Tab clearing. Also
family business calls the next few days, bloggage will be light to nonexistent.
Idiot who required five beanbag rounds, a taser and a shield to take out- and kill- a 95-year-old man? Idiot with the shotgun's being charged.
Alcoholic Beverage Control agents who should've been fired a long time ago now being sued.
There's a reason that the anti-self-defense zealots refuse to make a distinction between the concepts of "guns everywhere," and "guns everywhere except where there is no potential need for them." It's because even they lack the audacity to try to dispute the fact that no such distinction exists.
Yes, Yee WOULD have tried to use it to push for more laws. Maybe he was taking lessons from BATFE.
That's a good question: where IS Commie Steve Rattner during all this GM "We let people die because we were too cheap to fix the problem, and we're now Government Motors so leave us alone" crap?
Next time some asshole at Mozilla whines about 'unfair treatment' or 'free speech', they need a serious kick in the crotch. Morons.
Just looked at the Mozilla blog: "Comments are closed"

"Oh, you mean THAT vote fraud...
YOU'RE A RACIST!!"
The North Carolina State Board of Elections has found thousands of instances of voter fraud in the state, thanks to a 28-state crosscheck of voter rolls. Initial findings suggest widespread election fraud.
If this is true, the the officer should be fired.
From those wonderful people at BATFEIEIO: "Just because we keep using mentally retarded people, doesn't mean we MEANT to!"
“We do not target the developmentally disabled,” ATF director Todd Jones testified before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
Really?
The Journal-Sentinel investigation found that agents in Wichita decided to hire an unemployed 20-year-old man with an IQ in the mid-50s who they referred to as “slow-headed.” Agents in Pensacola, Fla., befriended an unemployed 24-year-old with an IQ of 76. ATF agents joked he was “half retarded,” and surveillance video captured one saying, “I can use his desperation against him.”
All coincidental, I'm sure.
But don't worry, Jones is on the case!
“You don’t think your agents dealing with an individual with an IQ in the 50s knew they were dealing with a mentally disabled person?” Duckworth asked Jones. “If your IQ is in the 50s it is very clear someone is mentally disabled.”
“To be honest with you, Congresswoman, I don’t know what they thought,” Jones replied.
Y'know, if GM had received anywhere near the kind of attention that, say, Toyota di-
oh yeah, Government Motors. Never mind.
...It announced this week that it too was recalling over a million vehicles that had sudden loss of electric power steering. This, after recalling nearly 3 million vehicles for ignition-switch problems that the company knew about since 2001 and are now linked 13 deaths. GM has apologized. But does anyone believe the Obama administration took as hard a look at GM as it did Toyota?
Speaking of racist bullshit,
Leonard Zeskind, an author and activist, hosted a session on the racist roots of the tea party, a limited government movement that returned the U.S. House of Representatives to Republican control in 2010.
In Zeskind’s view, the oppression of minorities is a central motivating principal of the tea party.
...
Tea party groups are similar to white nationalist groups, he said.
...
Zeskind denounced other racists as well. People who send their kids to private schools are also racists. People who disagree with President Obama are racists.
Be a shorter list for this bigoted fool to decide what he DOESN'T see as racist.

- 765 voters with an exact match of first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in N.C. and the other state in the 2012 general election.
- 35,750 voters with the same first and last name and DOB were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in both states in the 2012 general election.
- 155,692 voters with the same first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state – and the latest date of registration or voter activity did not take place within N.C.

To the fatass generals and admirals noted below:
Fuck you.
Senior Pentagon officials told Congress on Tuesday that troops are willing to sacrifice portions of their pay and benefits if it means keeping and improving the training and equipment needed to do their jobs.
Really? The troop who I got this link from had it headed "Anyone wonder why I'm getting out?"
I can see it now: "Honey, I know we're barely making it now, but if I give up some of my pay and benefits they MIGHT use the money to buy us some ammo for practice!" Said no soldier ever to his wife/husband.
I know nothing about these assholes with rank, so I'm just going to scream here:
You assholes. You miserable little shits. I am curious, how long since any of you stood a watch in a bad place? Or were out on the sharp end wondering if you're about to die?
Tell you what: take every God-damned penny spent on your perks and whatevers of office, cut you OWN pay and benefits FIRST- say, down to the level of captain- and I might believe you actually think this shit is a good idea. Otherwise, you're just one more bunch of scumsucking politicians in uniform trying to get a pat on the head from your masters.

Why you're not Officer Friendly anymore, Reason #318:
Lying, abusive, miserable excuse for a lawman.
Who apparently pretty much got away with it(unless you count being allowed to resign as sufficient punishment).
And, while we're at it, why the HELL didn't the prosecutors look at the video sooner?
Why Nobody Trusts Federal Agents: because you can run guns to Mexico and help get hundreds killed, you can lie to Congress, sign false documents, and otherwise behave like cartel members and the friggin' directors of ATF won't do shit.
The Justice Department had called for the firing of William Newell, who was the special agent in charge of the operation, and a suspension for case agent Hope MacAllister. Newell was not fired and MacAllister was only reprimanded. The ATF did follow the suggestion of the DoJ to demote David Both, reports The Blaze.
Todd Jones didn’t take over as ATF director until August 2013, so he was not directly involved with the scandal. However, he was director when the agency decided to give ATF officials involved lesser penalties than the DoJ reccommended.
Directly connected: When the .gov lies all the time, why should we worry about telling the truth to them?
And yet more lying oathbreaking bastards in government:
"According to Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, 'There have been queries, using U.S. person identifiers, of communications lawfully acquired to obtain foreign intelligence targeting non-U.S. persons reasonably believed to be located outside the United States. These queries were performed pursuant to minimization procedures approved by the Fisa court and consistent with the statute and the fourth amendment.' Basically, if you communicated with someone that is 'reasonably believed' to be a terrorist, you've lost constitutional protection against searches without a warrant, according to the NSA.
Cops lie under oath and put innocent people in jail, and face no charges; prosecutors break the law and pay no penalty, and whine in rage when someone threatens them with penalty; every friggin' agency lies, and the IRS abuses power for political purposes AND NOTHING HAPPENS TO THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE... Kevin may be right, it may be too late to start shooting the bastards.

Nice people Mayor Commissar has working for him
“NYPD fatally shoot knife-wielding man in Times Square. (VIDEO) F–k. The. Police,” ranted de Blasio volunteer coordinator Kicy Motley on Aug. 11 2012, after cops shot Darrius Kennedy, 51, on Seventh Avenue.
In addition to using gangsta-rap-like language to blast the cops, the campaign aide also slammed the NAACP in January for siding with drink companies against Bloomberg’s soda ban.
“@NAACP aka corporate d–k riders. Standing with soda makers for a few bucks,” she wrote.
In February, she linked to an article highlighting Bloomberg’s pro-gun-control efforts and wrote, “Hey rest of #America, welcome to Bloomberg using his #money to mess up your sh-t.”
Considering most of Comrade Mayors' voters hate cops, that won't bother them, but 'dick riders' i.e. 'homosexuals' as an insult to the NAAPCP? That ought to be a problem.
Except she 'apologized'(of course).
But she's a good socialist and ass-kisser to de Blasio, so she'll be in that office as long as possible.
Speaking of nutcases in office, I give you Mayor Danny Jones of Charleston, WV:
near-hysterical member of MAIG and hoplophobe. He's easy to spot at the start: he's the one with the "I'm going to explode" look and frozen body.
Thanks to Sean for finding this
This is from yesterday:
Late yesterday afternoon, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Darrell Issa and Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley sent a letter to ATF Chief B. Todd Jones asking why major players in Operation Fast and Furious are still working at the agency, especially considering Jones said they were no longer employed. Although many agents and supervisors involved in the deadly operation have retired or resigned since 2010 when Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed with a gun trafficked to Mexican cartels during the program, not a single person has been fired.
And if Jones and Holder and Obama have their way, nobody will; because they WANTED all the deaths to happen, so they could use them for political purposes, therefore those corrupt bastards are to be protected(also so they don't talk; can you imagine what would happen if they did?) Only some ATF agents who actually care about the law and truth let what they were doing out.

You see ranchers ambling through Walmart with .45 caliber 1911s on their hips
in glorious Open Carry and nobody even bats an eyelash. In
Minnesota, someone would dive under the Size 4XL Clearance Rack and call
SWAT. In Arizona, you say “Good morning,” and the cowboy tips his
Stetson and says, “Ma’am.”
One more reason to dump Common Core
Fine shooting, sir!
A British sniper in Afghanistan killed six insurgents with a single bullet after hitting the trigger switch of a suicide bomber whose device then exploded, The Telegraph has learnt.
The 20-year-old marksman, a Lance Corporal in the Coldstream Guards, hit his target from 930 yards (850 metres) away, killing the suicide bomber and five others around him caught in the blast.

Sheriff's Office puts on their ninja suits and raid the wrong place;
continue searching- with the owner handcuffed on the floor- AFTER they know it.
Damaged property.
Then, to make this crap even better,
Earlier this month, Sheriff Dane Howard agreed to have his command staff begin complying with state law.
Damaged property.
Then, to make this crap even better,
Huron County Common Pleas Court
Judge Timothy Cardwell issued a secret gag order March 21 to seal the
search warrant. The gag order is also secret, Cardwell’s court clerk
said after the Register asked for a copy of the order.
And the criminal complaint that was filed with the Huron County Sheriff’s Office also is secret.
The Register learned the search
warrant was gagged after Huron County Sheriff’s Capt. Ted Patrick failed
to deliver on assurances he made Thursday, when he said he would follow
up on the Register’s requests for the initial complaints that led to
the search warrant.
Because nothing says 'Law Enforcement Professionals' like getting a judge help you try to cover-up and hide your screwups.
Note this:
Patrick, who for the past three
years has routinely failed to follow the public records requirements of
the Ohio Revised Code, was also unavailable.
Yeah, nothing gives you confidence in the sheriff and his staff like knowingly breaking the law for years. And it being a big event when he tells the staff to START following the law.
Reason you're not Officer Friendly anymore #372: incompetence, arrogance, criminal acts and enlisting a corrupt judge to try to hide it all.
Because it's always good to have more data
Also because I'm tired. And had a drink. And it just seems like a good idea.

Officer Jerry Bledsoe, you worked for your fame,
so why aren't you enjoying it?
To express his opinion that Officer Bledsoe was using his position to harass him for exercising his Second Amendment rights, Klaffer posted recordings of the May 1 encounter on YouTube and Facebook. And, on Instagram, he posted a picture of Bledsoe alongside a photo of Saddam Hussein, with the caption “Striking Resemblance.”
Officer Bledsoe retaliated by obtaining a court order that prevented Mr. Klaffer from posting videos, pictures, and text data criticizing Officer Bledsoe on the Internet. “A government order prohibiting criticism of government is the worst kind of censorship,” explains Tony Rothert, legal director of the ACLU of Missouri.
Officer Bledsoe, meet the Streisand Effect; I hope you enjoy it, you bastard.
And Judge Scott T. Horman? You should have that black robe taken from you, as you obviously have no understanding of nor respect for the Constitution. Jackass.
Apparently the offense against free speech was so nasty the ACLU was willing to dirty its hands by working with a gun owner; amazing. Or it's possible the MO branch isn't full of gun bigots and statists. Either way, they did good work here.

Tab clearing
Enviroweenies and Obama want to do something about cow farts and belches. No, I'm not kidding.
Who would you listen to? Couple of leftists with few employees, or companies with LOTS of employees?
Ball player named Bryant actually has an opinion and speaks about it; according to the tolerant, he should shut up about it as black people aren't supposed to do that.
Oh, THAT election fraud.
Calypso Louie blames Jews again. Various black community 'leaders' and Democrats approve.
Asshole at Gawker wants climate-change 'deniers' arrested. For real.
Oh, and THAT election fraud(which was supposed to be almost nonexistent).
Mike Malloy threatens murder, thinks SYG law will protect him. 'Farging dirtbag' doesn't even begin to cover it.
For some reason a bunch of racists and bigots didn't want a reporter at the meeting.

That metallic 'clack' you just heard and felt?
It was every rifle in Finland being function-checked.
One of Russian President Vladimir Putin's closest ex-advisers has claimed that the ex-KGB agent ultimately wants to reclaim Finland for Russia.
Andrej Illiaronov, Putin's economic adviser between 2000 and 2005 and now senior member of the Cato Institute think tank, said that "parts of Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic States and Finland are states where Putin claims to have ownership."
...Illiaronov admits that Finland is not Putin's primary concern at present but, if not stopped in other areas of Eastern Europe, the issue will one day arise. Russian troops are currently massing on the eastern border of Ukraine, following Russia's recent annexation of Crimea.
How many descendents has Simo Häyhä?
And are the Russians stupid enough to want to find out?

It appears Gov. Howler has problems
With Democrats as well as Republicans. And he's trying to buy off 'moderate' gun owners. Without the press being invited; wonder why not...
What possible reason is there not to have the media invited? The head of a state agency is looking for public input on the Governor’s budget. Isn’t this newsworthy?
Since Howler is a Democrat, the chance of most media saying anything about being banned OR about the problems: just about zero.
And this is really bad: 11 districts with no representative because Cuomo is a coward.
...Cuomo hasn’t given any real explanation for not calling special elections … He probably doesn’t want 11 different campaigns that may include criticism of his policies and programs; or controversial actions such as the SAFE Act; or controversial statements such as those regarding “extreme conservatives.” …”
Why we laugh at people screaming 'Faux News!' while slobbering over CNN:
CNN says they're not covering the Gunrunner Yee story because it's 'local politics'. And they don't bother with such.
Unless it's a Republican or he says something non-PC, then it's Game On!
Speaking of Californicated,
A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from the state's Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an "x" in the box next to Democratic Party.
No corruption there, no....
Dear Mr. Weinstein:
You may have heard of this thing called the 1st Amendment; ring a bell?
No? You still want to imprison people for disagreeing with AGW?
I'm curious; are you personally going to show up with handcuffs to arrest people, or do you want to subvert officers of the state to trash the Constitution and jail people for not going along with the Preferred Narrative™? Assuming you actually believe this stuff you're spouting, you should be willing to do it yourself.
Come try.
Sincerely, etc.

American Fork PD, Utah: one more bunch of lying, vicious,
corrupt bastards hiding behind badges.
I'm not going to excerpt from this, just go read it. Note several things:
The county attorney was quite happy to conduct a crooked investigation.
NONE of the officers, for some reason, had their cameras on.
NONE of the officers gave a - fuck it, just go read about these assholes with badges.

as 'not REAL scientists!'...
Professor Richard Lindzen, formerly Alfred P Sloan Professor of Meteorology at Massachussetts Institute of Technology
John Christy, Professor of Atmospheric Science at the University of Alabama
Judith Curry, Chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech
and, from further in,
The reason it’s so significant is that it comes only three years after one of the APS’s most distinguished members – Professor Hal Lewis – resigned in disgust at its endorsement of what he called “the global warming scam.”
Excuse me a moment, there're some people whose heads I have to explode.
Ok, I'm back.
Common Core sucks. On multiple levels. And so do the schools doing this:
She also didn’t want her two children to take part in health fitness tests, believing that that information should remain private.
On Steiner’s orders, Lewis’s children were pulled out of class so that school officials could belatedly administer the BMI testing.
“They were singled out and weighed and measured,” said Lewis. “They were humiliated.”
"Your childrens' feelings do not matter, citizen! Only the dictates from above do!" Etc.
Speaking of school brass and cops who should be horsewhipped,
The Minnewaska Area School district suspended Stratton for a Facebook post — published outside of school — in which she said she hated a school hall monitor for “being mean.” Stratton then went back on the social media site and asked which of her connections ratted her out.
After the parent of one of Stratton’s friends complained to the school about the “sexual nature” of a Facebook chat, school officials brought the then-13-year-old girl into a room with a local sheriff and forced her to give up her Facebook password. Officials then searched her page in front her, all the while without consulting a parent.
They did sue, but not for nearly enough. "Citizen, everything your kid does is our business! And we must control them at all times, in what they say and do!"
Get this bullshit:
“The school’s intent wasn’t to be mean or bully this student, but to really remedy someone getting off track a little,” Schmidt said.
Schmidt, you're a lying bastard. You damn well intended to scare hell out of this kid and everyone else in the school. You suck, you miserable little control-freak bastard. And you should be fired.
On the bullshit 'punishment' for the officers in LA who damn near killed innocent people:
What professional officer can trust such officers? Not only did they demonstrate a lack of the most basic judgment necessary to function as police officers, they did it in a way that demonstrates that they are irredeemably dangerous, not only to themselves, but to their fellow officers and to the public.
The greatest damage is in the unilateral alteration of the social contract between the public and the police. No one expects police officers to be so timid as to allow killers to shoot them first before shooting back, and the law certainly does not require it. Every person of good will wants police officers to go home unscathed at the end of their shift. But they also need to know that police officers won’t panic and shoot up innocent women delivering newspapers while making the surrounding neighborhood look like a war zone.
The rule of law must apply to everyone. No citizen doing what those officers did should hope to escape decades in prison. No rational citizen should expect to escape the most severe consequences.
Which reminds me of something I juststoleborrowed,
That twit from Ebony who doesn't think blacks count if they're conservative? Ebony apologized for her.
You'll notice the twit did NOT apologize; apparently they decided that would be too micro-aggressive stressful for her to handle.

Senator Leland Yee, A+ from the Brady Center and
Super Villain!
I’ve got to hand it to Democrat state senator, Leland Yee. Most political scandals are the typical drug use, hookers, or bribery stuff. This guy reaches for the stars. He isn’t messing around. There is no half assed corruption here. If Yee had a machine that could control the weather he’d be a Batman villain.
He got busted in an FBI sting, taking millions of dollars in bribes, to smuggle RPGs and machineguns through brutal Chinese tong gangs, through the Ukraine, to rebel insurgents in the Phillipines. No. I’m not making any of that up.
The part that makes this all so awesome and hilarious is that the only reason people like me know who Yee is, is because he’s the primary asshole behind disarming law abiding Californians. Yes. He is the anti-gun poster child. He has an A+ from the Brady Center morons. (Hmmm… Now that he’s been caught smuggling rocket launchers to Muslim rebels, but he’s still a democrat, they might downgrade him to a B).
Speaking of villains, well, you journalists have trained the administration to know it can get away with this kind of crap, so I hope you're not surprised.
A reporter has been detained by Capitol Hill police for trying to ask a question of Environmental Protection Agency administrator Gina McCarthy.
And let's not let the Capital Police off in this bullshit, either.
Natter was eventually let go after police checked with their superiors and ran a background check on the reporter, determining he had the proper press credentials.
And, in a 'get the popcorn!' moment,

And, in a 'get the popcorn!' moment,
Responding to a threat that the “House of Cards” television series may leave Maryland if it doesn’t get more tax credits, the House of Delegates adopted budget language Thursday requiring the state to seize the production company’s property if it stops filming in the state…
Del. William Frick, a Montgomery County Democrat, proposed the provision, which orders the state to use the right of eminent domain to buy or condemn the property of any company that has claimed $10 million or more credits against the state income tax. The provision would appear to apply only to the Netflix series, which has gotten the bulk of the state credits. So assholes who mock the tea party want to be exempt from MORE taxes than they already are; and the pirates in Maryland want to steal their property if they stop production there... this is definitely a "I hope they both lose" moment.
A lesson from the range
Pair of them, actually:
Don't shoot reloads put together by someone else unless you know and trust their work.
And if you pull the trigger and don't get a proper 'boom', stop right there and make sure everything is clear. Or else.
Brand-new Para Ordnance .45, first gun he'd ever owned. Guy fired five rounds, #6 gave a very mild 'bang' so he racked the slide and fired #7.
#7 managed to blow both the stuck bullet from the squib and itself out, bulging the barrel and splitting it lengthwise in two places.
Better look at one split
The wonders of modern steel and heat-treatment: not a scratch or other mark on the frame or slide.

Ok, Director, so what is this 'severe discipline'?
And why didn't you say? Some 'personnel' reason, or did you decide that "Don't EVER get caught doing this again!" counts as 'severe'?
Why yes, my trust in the FBI is not exactly high right now.
Ask the editor for Ebony about a black conservative magazine, she assumes you're white. And winds up comparing black conservatives to cockroaches. And makes it plain that the views of black conservatives/libertarians(usually lumped together) are not worth attention. Nossir, no bigotry there!
