The father’s status also played a role in the FBI’s decision not to seek prosecution of Omar in 2013 after they investigated him for violent threats, attorneys for the shooter’s wife said. If Omar had gone to prison in that case, the infamous Pulse shooting might have been avoided.

Earlier this year, New England — located just a few hundred miles from the Marcellus Shale, one of the world’s largest natural gas fields — was forced to import a cargo of Russian liquefied natural gas. This was necessary because anti-energy activists have convinced local elected leaders to block new energy infrastructure, including pipelines that could bring American gas to the region. This is making households in the Northeast more dependent on imported energy, and forcing them to pay among the highest energy bills in the country. 

This was no accident. The Conservation Law Foundation, a prominent anti-energy group in Massachusetts, states on its website that importing natural gas from foreign counties is preferable to building new pipelines. The Sierra Club’s Massachusetts chapter has simply declared “No New Pipelines,” while the state’s attorney general thinks Russian LNG is better for the climate than piping in American fuel.

The March For Our Lives against gun violence, organized by kids for kids, quietly registered as a 501(c)(4) with the D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, The Washington Free Beacon reports — a designation that allows the March to keep its big money donors secret from prying eyes. 

According to WFB, the March, whose signature event is scheduled for this Saturday, decided to incorporate as a "social welfare" organization, and a non-profit, but not a 501(c)(3), a designation which would have allowed those who donated to the March to claim their contributions as tax deductions, but which would have required the March itself to submit a list of their contributors to the IRS.
Wonderful, isn't it.
The Huffington Post also discovered that while the kids are theoretically in charge, a "board of directors" that reads like a who's who of progressive activists will decide how the nearly $4 million the kids have raised is spent.

The Parkland studentsuseful idiots(there, fixed it for them) will serve as an "advisory board" with no apparent official say over how the funds are dispersed.

A philosophy professor at Siena College says that she left the committee on civil discourse because the thought of working with some conservative students was “making me miserable.” 

In an email obtained by Campus Reform, professor Jennifer McErlean strongly condemned the conservative students on her campus, voicing her desire to protest the upcoming “Let Freedom Ring” conference that is slated to feature several prominent political figures including investigative journalist James O’Keefe, lobbyist Roger Stone, and others.

Children in pre-K at Manhattan Country School will sing, "If I Had a Hammer" and "Paz y Libertad." Public schools like PS 321 in Brooklyn allowed children to do activities linked with the protests.

Couple of days ago got involved in a thread on Bookface in which someone who wanted to ban 'assault rifles' couldn't define what she wanted to ban.  I pointed out that someone with some practice could inflict the kind of damage used in her 'definition' with a 100-year-old bolt-action rifle, was called a liar, I told her to look up 'Mad Minute', and the response included "I didn't know they had magazines 100 years ago."

“There’s this whole concept with the Rothschilds — control the World Bank, as we all know — infusing dollars into major cities,” Mr. White said, according to video footage reviewed by The Post. “They really pretty much control the federal government, and now they have this concept called resilient cities in which they are using their money and influence into local cities.”

No one in the room, including Democratic Mayor Muriel E. Bowser, challenged Mr. White’s remarks. Ms. Bowser later said when reached by The Post that his comments were not acceptable.
