Some more important stuff
My Interests

Awwww, how much you want to bet this little weenie would bitch and scream and cry for the EffingBI and Secret Service if someone said something like this about him? Levasseur, you're a worthless little waste of oxygen.
Breitbart: I'm Offering $10,000 For Audio or Video Proof of One of the Alleged 15 Uses of the N-Word Rep. Lewis' Aide Claims Were Hurled At Him — Ace
Awright, Lewis, you lying little bastard, let's see it.
And in a further demonstration of the disgusting levels to which Associated Press will sink to suck up to and aid Obama, go read.
The health care overhaul will cost U.S. companies billions and make them more likely to drop prescription drug coverage for retirees because of a change in how the government subsidizes those benefits.
In the first two days after the law was signed, three major companies — Deere & Co., Caterpillar Inc. and Valero Energy — said they expect to take a total hit of $265 million to account for smaller tax deductions in the future.
With more than 3,500 companies now getting the tax break as an incentive to keep providing coverage, others are almost certain to announce similar cost increases in the weeks ahead as they sort out the impact of the change.
First things first: Montana, just what are you going to do about your National Socialist Senator?
Yeah, we knew that but now Sen. Max "Hey My Girlfriend Would Be A Great US Attorney" Baucus admits it.
...the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy, and the middle income class is left behind. Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America.
But don't you dare call it socialism!
Follow the link for the video and decide for your self if you think he's drunk.
And let us take note of the next crapweasel Obama wants
Gabriel Schoenfeld points out in the Weekly Standard that the administration’s nominee to be general counsel of the Army, Solomon B. Watson IV, was general counsel of the New York Times when it broke the story of the Treasury’s program to uncover terrorist financing.
Watson has drawn fire for his role in allowing the disclosure of that program. Certainly the Times deserves a black eye for that disclosure, which even its own public editor ended up condemning – admitting, “I haven’t found any evidence in the intervening months that the surveillance program was illegal.”
Maybe Watson was not involved in the Times’s decision to publish the story, although given the extraordinary Treasury effort to persuade the Times not to publish, it would be a surprise if it didn’t ask its general counsel whether it could legally disclose the program — and whether the program it was disclosing was itself legal. If they had a client that made decisions like that without consulting them, most lawyers wouldn’t stick around as general counsel very long.
Yeah, it's just SO wonderful to have such a statesman
Benjamin Netanyahu was left to stew in a White House meeting room for over an hour after President Barack Obama abruptly walked out of tense talks to have supper with his family, it emerged on Thursday. The snub marked a fresh low in US-Israeli relations and appeared designed to show Mr Netanyahu how low his stock had fallen in Washington after he refused to back down in a row over Jewish construction in east Jerusalem.
… (Mr. Obama) immediately presented Mr Netanyahu with a list of 13 demands designed both to the end the feud with his administration and to build Palestinian confidence ahead of the resumption of peace talks. Key among those demands was a previously-made call to halt all new settlement construction in east Jerusalem.
When the Israeli prime minister stalled, Mr Obama rose from his seat declaring: “I’m going to the residential wing to have dinner with Michelle and the girls.” As he left, Mr Netanyahu was told to consider the error of his ways. “I’m still around,” Mr Obama is quoted by Israel’s Yediot Ahronot newspaper as having said. “Let me know if there is anything new.”

As to the National Socialist(Democrat) whining about 'threats',
here and here and here and here, for instance. Lots of actual attacks on people, lots of real violence, beatings and arson and property damage.
And let us not forget the major media: those people who did their best to report the absolute minimum on the above, when they bothered to report it at all. What did I keep hearing last night? They kept playing a recording of a woman who called one of Hoyer's buttmonkeys and called him a piece of shit, and THAT was blared as A THREAT! AND THE REPUBLICANS ARE RESPONSIBLE!!! And the media- including Fox, that supposed Stupid Party mouthpiece- kept repeating Hoyer's and the other NS dirtbags accusations, over and over.
There's a reason I have a category 'Reporters- sorry excuse for'.
Again from Insty: He was notably silent when it was President Obama making pitchfork threats, and when his political ally ACORN was busing mobs to executives’ homes. Man up, Steny. Or just, you know, shut up. You’re a hypocrite when it comes to thuggery, and you and your colleagues aren’t credible playing the victim.
Like the bullshit about people yelling racial and homosexual slurs? That stuff that didn't happen?

I just realized why I'm so jumpy
For more than twenty years the Wednesday before Med-Fair meant loading the big stuff* in the truck so I could drive it down Thursday morning for setup. Today I helped friend the gunsmith with some things, came home and ate dinner, and now I'm comfortably browsing the inerwebs a bit instead of doing heavy lifting and checking the list.
It's really odd.
*Anvil, stump, forge, coal bucket(full) and water bucket(empty), a bunch of steel of various sizes/shapes/types, one damned heavy toolbox and so on.
And Obama is America's first Third World president.
If you doubt it, remember the kick in the teeth he gave Britain over the Falklands just a few weeks ago. Obama had his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, fly to Buenos Aires to give American support to President Kirchner's call for international negotiations over the Falklands. Amazing. What was more amazing is that all we've heard out of Number 10 and the Foreign Office since then is that it doesn't mean anything.
Oh, yes it does, and Washington insiders know it does.
Odd thing: I went to the Daily Mail site to read the whole thing, and the page is there but the article isn't. Hopefully just a temporary glitch. Or did enough leftists scream that the paper took it down?
Awww, the National Socialists are all wee-weeing their pants
I don't recall these clowns speaking out about posters calling for Bush to be killed. Or telling idiot actors to shut up with they called for Republican politicians and their families to be dragged into the street and murdered. Or when their leftist friends were sending ACORN mobs to the homes of AIG execs.
Hoyer, you're either a coward or just disgusting. Or both. Probably both. Shut the hell up and pull on your big-girl panties.
In a way, I wish that miserable bastard Murtha was still around
The defense for the last Marine facing criminal charges in the fatal shooting of 24 Iraqi civilians in Haditha in 2005 won a key ruling Tuesday that could lead to the case being dropped.
Lt. Col. David Jones, the military judge, ruled that attorneys for Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich had successfully shown that there was the possibility of what the military calls undue command influence in the decision by a general to send Wuterich to a court martial.
Jones' ruling requires that prosecutors prove beyond a reasonable doubt that no such influence existed or that, while it may have existed, it did not influence the general's decision.
...
Jones set a hearing for Wednesday to hear any evidence prosecutors want to present. Maj. Nicholas Gannon, one of the prosecutors, said he was "99.9% sure" that he has no further evidence.
Well, Medieval Fair or somebody connected with it has just decided to really tick off
In the past, one of the nice things about it was that parking at Lloyd Noble Center was free. Guess what?
Parking is available one block from the park at Lloyd Noble Center, located just north of HWY 9 East on Jenkins Avenue. (Handicapped parking is available on the park grounds.) Note: The University of Oklahoma Athletic Department will be charging $5 per car for parking at the center.
Ain't that just freakin' wonderful?
Yeah, what was once the Democrat Party is now the National Socialists
Really, Dingell? You want legislation to control me?
Fuck you, Dingell. You and Pelosi and Obama and all.
Among the dirtbags who need to be shown the door(or the window)
I don’t know. And I will find out. But I don’t know if that’s in there. This is, as you know, a multi-hundred, several hundred pages of bill, but uh, uh, I'll check with Dr. Wolf directly too and talk to him and find out what, what, what his concern is because I don't know that.
Blue Dog Democrat my ass, you're a turncoat little ass-kisser for Obama and Pelosi.
*I may just start using this instead of Democrat, since that's what the leadership is
For some of the idiocies and crookedness in the Obamacare Bill
Hours after President Barack Obama signed historic health care legislation, a potential problem emerged. Administration officials are now scrambling to fix a gap in highly touted benefits for children.
Obama made better coverage for children a centerpiece of his health care remake, but it turns out the letter of the law provided a less-than-complete guarantee that kids with health problems would not be shut out of coverage.
Under the new law, insurance companies still would be able to refuse new coverage to children because of a pre-existing medical problem, said Karen Lightfoot, spokeswoman for the House Energy and Commerce Committee, one of the main congressional panels that wrote the bill Obama signed into law Tuesday.
among other bullcrap. Hope! and Change!! for real.
So our Governor Brad Henry and AG Drew Edmondson, both members of the National Socialist Party
Elections. Your sorry asses out of those offices. Soon as possible.

Had the radio on a minute ago and Glenn Beck was railing about "Do NOT do ANYTHING that can even be perceived as violent, etc., because the Socialist Party WANTS you to." Etc. Which brought to mind a quesiton:
Since the Socialist Party(formerly Democrat Party) is going to ignore anything we say or do, they're going to lie about us and foment violence against us, since the major media will buy into and push those lies, since corrupt officials will attempt to ignore the violence, etc., it brings us the the question: what's really to lose if we DO do something 'nasty'? They're going to call us names? Make false charges? Try to ruin us? Hell, they're doing that NOW.

"Obama and the Socialist Party have promised these things!
Damn, wonder why we didn't hear of this?
But what's this?
China has witnessed a series of school attacks in recent years, most blamed on people with personal grudges or suffering from mental illness, leading to calls for improved security.
We will plague the Socialists who sold us out,
We will hold every Republican to the fire and so help us if they don’t fight until their last breath to repeal this massive affront to liberty we will burn them in effigy along with the traitors to the Constitution.
We will insert ourselves into every branch and level of public service and devour our party so we will never have to worry about another impotent candidate ascending to power again, so we never again have to worry about being bulldozed by tyrants.
Sounds good. Though I still want to- well, how about a small trailer with the smell of hot tar for atmosphere when these bastards talk down to us? Maybe a few handfuls of feathers thrown up? And THIS Gadsden flag:

Sen. Lindsay Graham(RINO Bastard) is not a sucker;
*with apologies to honest whores who actually sell sex in a fair deal
Here's a good question: is it insulting to whores
Congress is nothing like a prostitute. A prostitute only wants cash that customers actually have, and usually tells them the real price of the services being purchased. A prostitute doesn’t impose hidden fees through inflation (we don’t generally give prostitutes the power to print money, but somehow we let Congress approve stimulus packages and spend money that doesn’t exist). A prostitute doesn’t increase the national debt (in fact, it is government, by keeping prostitution illegal, that increases the deficit in yet another way, by making income from prostitution outside of the system and not taxable).
True. Though both lots of prostitutes and politicians carry social diseases, just different kinds.
Added: from Joe in comments:
You missed the most important differences: prostitutes don't charge you for services rendered to somebody else, and they don't send armed agents to your home if you choose not to do business with them.
This goes beyond 'Sorry excuses for lawmen' and into
Remember the man who was killed by police because he tried to drive away when a bunch of guys in plain clothes and masks jumped out of an unmarked vehicle with guns? And was then accused of various things that had to be dropped? It gets even worse.
Ignore the idiot way this arrest was attempted; ignore the malice of the lies thrown at the dead man to exonerate the cops of their responsibility in his death; get this:
District Attorney Brian Rickman praised the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for going to "very extraordinary lengths" to insure the investigation into the shooting was fair. But Abigail Ayers' civil suit (PDF) calls that assessment into question. The complaint alleges that Officer Harrison, the cop who shot Ayers, wasn't even authorized to arrest him. On the day Ayers was killed, Harrison had yet to take a series of firearms training classes required for his certification as a police officer. More astonishing, Harrison apparently had no training at all in the use of lethal force.
These allegations have since been confirmed by local TV station WSBTV and, after the fact, by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Despite the fact that Harrison had killed a man suspected of no crime months earlier without having undergone lethal-force training and certification, the officer was still carrying his badge and gun up until the time of the WSBTV report. Once the publicity hit, Harrison was suspended. Abigail Ayers' civil suit also alleges prior disciplinary problems with both officers Oxner and Harrison, including alleged drug use.
You, as a plain old citizen, carry without getting permission from the state and kill someone in unquestioned self-defense and they'll put you in prison for not having a permit; this bastard was not a certified officer, had NO privilege to carry a badge at all let alone take part in a mess like this AND THEY LET HIM KEEP CARRYING A BADGE AND GUN AFTER HIS KILLING OF AYERS. I'm going to borrow this bit from Balko's post:
...That a police officer untrained in the use of lethal force and unqualified to be holding a badge and gun was put on a narcotics task force, and then placed in a position where he was able to shoot and kill a non-suspect is worse. But the kicker has to be that the subsequent police-led investigations of this high-profile case failed to turn up such a critical piece of information. It ought to cast more doubt on the already dubious notion that police shootings should only be investigated by other police officers.
Once upon a time I didn't like the idea of non-cops being involved in investigations of LE shootings; I've grown up a lot since that time(I used to trust the FBI to be always professional and fair, too).
All you people who just couldn't wait to vote for the first black President
The White House is considering whether to detain international terrorism suspects at a U.S. military base in Afghanistan, senior U.S. officials said, an option that would lead to another prison with the same purpose as Guantanamo Bay, which it has promised to close.
The idea, which would require approval by President Obama, already has drawn resistance from within the government. Army Gen. Stanley A. McCrystal, the top commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, and other senior officials strongly oppose it, fearing that expansion of the U.S. detention facility at Bagram air base could make the job of stabilizing the country even tougher.
That the option of detaining suspects captured outside Afghanistan at Bagram is being contemplated reflects a recognition by the Obama administration that it has few other places to hold and interrogate foreign prisoners without giving them access to the U.S. court system, the officials said.
"I will close Guananamo!(but open a different prison in another country, because who knew there would be actual problems with closing Gitmo?)
In one case last year, U.S. special operations forces killed an Al Qaeda-linked suspect named Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan in a helicopter attack in southern Somalia rather than trying to capture him, a U.S. official said. Officials had debated trying to take him alive but decided against doing so in part because of uncertainty over where to hold him, the official added.
U.S. officials find such options unappealing for handling suspects they want to question but lack the evidence to prosecute. For such suspects, a facility such as Bagram, north of Kabul, remains necessary, officials said, even as they acknowledged that having it in Afghanistan could complicate McCrystal's mission.
"No one particularly likes any of the choices before us right now, but Bagram may be the least bad among them," a senior Defense official said.
This is one of the end results of Obama & Holder & Co. trying to play "Terrorists and illegal combatants are just muggers writ large and get a civil trial."
Speaking of AG Eric Holder,
Byron York notes that the Department of Justice has delayed today’s appearance of Eric Holder to the Senate Judiciary Committee after a “disastrous” hearing earlier this month. The Attorney General made headlines when he dodged a question regarding the handling of terrorists by claiming that the US would wind up reading Miranda rights to Osama bin Laden’s corpse:
Why? Word is that it’s because of the signing ceremony for the national health care bill, but well-informed Republicans suspect the occasion may also have given Democrats an opportunity to put off what could turn into another embarrassing performance by the attorney general....
A source on Capitol Hill confirmed to me that the White House used the ObamaCare signing as their reason to postpone Holder’s appearance at Judiciary. However, the real reason could be a series of embarrassing admissions in a submission to the committee from the DoJ. Judiciary had asked for answers on the oft-claimed “hundreds” of terrorists tried in the federal court system, as well as an explanation of how the federal court system can protect national-security information as well as military commissions. According to this source, the DoJ’s answers confirm exactly what had been suspected — that Holder has not been telling the truth on either point:
In responses submitted to the Judiciary Committee this afternoon, the Department of Justice concedes that military commission trials have better safeguards for protecting classified national security information from leaks than civilian criminal trials. Although Attorney General Holder has repeatedly testified that civilian criminal trials are just as effective as military commission trials in protecting classified information, even stating that classified information protections in the Military Commissions Act were modeled on the Classified Information Procedures Act (CIPA) used in federal courts, the responses received today (see pp. 29-32) tell a different story. They acknowledge that the MCA’s classified information protections are better than what is available in federal criminal courts. In fact, the responses explain how the military commission rules improved upon the civilian criminal rules “to take into account lessons learned in terrorism cases in federal court.” The Department’s submission to the Committee then details 7 categories of “key differences” between the classified information protections in military commission trials that are not similarly present in the federal criminal law.
Translation: Holder lied, got caught, and doesn't want to get caught lying again. Wonderful guy you appointed and your tame Senate passed, Obama.

The gentleman at Eternity Road has a good thought:
It is therefore important to remember that the congressmen who vote regularly to usurp the rights of the people against their will are also members of our communities. They must be cast out.
If they choose to associate with the thieves in Washington D.C. and vote the wealth of the people to be given to themselves, then they choose to stay there. They are no longer welcome among us.
If they choose to tar their opponents as racists or shut down protests against their betrayals, then they choose to forfeit their own rights to speak. Any media that grant them interviews should be boycotted, any appearance they make should be disrupted by peaceful, but loud protest. If they will not listen to the people speak, then the people must ensure they may not speak either.
One of the things that's annoyed hell out of me for years has been the deference shown to politicians; somebody gets introduced as Rep. Foghorn or Senator Jackass and far too many people damn near literally kiss their ass. It's given them far to high an opinion of themselves; they need to be reminded that they're hired help. As the past while has demonstrated they've far too often become corrupt and/or incompetent hired help, but hired help nonetheless. AND THEY NEED TO BE REMINDED OF IT.
One of the bastards who sold you out smiles and holds out his hand, tell him you just washed. He starts to lecture you, tell him you don't take lectures from crooked hired hands. Yeah, people around him will bitch and whine and threaten: their own sense of importance is tied in to people bowing down to The Rep. or The Senator. Tough shit. Don't let them get away with it. They're on an interview show, call in and make the point that they weren't sent there to sell out for some appointment or other federal job, and don't let them talk around it.
And if you can, record it, and post it. Make sure word gets around, so every time the bastard tries to weasel-word or threaten, everybody and their grandma can watch or listen to it.
That's what comes to mind for me. On the less messy side.
By the way, if the IRS thinks people are pissed at them NOW, and say nasty things,
I seem to be turning into a test & report site
We'll see what they find.
Couple of years back the tailgate handle on my truck broke,
So I did some browsing around, and found a place that has a STEEL replacement, that with shipping is going to be about $32 less than the PLASTIC Ford part.
You know, I'd like to know what moron decided that making this part out of plastic was a good idea: "We can save two or three cents each this way! And then screw the customer when it breaks and he needs a new one!"
And, since I'm bitching about plastic, Sig and their Trailside magazines. Damn things are molded polymer, the only steel in them is the spring, and they cost more than premium 1911 magazines. No reason for that.
Oh yeah, I'm pissed
These people better be very happy we're not the people they lie about us being; if we were, there would already be broken windows and broken bones. Maybe a few bodies.
We're not going to forget you, not any single one of you God-damned betrayers. You liars.
I'm leaning toward that line from Next of Kin: "You ain't seen trouble yet; but it's comin'."
Oh, and anybody who thinks calling them socialists is mean, or wrong? The RWPP Sharpton let the cat out, so they've admitted exactly what they are.

I'm taking a detour from politics so I don't destroy my digestion
Researchers at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), which is the research and development arm of the Ministry of Defence, claim it is possible to incorporate material known as supercapacitors into armour of a vehicle to turn it into a kind of giant battery.
When a threat from incoming fire is detected by the vehicle, the energy stored in the supercapacitor can be rapidly dumped onto the metal plating on the outside of the vehicle, producing a strong electromagnetic field.
Scientists behind the project claim this would produce a momentary "force field" capable of repelling the incoming rounds and projectiles.
So in best case(I'm thinking) the field could deflect, say, an RPG round so it misses, or- actually also a best case- fry the fuse so it won't fire, which means dud bouncing off the armor. Very nice idea.
According to Ace, Rep. Stupak(Sorry Whore) has found his price
Fuck the tar and feathers, let's just go straight to ropes when they come out.
And they have to come out eventually.
I'm not all that fond of Theodore Roosevelt, but
“I believe that a man must be a good patriot before he can be, and as the only possible way of being, a good citizen of the world. Experience teaches us that the average man who protests that his international feeling swamps his national feeling, that he does not care for his country because he cares so much for mankind, in actual practice proves himself the foe of mankind; that the man who says that he does not care to be a citizen of any one country, because he is the citizen of the world, is in fact usually and exceedingly undesirable citizen of whatever corner of the world he happens at the moment to be in. In the dim future all moral needs and moral standards may change; but at present, if a man can view his own country and all others countries from the same level with tepid indifference, it is wise to distrust him, just as it is wise to distrust the man who can take the same dispassionate view of his wife and mother. However broad and deep a man’s sympathies, however intense his activities, he need have no fear that they will be cramped by love of his native land.”–Teddy Roosevelt
Army Times: The Obama administration says flying the flag could give Haiti the wrong idea.
“We are not here as an occupation force, but as an international partner committed to supporting the government of Haiti on the road to recovery,” the U.S. government’s Haiti Joint Information Center said in response to a query about the flag.
In the immediate aftermath of the quake and our initial response, France accused the US of conducting a de facto “occupation” of Haiti. Not surprisingly, Venezuela and Nicaragua followed suit. Ironically, the French don’t seem terribly concerned with flying their flag over Haiti despite their status as its original colonizer.
The decision not to fly the flag is an embarrassment of weakness on the part of Obama. Our nation has conducted relief efforts for decades through our military, saving millions of people from death, disease, and starvation. Like France, Britain, and Croatia, we have flown our flag during those operations not to note occupation but to represent the American people’s solidarity with those suffering from disaster. That historical record is answer itself to the lunatics in Venezuela, Nicaragua, and even France who indulge in paranoid hysteria.
Fly the flag, Mr. President. Let our actions speak for themselves, but demonstrate that we aren’t ashamed to arrive anywhere in the world with that flag flying proudly.
I just made the mistake of turning on channel 13,
Again.
And my timing brought it up in the middle of some doctor whose answer for almost every ill is diet. As in "Meat is bad. Chicken is bad. Fish is bad. Olive oil is bad. Be vegetarian at least, preferably vegan and your health will be wonderful."
The knowledge that money is being taken out of my pocket in taxes to pay for this propaganda just makes the knowledge that the House Soviet is voting to try to steal the rest of my life even more of a pissed-off thing.
*"Yes, we get tax money, but we want even more, so we'll spend a week selling overpriced crap to try to guilt you into giving it to us."
On the 'breaking windows' post,
This whole thing keeps percolating in the back of my mind. I've got a pretty good idea what the media and the socialists in DC(and some state capitals) will say and do if it begins; as the previous post on the 'racism' accusation notes much of the major media has no problem lying about anyone who defies The Obama and his minions so we'll never get a fair shake there. And considering the number of crapweasels meeting in DC today to vote who apparently don't care if they get reelected so long as they shove this down our throats- combined with the corrupting influence of being in DC- I don't know as the elections in November will really help; even if you replace every boob who votes 'yes' AND every boob you suspect of voting 'no' only because he got permission from Pelosi, trying to dump this socialized medicine scheme may be damn near impossible(see 'corrupt media' and 'corrupt politicians' above). So is there anything left, short of breaking things, that just might cause these people to understand just how far over the line they've gone?
Guys, I don't want to start breaking windows; I hate the thought of it. I also hate the thought of the bastards in DC and their little minions who've decided that they're privileged to order my life for me no matter what I think. I keep coming back to "Where's the Line? How do I know it's beyond words and demonstrations and we need to DO something?"
One of the things that most distresses me in this shit is that I've come to have a great lack of trust and confidence in our law enforcement and justice system. Far too many who carry the badge will carry out orders they know are in violation of the Constitution because they're more worried about getting yelled at by their supervisor or fired than damaging or destroying someones life; too many in the federal levels will carry out those illegal orders because they know the System will protect them, just like it protected Horiuchi. And too many of the politicians we used to have trust in have become so corrupted that we just cannot trust them AT ALL.
Remember the screaming by Stupid Party politicians when that crooked Representative's office was searched by the FBI? Proper search warrant, actual corruption investigation, and these bastards screaming that THEIR offices cannot be searched, No Sir! WE are special, WE are not like some commoner whose office and home can be searched! Do these idiots have any idea, any at all, just how many people said 'Screw these clowns' and walked away from the Stupid Party over that final straw? Do they even bleeping CARE?
Speaking of the Stupid Party, it's headed by that moron Steele. Who decided to announce that the criticism of some of his actions was based on his being black. Think he has any idea how many people he pissed off? How much he damaged that party? Does he actually care?
The Evil Party most of us have just flat given up on. It's dominated by people like Pelosi and Obama and his little terrorist and communist friends and the unions who collectively don't give a rats shaved ass for what ANYBODY thinks, so long as they have power; it'd take the equivalent of a Magnitude 9.8 quake to make any real change there.
Folks, I don't have any solid conclusion. Just that while I'd much rather get their attention more gently part of me really thinks we ought to be warming up the tar right now- hell, should have a roofers trailer already heated up and sitting in front of the House with a trailer full of pillows next to it, waiting for them to come out.
Some of the signs in pictures at Malkin's place:
Reduce your government footprint
and my favorite,
You can't fix stupid, but you can vote it out
The other day, commenting on the TEA party post,
A CNN reporter, yes, CNN, the home of the infamous Susan Rosegen, claimed to have heard racist slurs and shouts; other bloggers picked it up. I mean, if you’re going to smear a group of people by claiming that they were shouting slurs, perhaps make sure you don’t post video that completely refutes your claim and makes you look like a race hustler. Just saying.
Yep, our professional DC-whore major media doing what it seems to do as a specialty: smearing people with crap for the offense of not kissing up to the 'right' politicians.
Oh, CNN? We'll remember; just like we'll remember who voted what this day. And we won't forgive.
Bit of a roundup on this at Insty
