No crap? Fake reports of violent crime are bad?

But Flanagan also expressed fear about what would happen if the Rolling Stone story, which has done so much to raise awareness about rape within fraternity culture, unraveled. “[I]f this turns out to be a hoax, it is going to turn the clock back on their thinking 30 years,” she said.

More broadly, Flanagan said that if the story isn't true, “it is going to cause so much trouble in the area of reforming fraternity sexual assault, I can’t even tell you.”

Well, no shit.  Journalists pushing fake stories and false reports tend to do that.  Especially with rape, when we've got SJWs calling anything they disapprove of rape.

Also, about that 'awareness of rape within fraternity culture' noise, yeah, if this story is fake it'll definitely cause a lot of 'Rape culture in fraternities?  Bullshit.' blowback.

Sounds like some people at the Salvation Army need introduction to a cluebat.  Or spending a few nights in a car in freezing weather with someone telling them "It's YOUR fault!"
A family in Johnson City, TN, found this out recently when, on a freezing cold night, they asked the organization for shelter. But because their family of five contained a 15-year-old boy, they were turned down.
...
Lejeune says his wife, their 15 year-old son, 16 year-old daughter and five year-old son, all down on their luck, have been living in their car for the last several weeks.

So instead the family headed to their car. The temperature: 18 degrees.
Some people who actually gave a damn helped out.  A lot.  And then?  Oh yeah, it turned out freaking GREAT.
And after that, the Salvation Army did take the family in—minus the teen boy.

He's not sleeping on the streets. He's now in a mental health facility. He had a breakdown, his dad says, because he thought it was his fault the family was turned away from shelter.
Did I say cluebat?  Howzabout a bullwhip, liberal application thereof?

Next time some Democrat or leftist(is there a difference anymore?) whines about 'no money for important things!' throw this at them:
$75 per individual per day, for four months.

According to documents obtained by Judicial Watch, that’s how much the federal government is paying for the housing, food and needs of thousands of illegal aliens who crossed into the United States this summer, at just two military bases. The documents show that the federal government’s Department of Health and Human Services has paid an eye-popping $186,129,786 to the Baptist Children and Family Services for four months of care for thousands of illegal aliens, at a time when Democrats complain of government “austerity.”

$75/day is $19,500/year iffn' my calculator aint broke.

Around here I can get a weekly motel room for $35/day and spend maybe as much as $20/day on fast food for 3 meals/day. What am I supposed to do with the remaining $20/day?

stay safe.
