then a bunch of people in OCPD, the prosecutors office, and the lab need to be fired. Or in jail. Or both.
And, if correct, a bunch of local journalists have proven my definition: Journalist = Lousy Excuse For Reporter.

"I support your freedom of speech, but
shut up" the university explained.
“It was brought to my attention that students were uncomfortable with the letter that Nicole read during open mic last week,” the official wrote in the email. “While I am in support of your freedom of speech, I was implored to reach out you both by more than one student.”
“Anytime I receive a complaint I have to follow up,” she continued. “The unwritten policy has always been after one complaint, you receive a verbal warning and any complaint after than may result in being asked to not perform at open mic. I’ve already had to utilize this unwritten rule once this semester.”
'Unwritten rule'. Translation: "We won't put this in writing because we could be sued or something."
And Marx forbid some of the snowflakes be made uncomfortable by what someone says! What do some people think this is, a place to learn?

One more "Yes, but he has the right politics,
so keep your mouth shut about him."
So: another abusive dirtbag, who's also corrupt as hell, but he was a good 'progressive' so all the "We must protect women/clean up politics/save Gaia!" pretenders ignored it. Kind of a pattern, isn't it?

I wonder when some hoplophobe will announce, "Well, yeah, but at least
they're not using GUNS!"
Britain's knife crime epidemic has spread to the Home Counties as stabbings are now more likely in Bedfordshire than in Merseyside.
Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Warwickshire, Norfolk and north Wales' rates of knife crime have all increased by more than 100 per cent in the past three years, while London's rate only increased by 20 per cent.
Because it's so much less troubling for people to be stabbed to death than to be shot. Or something.

When idiots run your city,
you get statements like this:
..."But we need companies that are profitable and making billions of dollars every year to help with the folks that are being forced out of housing and ending up on the street."
Yet you're doing everything you can to give them more reasons to get the hell out of your city. Three guesses how that will end.
The evils of socialized medicine were on full display during the few days the world watched Alfie Evans suffer to death at the hands of the British government’s National Healthcare System (NHS).
After his death, the Daily Signal decided to get the comments of the 15 Democratic senators currently co-sponsoring the “Medicare for All Act of 2017,” spearheaded byDemocratic Socialist Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
According to the Daily Signal, what they got in return was an eerie silence from the Democrats who apparently decided to go dark after the world watched their beloved system of choice fail so spectacularly:

He didn't shoot him, club him, nothing like that:
He tackled him. That's it. And the response:
Officer Guzley remains on patrol but is awaiting potential discipline. One of Guzley’s own supervisors filed the complaint against him with Seattle’s Office of Police Accountability.
The investigation is for "failure to de-escalate." The case remains open, but the recommendation is for Guzley to receive a two-day suspension without pay.
Read the whole thing to find out just how fucking stupid this is. And just how much that supervisor needs that badge shoved up his ass.

Is there something about selfie culture that degrades the brain,
or were they that damned stupid to start with?
Bhatara then spotted an injured bear and for some reason, decided to take a selfie with the creature, according to the report. When the man
approached, the bear’s fight instinct immediately kicked in.
“Bhatara died on the spot,” forest ranger Dhanurjaya Mohapatra told the news outlet.
Remember when the left cared about free speech?
To borrow from Michael Williamson, me neither.
A commission of Berkeley faculty, students formed in 2017 after violent and costly student protests called its commitment to free speech into question. Their monthslong study of the issue resulted in the conclusion that “ultra-conservative rhetoric” by the likes of Milo Yiannopoulos and Ann Coulter only exists to “advance a facile narrative that universities are not tolerant of conservative speech.”
Translation from NewSpeak: "Those people should not be allowed to speak, at least not here, because we don't like it and it makes us look bad when we riot."

Nice when the enemy finally admits openly what they are
A Democratic congressman has proposed outlawing “military-style semiautomatic assault weapons” and forcing existing owners to sell their weapons or face prosecution, a major departure from prior gun control proposals that typically exempt existing firearms.
And he'd define 'assault weapon' as anything he wants to ban.
According to Swalwell, his policy is modeled on Australia’s mandatory gun buyback laws, which were instituted under a conservative government after a gunman killed 35 people at a popular tourist site in 1996. Supporters credit the campaign with a broad reduction in gun violence and the country hasn’t suffered a similar mass shooting in the years since.
A: Bullshit; that claim has been debunked numerous times.
B: You notice how careful they are not to use the real term for this: confiscation.
The only difference in these people from past rantings is they're now open about what they want: total control. And they admit they're willing to jail or kill anyone who won't fall into line.

I'd never heard of acquitted-conduct sentencing before
And it seems like one of those things that causes people to think a judge needs to be dragged out of the courtroom, stripped of that black robe, and flogged.
That any judge has EVER been allowed to get away with this is disgusting.

'Almost comically corrupt' was one of the reasons I gave someone
for Clinton not being elected; but there's really nothing funny about this crap.
Why the Clinton Foundation is a charity fraud. Exhibits running many times through all letters in the English alphabet show plainly, to those who choose to look, that the organization using Federal Employer Identification Number 31-1580204 has operated as if it were above the law.
...
The Clinton Foundation has attempted to amend its articles of incorporation several times to change its name, but not to add to, change, or otherwise revise its authorized purposes. This means that the Clinton Foundation has never held lawful power to "fight HIV/AIDS" or "fight climate change" or provide disaster relief internationally or domestically, yet its many marketing brochures, public filings, and press releases detail radical alterations in professed purposes starting by 2002.
Moreover, ongoing, close review of public records reveals that the Clintons have traveled the world at foundation expense while letting it also pay for numerous employees' handling their affairs, whose cost should properly have been borne by the Clintons out of their after-tax incomes.
And on, and on. And then this:
What actually happened is that starting Oct. 23, 1997, the Clintons created a super-charged "post-presidential" slush fund that they never expected the IRS to audit, or U.S. attorneys anywhere to prosecute.
Gee, I wonder why they expected that?

Speaking of gifts that keep on giving,
In the United States, diseases spread by mosquito, flea and tick bites tripled from 2004 to 2016, federal health officials say in a new report.
During that time, there were more than 640,000 cases of vector-borne
diseases.
And a key part:
“The data show that we’re seeing a steady increase and spread of tick-borne diseases, and an accelerating trend of mosquito-borne diseases introduced from other parts of the world,” says Petersen. “We need to support state and local health agencies responsible for detecting and responding to these diseases and controlling the mosquitoes, ticks and fleas that spread them.”
My, however could that be happening...
Some is undoubtedly "I went on vacation to 'Y', and got bit by a mosquito/tick, and this happened!" The rest? Remember all the illegal alien kids pushed through Mexico a couple of years ago? Remember the reports from Border Patrol of all the diseases and bugs they were carrying?

Ah, the idiot who keeps on giving
And giving, and giving...
...But we also think that sometimes West talks out of turn and perhaps he needs some assistance in helping him to formulate some of his thoughts.
Coming from someone who, half the time, seems unable to think. Or make sense.

Still don't overly give a damn, but
some of this ought to be passed around.
A little more of what a bastard that leftist hero FDR was.
...They make it clear that the question of where to settle the Jews had been on FDR’s mind for years. While he was uncertain about whether they would be better off on the slopes of the Andes or the savannahs of central Africa, there was one place he knew he didn’t want them: the United States of America.
That self- and Democrat-proclaimed paragon of virtue Comey: not hardly.
Appears we're in a real solar minimum, with all that that might mean.
Three things about the current mess at the EffingBI.
Ah, Starbucks; they'll use you for their own purposes, and the more you crawl for them, the worse it'll get. You're now basically taking orders from some people who hate Jews.
Preparing for school shootings and similar:
The lessons here were many and fairly obvious. Sitting around waiting to be shot is a recipe for disaster. Movement is good, distractions are good, fighting back is good, and combinations of all three is even better.
