Biden was supposed to be reelected, then have to resign because of health and make Harris President?  Or maybe they hoped they- staff, Pelosi, Schumer & Co.- could keep using the autopen to do things a pretend the 'President' did them as long as possible before he had to withdraw?

Whatever the hell they actually had in mind, they knew their tame little journalists would carry water for them.

Said journalists being the ones who did it, and now are desperately trying to 

A: Pretend they knew NOTHING(insert Sgt. Schulz picture here) about Biden's condition to try to save what reputation they have, and
B: Try real hard to make money from their confession that they're either incompetent or completely corrupt.

And let's not forget a HUGE thing: WHO the hell was using the autopen to sign things illegally, and on how many things?  Probably from Day 1.

This is one of those 'There are people who belong in prison for this, but we'll never get the information to do it' things.

It's unclear why the Florida lawmaker and ousted Democratic National Committee chairwoman had been battling law enforcement over the computer; however, her counsel began negotiating this week with Capitol Police in connection with the probe.
'plans to allow', 'began negotiation with Capital Police'(y'know, the people she threatened for not giving the laptop to her?).  Such bullshit.

There have also been additional developments related to the investigation that was attempted by Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP) and the Carney’s Point police. The Moores’ attorney Evan Nappen contacted TheBlaze with an update. On Monday, DCPP informed Shawn Moore that he would not need to open his gun safe for their review…unless he wanted to do that. Additionally, the DCPP worker who allegedly threatened to take away Moore’s children if he did not cooperate with them, has contacted Shawn to tell him that he had passed several checks and once they got responses a couple more, DCPP believes they can close the case within two weeks. If they do complete their work within that time period, the agency will have spent an entire month investigating a single complaint that was filed anonymously.
Note that this is AFTER the clown tried to force entry into their home(no warrant, just demands) and made the threats.  What the eff are the 'several checks', and the 'couple more'?

House Speaker Chris Benge has refused to answer questions posed by The McCarville Report Online about Governor Henry's plan to install highway traffic cameras to catch vehicle owners without the required insurance.

Benge's spokeswoman, Jennifer Monies, responded to TMRO's repeated questions today with, "I am sorry, but the Speaker does not have a comment on either question."
Well, he damn well needs to have some; he's supposed to be a public servant, not a private citizen talking about personal matters.

After investigating, Ohio's independent inspector general concluded there was "no reasonable basis" for the searches. Wurzelbacher subsequently filed a civil rights lawsuit against the three employees. Now, as Bill Hershey reported in the Dayton Daily News, Democratic Attorney General Richard Cordray had agreed to represent them in court.

The problem with Cordray's decision is that an Ohio statute states, "The attorney general may not represent an employee who acts recklessly, maliciously or in bad faith outside the scope of his employment." The inspector general's conclusion that there was "no reasonable basis" for the searches suggests that they were done outside the scope of the workers' employment and should absolve the attorney general from the responsibility of defending these individuals.

Let's see, illegal use of databases and position, and instead of prosecuting them the AG is defending them in a civil suit by the one they wronged. Wonderful people you have in high places, Ohio.

Former acting State Police Superintendent Preston Felton admitted breaking state law in connection with the Dirty Tricks scandal involving Eliot Spitzer's use of the state police against a political foe, public-integrity officials said yesterday.

The decision from the Public Integrity Commission closes an outstanding chapter of the "Troopergate" scandal, which was the beginning of the end for then-Gov. Spitzer.
This should have been The End for Spitzer; this was a gross abuse of power and violation of law. He, as well as every other boob involved, should have been fired from their position and prosecuted for this.

Of course, as long as the target is the correct type, an awful lot of the media and politicians don't mind privacy and other laws being violated(see 'Joe the plumber'); instead they'll make excuses for the criminal acts.
