And to sue their asses off when called for.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of an elementary school student’s First Amendment rights after she was punished for adding the words “any life” to a picture of “Black Lives Matter.”
The student, with the initials B.B., said she added the message while in first grade in 2021, inspired by a lesson on Martin Luther King Jr. She shared the drawing with a friend.
The school principal told her the drawing was inappropriate and punished her, according to the Pacific Legal Foundation, which represented the family in the case. The principal forced her to apologize, banned her from giving drawings to classmates, and excluded her from recess for two weeks.

Was pointed out that some of the medications transexuals are prescribed
might well wind up fitting into the category of "Things that will cause us to say 'No' to buying a gun" on the ATF forms. Especially if Kennedy's study on them goes through.
That's been a major concern for a lot of people for years, those people and the stuff prescribed for ADHD and other things. And it's a good question as to just how bad some of them might turn out to be. Damned if anyone can believe what a lot of the pharma companies say, bad as a lot of their information has been on various things. And, since the drugs used on transsexual cases are on such a protected species for the left, that could get real interesting.
We'll see. As a general thing I hate the "This group cannot be allowed arms" idea, but this is a different thing: if it's the medications some are given that's screwing them up*, that's a different matter.
*I know, that's not counting the worthless 'counselors' and teachers in many cases who push kids to think "You may be the wrong gender, we can help with that and don't have to tell your parents!" Said asshats need to be fired. And the politicians and bureaucrats telling parents "If you don't support this, we'll take your kids away for their own safety" need to be dealt with as well.

Another reason to keep kids out of public schools, or at least
keep a damn close watch on things.
Business Insider's Matt Drange revealed in a recent report about the epidemic of teacher relationships many of the sordid details - including emoji-filled text messages, transcripts from investigations and disciplinary files.
Drange said, the pages 'documented grooming and groping, the sharing of d**k picks and porn, sexualized comments in classrooms, oral sex in bathrooms, and statutory rape,' that in some cases continued for years.
His report highlights a disturbing pattern that 'school administrators across the United States catastrophically failing to prevent abuse,' and there is no federal agency, he said, that tracks teacher sexual misconduct.
Drange said during his investigation, he requested disciplinary records and severance agreements from the ten largest school districts in all 50 states, and license revocations from every state's Department of Education, but his request was met with opposition.
Alabama, Iowa, and Virginia refused to release any records, he said. While other districts, asked to be compensated, in order for the request to be filled.
In his report, he wrote that the Hawaii Department of Education asked for $75,060. The Katy Independent School District in Texas wanted $125,352, and the Lincoln Public Schools in Nebraska invoiced $243,836.
While other districts, he revealed, never provided records, including Alaska's Bering Strait School District. In 2019, the BSSD paid $12.6 million to 13 sex abuse victims involving an instructor at the school.
And a real winner, from the People's Republic of Massachusetts,
Springfield Public Schools in Massachusetts, was another district he cited, that would not release any records and claimed it would be an 'invasion of the teachers' privacy outweighing any possible right of the public to know.'
Which, to suspicious me, sounds like "Go away, we're not admitting anything!"
Throw in this from Chicago. So kids are getting often lousy educations, and may be abused by teachers, and the schools- like in some of the crap that came out about the Edmond school district in Oklahoma- want to hide it or just make it go away.

More on the garbage in some Oklahoma schools
NEW: Students in Oklahoma schools have come forward and describe a culture of bullying, hazing, manipulation, and pressure to participate in disgusting dares like licking toes and armpits, spitting in people’s mouths, and having garbage thrown on you.
This has been going on for YEARS.
Full post, including video, here
I'm back to thinking of starting with a whipping post, followed by the firings and prosecutions.

Makes you wonder if some people become teachers
because that's where the kids are.
UNBELIEVABLE. @EdmondSchools has been holding feet licking and armpit licking events for years where students lick chocolate and peanut butter off of staff.
After video surfaced last week of another school in Oklahoma holding a feet licking event, these videos were uncovered.
You've got two choices: either both teachers and administrators are guilty, or they're so effing stupid they actually thought this was a good idea. Either way, they all need to go.
Just to make this more fun, the local radio news station at first was attributing all the noise about this being because 'that far-right activist website Libs of TicTok publicized it'. Ignore all else, they thought whoever brought this to our attention made the information suspect, or less bad?

'Professional Educators' once again screwing kids out of their futures
Or trying very hard do.
The father asked to remain anonymous for fear of retribution against his child by Seattle Public Schools. He said the other pieces of the worksheet were equally disturbing. (Take note of that: that he has reason to fear they'd cause harm to his child for revealing what's happening in the class, that's reason enough to get rid of these assholes)
The worksheet labels “objectivity,” “individualism,” and “perfectionism” as white supremacy. If students deny their own racism — or that any of the nine characteristics are legitimately racist — is also white supremacy. Denialism or being overly defensive is a racist example of an “entitlement to name what is an [sic] isn’t racism and that those with power have a right to be shielded from the stresses of antiracist work.”
World Literature and Composition students were told that “Worship of the Written Word” is white supremacy because it is “an erasure of the wide range of ways we communicate with each other.”
"If you're not a minority, and a proper oppressed one at that, you're born a racist and must abase yourself." Etc.
“My problem with this curriculum is that this is supposed to be a writing and literature class and lessons like these do nothing to help my kid become a better writer,” the father explained. “I’m sure Lincoln administration will point to the high ELA proficiency scores but the high proportion of HCC [highly capable] kids (40% of the student body) is a big factor. With so many smart, hard working kids (white supremacists) it’s easy to support these luxury beliefs but system-wide only 63% of kids are proficient in English. Is this really the best use of class time? ”
The father also wonders how many students will fall for this toxic thinking across Seattle schools where concepts around white supremacy are so clearly partisan.
Lots. Because most of their parents would probably rather sacrifice the kid to Moloch than be seen as guilty of BadThink by telling their kid this is bullshit. And with schools playing "Don't tell your parents about what is said and done in class!" by said Educators, others probably either don't know or are scared to fight it.

A couple of things to point to this morning
They need to fire a bunch of indoctrinators, and hire actual teachers.
Let’s dump the curriculum and teach Palestinian propaganda instead, said a group of Oakland (CA) teachers. They proposed an all-day “teach in.” Um, no, said district officials.
One early-elementary lesson proposed for the “teach in” encourages children to identify what they “will chant at a Palestine protest,” reports Jill Tucker in the San Francisco Chronicle. In an alphabet book titled P is for Palestine, the letter “I” represented “intifada,” which refers to armed uprisings by Palestinians against Israeli control of disputed land. (The book says the word means”rising up for what is right!”)
Note this:
“Only one third of students met or exceeded state English standards in Oakland Unified in 2023. One quarter met or exceeded math standards. Enrollment is declining.”
I repeat: fire all of them, and hire teachers.
Head of the climate summit says "I want to end fossil fuels, but “please, help me, show me a roadmap for a phase-out of fossil fuels that will allow for sustainable socio-economic development, unless you want to take the world back into caves.”
And the climatistas melt down. Again.

Germany is screwed.
And I'll bet the 'women's movement' types will make excuses for the rapists, just like they do for Hamas.
And I have to go do stuff now.

In some places it's even more urgent: get your kids the hell out of public schools.
The New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) is advocating for the demise of the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators: Reading, Writing and Math. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s signing of Bill S1553 would eliminate that requirement; NJEA called the test “an unnecessary barrier” hindering the alleviation of teacher shortages.
“When the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) adopted changes to the administrative code around teacher certification, it missed an opportunity to eliminate this requirement, which created an unnecessary barrier to entering the profession,” stated NJEA.
"We need more teachers, so let's get rid of those stupid requirements that they actually be able to teach! Incompetents who's support the union, that's what we need!"

Tell me you're a bunch of incompetent educators- and probably racist- without actually saying it
Currently, most students must pass Regents exams in English, math, science and social studies, he writes. Some retake the tests four or five times to earn a passing score, and critics say the requirement "may have led more low-income and Black students to drop out."
Betty Rosa, the state education commissioner, said the state wants to tackle graduation “through the lens of students” who have faced barriers in “access and opportunities.
In short, rather than try to improve students' mastery of reading, writing, math, science and social studies, educators want to make it easier for those who can't pass the exams to get a diploma.
Which also takes the pressure off of teachers to actually teach. At least in places where they're actually allowed to teach, but don't bother.
And they wonder why homeschooling and other than public schools have gotten so big.

This is the kind of shithead 'teacher' your kids or grandkids are dealing with
Meredith Aby-Keirstead—a social studies teacher at Kennedy High School in suburban Minneapolis—spoke at an Oct. 21 Freedom Road Socialist Organization panel, which aimed to contrast "China's socialist policies to the imperialist agenda of the United States." During her speech, however, Aby-Keirstead steered the conversation away from China, opting instead to praise the "wins of Palestinian freedom fighters" and advocate for terrorism against Israelis.
"When I hear people calling for a complete ceasefire, I think, 'No, that's not quite right,'" Aby-Keirstead said. "Because we only want one side to stop fighting." The social studies teacher went on to chant, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," a rallying cry for the Jewish state's destruction.
Aby-Keirstead's support for Hamas's ongoing attacks against the Jewish state shows that American K-12 schools are not immune from the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic rhetoric exploding on college campuses following the terror group's Oct. 7 assault.
Gee, I wonder what socialist studies she's pushing on the kids?

First, when a politician lies this much and publicly on such an easily checked matter,
say, their record of what they did with the lockdown bullshit, you know they're worried about the blowback.
Second, don't trust the public schools. Because they'll lie and then try to hide/destroy the evidence of what they're doing to your kids.
Third, I've heard about some of the racism in Hawaii before, here's a bit more of a rundown on it.
And now, I'm to get a shower and ignore the magic box for a while.

Meanwhile across the pond,
teachers are pulling the same crap they are here.
Schoolchildren are being taught about anal sex and orgasms before they have reached puberty and set 'masturbation' as homework, secretive lesson plans reveal.
Many teachers are 'indoctrinating' children with scientifically false claims about biological sex, presenting gender as fluid and furthering a narrative that people can be born in the wrong body.
It comes as the NHS is facing a mass legal action from 1,000 families who claim their children were rushed into taking life-changing puberty blockers' by the Tavistock Centre.
They also have the 'know your place, peasant, being a parent means nothing!' crap.
It follows a concerned mother being denied the right to see the content of the lessons being taught to her 15-year-old daughter in her Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) classes, which became compulsory three years ago.
Despite a judge refusing Clare Page the right to see the material, MailOnline can reveal that a wealth of questionable teaching resources are already available online.

This is why home schooling, and just about anything that means "Get your kids out of public schools",
have taken off.
[D]ozens of parents whose children have socially transitioned at school told The Times they felt villainized by educators who seemed to think that they — not the parents — knew what was best for their children.... Although some didn’t want their children to transition at all, others said they were open to it, but felt schools forced the process to move too quickly, and that they couldn’t raise concerns without being cut out completely or having their home labeled “unsafe.”
...
One mother in California shared messages that her teenager’s teacher had sent through the school’s web portal encouraging the student to obtain medical care, housing and legal advice without the parents’ knowledge. A lawsuit filed against a school district in Wisconsin included a photo of a teacher’s flyer posted at school that stated: “If your parents aren’t accepting of your identity, I’m your mom now.”
...
I’ve been a teacher for quite a while. Teaching has always been loosely aligned with liberal values, but I never felt like I was part of an explicit political organization until the last few years. The zeal with which school systems have pursued and advocated for left-wing identity politics no longer feels like being “supportive,” it feels like we’re being persuasive: join us, children, as we dismantle the evil systems (systemic racism! the patriarchy! the gender binary!) that your parents have wrought.
It’s frankly a little bit creepy and cultish at times, and it needs to stop.
God knows how much damage these asshats have done with their cult, and most of them probably will never pay any real price for it; they'll just keep calling the parents names and pushing kids into some other damaging behavior in the name of being 'caring'.

And while Chicago keeps circling the drain, with the Mayor blaming other people, states,
and the feds for their problems, this is going on:
Dylan Sharkey reported, "Chicago Board of Education Inspector General Will Fletcher reported 470 sexual complaints against Chicago Public School employees from students in 2022.
"The report details students being abused, groped, groomed, assaulted and threatened by school officials.
"One investigation found a former Junior ROTC staff member had sex with a 16-year-old high school student for a year. When he learned there was an investigation, the staff member threatened to kill the girl and her family if she cooperated with investigators."
And on, and on.
Now throw in
Chicago Chalkbeat reported, "Chicago Public Schools’ watchdog is raising red flags about sharply increasing extra pay for school staff in recent years, rising sexual misconduct complaints, and a troubling practice of schools mislabeling students as transfers when they’re missing school.
"The district’s Office of Inspector General detailed these and dozens of other instances of fraud, misconduct, and wrongdoing in a sweeping 120-page annual report released Thursday.
Holy freaking crap. This is on top of most kids getting a crap 'education' in their schools.

Why so many people are yelling at the school boards, teachers, and admin clowns:
They leave morons like this in the classroom.
Hey, if you're worried about being a 'white savior' for teaching kids how to use the language properly,
Quit.
Get the hell out. That way there are two goods: you won't feel that way, and you won't be screwing up kids lives by refusing to teach them to use the language properly.
And then we have these bastards:
Fracis W. Parker School in Chicago, IL - where the Dean of Students Joseph Bruno was caught on video talking about giving students butt plugs and dildos- sent out this email to parents saying that they stand in full support of the Dean.
Of course they do.

Ah, more of those wonderful teachers and the stuff we're assured isn't happening.
One of the things that the Gender Woo-Woo cult likes to do is create Gay/Straight Alliance clubs in school that sound like support groups but are actually Gender Woo-Woo indoctrination clubs. This is where kids will be told that girls can be boys, pronouns like “fish-self” are valid identities, and genital mutilation surgery and drugs are the answer to gender dysphoria. And they know they’re being deceptive because they say it outright. In the following clip, the website’s co-founder Kieren Slattery says, “Something I do say to students and caregivers, though I mostly say it to students … I don’t ever tell anyone else who came [to gay club], so I would never tell their adults or other students in the school or even other teachers.”
...
The second clip shows the pink-haired fella discussing how he hides his gay club from parents. “The only formal communication that we’ve sent home was to 4th- and 5th-grade students,” he said. “It wasn’t a permission slip; it was something that was a one-way communication about our club.” That doesn’t sound too bad until he admits that he made the announcement intentionally vague in order not to raise any concerns from parents. “We intentionally left it broad in that it was a club about acceptance, tolerance, diversity, and identity,” he said. But that’s not what the clubs are about. They are about affirming magical gender identity and leading your child down the path to medicalization and a lifetime of pain and dependence on Big Pharma.
Let's see, we have 'Do not tell your parents what we're doing', 'Don't say anything to other teachers or ANYONE else', and sending dishonest notes to parents to hide it. Sounds like groomer behavior to me. Every one of the bastards involved in this crap should be fired and blackballed from ever teaching again.

Yeah, 'groomers' is a good term for them. The parents have a right to be damned mad.
Teachers at a school district in Wisconsin are being instructed to hide their students’ changing gender identities from parents on the grounds that “parents are not entitled to know,” and that it is “knowledge that must be earned,” according to leaked training documents.
...
One of the slides in the training session reads, “Remember, parents are not entitled to know their kids’ identities. That knowledge must be earned. Teachers are often straddling this complex situation. In ECASD, our priority is supporting the student.”
...
During training on microaggressions, Eau Claire teachers were taught about the differences between microinsults, microinvalidations, and microassaults. Examples of microaggressions that the training noted include: the concept of color blindness, or that “America is a melting pot;” the “myth of meritocracy,” or the belief that “the most qualified person should get the job;” assuming any student’s gender; and “sexist/heterosexist language,” including “being forced to choose between male and female when completing basic forms.”

Why Government Schooling Came to America
Control.
And the teachers unions are following an old script:
Horace Mann, the 19th-century godfather of American government schooling, summed up the anti-parent premise of state-run education in these terms: “We who are engaged in the sacred cause of education are entitled to look upon all parents as having given hostages to our cause.”[6]
In 1864, the state superintendent of public instruction for California stated unequivocally the role that the State should play in the education of children: “The child should be taught to consider his instructor, in many respects, superior to the parent in point of authority. . . . [T]he vulgar impression that parents have a legal right to dictate to teachers is entirely erroneous.” To enforce the point, California Progressives even denied parents the right to criticize government schoolteachers. The California Penal Code declared: “Every parent, guardian, or other person, who upbraids, insults, or abuses any teacher of the public schools, in the presence or hearing of a pupil thereof, is guilty of a misdemeanor.”[7]
Backed by the State’s monopoly on coercive force, the new government schools created in nineteenth century America seized, in effect, children from their parents via compulsory attendance laws and then indoctrinated them with a government-mandated curriculum. What parents wanted for their children was beside the point. As the Wisconsin Teachers’ Association declared in 1865, your “children are the property of the state.”[8]
