I think it was Limbaugh who called Amanpour a war slut,
"... “It's been a terrible, terrible two years for them because not only are they, they're — you know — they're probably being treated better than the average Gazan, because they are the pawns and the chips that Hamas had. Now, Hamas has given up all its leverage, by the way, by giving them all up. So, that is a victory for the Israeli side.”
Yeah. Hostages beaten, starved, tortured, raped, often murdered, but 'that's better than the average Gazan was treated'.
Pissed off enough people that CNN made her read an apology. Don't they have such wonderful people?

Ever see 'That 70's Show'?
Apparently that goes for media asshats as well.
A Washington Post columnist who was fired after misquoting slain free speech activist Charlie Kirk and is now preparing to take legal action— screaming she’s a casualty of censorship and discrimination.
However, an investigation by The Post found Karen Attiah has a history of trying to blame others for her poor work.

"I had PTSD because those people blamed us! If Trump hadn't stood up
And the downside?
That slight rumbling the northeastern US can feel is people starting to pack to get the hell out of New York.
"You have to go to college!" they cry. Except
“In Aspen, I sat and listened to Larry Fink say we need 500,000 electricians in the next couple of years—not hyperbole.”
“The BlueForge Alliance, who oversees our maritime industrial base—that’s 15,000 individual companies who are collectively charged with building and delivering nuclear-powered subs to the Navy … calls and says, we’re having a hell of a time finding tradespeople. Can you help?”
“I said, I don’t know, man … how many do you need? He says, 140,000.”
...
“The automotive industry needs 80,000 collision repair and technicians.”
“Energy, I don’t even know what the number is, I hear 300,000, I hear 500,000.”
“There is a clear and present freakout going on right now. I’ve heard from six governors in the last six months. I’ve heard from the heads of major companies.”
Sounds like a lot of jobs that don't require you to go into debt to a college.
But you must trust the courts! They say so!
Federal judge James Boasberg advised Chief Justice John Roberts and some two dozen other judges that his D.C. colleagues were “concern[ed] that the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts leading to a constitutional crisis,” according to a memorandum obtained exclusively by The Federalist. That Judge Boasberg and his fellow D.C. District Court judges would discuss how a named Defendant in numerous pending lawsuits might respond to an adverse ruling is shocking. Equally outrageous is those judges’ clear disregard for the presumption of regularity — a presumption that requires a court to presume public officials properly discharged their official duties.
...
Donald Trump, however, is not merely the president: He is a Defendant in scores of lawsuits, including multiple cases in the D.C. District Court. As such, this conversation did not concern generic concerns of the judiciary, but specific discussions about a litigant currently before the same judges who expressed concern to the Chief Judge of the D.C. District Court that the Trump Administration would disregard the court’s orders.
Judge Boasberg’s comments reveal he and his colleagues hold an anti-Trump bias, for the Trump Administration had complied with every court order to date (and since for that matter). The D.C. District Court judges’ “concern” also went counter to the normal presumption courts hold — one that presumes public officials properly discharged their official duties. Apparently, that presumption does not apply to the current president, at least if you are litigating in D.C.
And what is both troubling and ironic is that only a few days later, Judge Boasberg, in a case in which he completely lacked jurisdiction, as the Supreme Court would later confirm, entered a lawless order commanding the Trump Administration to halt removals to El Salvador. So, one of the judges concerned about Trump following the law, ignored the law. Nonetheless, Judge Boasberg would later find “the Trump Administration committed criminal contempt of court” by failing to turn the planes around or fly the gang members back to the U.S., even though the court’s written (and unlawful) injunction ordered neither.
Sounds to me like the Chief Justice needs to have some words with some judges. Or else, sooner or later, face up to actions to get rid of some of those judges, the idea of which seems to horrify him so.

Taylor Lorenz: not just a hypocritical asshat journalist,
Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz on Monday pushed a false claim that a Los Angeles synagogue was auctioning off Palestinian land this week—a conspiracy theory that led to violent, anti-Semitic protests outside the Jewish house of worship on Sunday.
Lorenz—who covers social media for the Post and often complains about being targeted by online harassment—reposted multiple comments on X, formerly Twitter, defending the synagogue protesters, promoting the false allegations, and slamming the media, including her former employer, the New York Times, for failing to give the allegations oxygen. The synagogue was in fact hosting an industry expo on real estate investing in Israel, and the false claims that Adas Torah was selling Palestinian land appear to have originated from radical anti-Israel groups, including Code Pink and the Palestinian Youth Movement, according to social media posts.
...
In a separate incident this week, Lorenz also defended former Bernie Sanders spokeswoman Briahna Joy Gray’s remarks that the media should report on "Israel training dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners," another unsubstantiated conspiracy theory.
Lorenz said this was a "claim that’s being reported all over X," and Gray was "just asking if any U.S. papers have investigated the claims."
"It’s not like she’s asking about some random thing, it’s been a major topic of discussion on X all day."
Ah yes, that's some major research she did.
And yes, the colors and embedding links works again.

Professional Journlism on display
Glug!
MSNBC's mutiny was the newsroom equivalent of what too often befalls conservative speakers on college campuses.
"Cancel him!"
"Boot her!"
"SHUT UP!"
The only thing missing at MSNBC was a mob of black-clad bookers breaking cameras and setting makeup rooms ablaze.
To be accurate they'd have to describe themselves as Professional Whore Journalists

Aw, are the poor proggies all upset at being told 'No'?
A new Washington Post report slammed “conservatives and libertarians” on Wednesday for working to legally block future pandemic lockdowns and other epidemic related mandates after seeing their effects during the COVID-19 outbreak.
The paper accused them of engaging in a “populist rejection” of pandemic measures that have left American’s public health institutions “defanged” and unprepared for a subsequent pandemic.
You're welcome.
The article, by Lauren Weber and Joel Achenbach, made the complaint, “Not even the president can force federal agencies to issue vaccine or testing mandates to thwart its march.”
It then blamed right-wingers, saying, “Conservative and libertarian forces have defanged much of the nation’s public health system through legislation and litigation as the world staggers into the fourth year of covid. At least 30 states, nearly all led by Republican legislatures, have passed laws since 2020 that limit public health authority.”
Note: If a lot of said authorities hadn't been such lying bastards, it would've made a real difference.
The story hammered the point that “health officials and governors in more than half the country are now restricted from issuing mask mandates, school closures, and other protective measures or must seek permission from their state legislatures before renewing emergency orders,” thanks to conservatives.
Again: you're welcome.
Over at the Fox story,
Conservative and libertarian forces have defanged much of the nation’s public health system through legislation and litigation as the world staggers into the fourth year of covid.

As Michael Z. WIlliamson says, leftists lie.*
PBS NewsHour promoted that strange public-relations exercise, which flies in the face of the timeline. NPR also helped in this effort to deny DeSantis a win. But what made this truly eye-opening is Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart claiming he was in the first generation of his family "to not have to pick cotton." Capehart grew up with his mother in New Jersey (his father died early in his life). He's implying his mother had to pick cotton. Where do they pick cotton in New Jersey?
...
And one thing I like to remind people, particularly young people, history is not really history when you're talking about African Americans in this country. My cousins and I are the first generation in my family to not have to pick cotton. We are the first generation that did not have to live under Jim Crow. I'm 55 years old. That's how long this has been a democracy.
What caused all this upset? DeSantis didn't allow a college to teach Critical Race bullshit to students. Which is unforgivable. Teaching kids to be racist against the right people should be required in the view of clowns like Capehart.

MSNBC, always able to disappoint
Apparently it's a unknown thing to them, but talking about the Constitution is what the Supreme Court is supposed to do...

Let us speak of stupidity,
Professor Huang Heqing of Zhejiang University, one of the most eminent schools in China, is teaching his students that all of Western history is a hoax and that everything, from the pyramids to Shakespeare to the Mona Lisa, are modern fakes meant to belittle China.
How dumb are journalists? A lot of them, very.
Throw in that a lot of Professional Educators and university bigshots... jeez, racism and stupidity, and it's getting people sued, as it should.
I suggest a law: you turn a foreign species loose, you will be fed to it. In pieces, if necessary.
Asshats who insist terrorists must have understanding and the best legal representation available are pissed that Trump had a good lawyer.
More idiot and racist academics.

This. Is. CNN.
A CNN journalist deleted his tweet and issued an apology after being called out for spreading coronavirus misinformation by critics including former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson.
That's the start, I'm just going to quote a couple of the responses he got:
Berenson slammed Feldscher for sharing such alarming numbers.
"Fact check: you can’t be this dumb," Berenson reacted. "Even if the herd
immunity estimate of 60% is right (it’s wrong), this CNN doesn’t know
the difference between reported cases and actual infections, which are
10x as high. So his estimate is off by a factor of at least 10x (likely
much more)."
...
Berenson commended Feldscher to taking ownership of his tweet but slammed his news organization for allowing "nonstop panic porn" throughout the pandemic.
"I'm glad he deleted the tweet. If only CNN could go back and delete the last six months of nonstop panic porn... But it's a start," Berenson told Fox News.
Yeah, but panic porn is their big thing, they actually try to stop they'll probably go into withdrawal.

Victim beats the crap out of him.
CNN not happy. And fucking stupid.
UFC fighter Polyana Viana reveals the criticisms she faced after her moment of vigilantism went viral
...
A year ago UFC star Polyana Viana took the law into her own hands.
As the man at GCT says It’s called self-defense, you simpering twit! Clearly, the author would much rather criminals take whatever the hell they want and never face the consequences of poor victim selection.

This. Is. CNN.
And yet, as unsurprising as the diversity issue in the Trump era has become, it’s still worth pointing out from time to time, especially as the country approaches the 2020 presidential election in earnest.

Tab clearing
Because changing the law by fiat is how it's supposed to work. If you think you're a noble among commoners.
Yes, Antifa is a terrorist organization.
This is one real idiot with a badge. So, we have shooting when he shouldn't have, compounded with lying on a sworn statement. Unfortunately, the chances of him being prosecuted for either are about zero.
Professional Journalists.
"We need to make all those people stop driving."
Because the bad results are always the fault of the US.
“If we reach a point at which our elites — almost all of whom have college degrees, and almost all of whom credit those degrees as the reason for their success — begin to disdain and dismiss those who do not have degrees, we will reach a point at which we have created a de facto cultural underclass. In a nation premised upon equality, this would be a disastrous social development.”
Got news for you, guy: we're already there.

Definitely time for popcorn
"If you don't speak and vote the way we want you to you aren't REALLY black or brown!" Oh yeah, that's going over well.
This is the same kind of crap a bunch of the Evil Party has been throwing at any minority group member who doesn't toe their line for years; now it's being used on them, and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of crapheads.
Speaking of leftist asshats,
The Communist Origins of Antifa
Yes, this is how stupid a bunch of the left has become:
Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank, the two primary founders of Home Depot are both Jewish.
Marcus is also a huge philanthropist supporting everything from the Atlanta Aquarium to a foundation for developmentally disabled children.
But being Republicans, at least one who supports Trump, that makes them White Supremacists. Jewish White Supremacists.
Also from GFZ, more idiocy from Media Matters

"It's not racist when WE say it"
Same line for a lot of crap the left does: if someone on the center or right said anything CLOSE to this, these same people would crap their pants in outrage.
Of course, they're real picky about who they'll attack for actions toward women as well. Because "That's different!" or something.
On a different subject we have apologists for the BATFEIEIO, and a bunch of bitching agents: "Stop blaming us for what we've done!" is the basic line of it.
Some other LE bullshit:
According to the Detroit News, Officer Bradley Clark and Sgt. Paul Glaza were charged Friday in 36th District Court with second-degree home invasion, misconduct in office, malicious destruction of property under $200, and entering without a homeowner’s permission in connection with the alleged incident Jan. 22.
“It is alleged that (the officers) were part of the burglary task force, and entered a home without a search warrant at 22550 block of Pembroke,” Assistant Wayne County Prosecutor Maria Miller said in a statement. “They also did not have an arrest warrant for the person they were searching for, who was not in the house. They instead detained and arrested the homeowner.”
Chances of them actually facing jail time, or a serious fine: probably about zero. It IS encouraging they're actually being charged. It'll probably take a lawsuit against the department(probably a judge will say "Qualified Immunity" to protect the officers) to get his costs covered.
But what will the department care? It's other people's money.

At some point Twatter is going to find itself in serious trouble over this crap,
Conservatives/libertarians can get blocked/shadowbanned/kicked off because some leftists whines about them, but crap like this? 'no violation of the Twatter rules'.
This is bullshit, but she did it anyway.
because she's either a liar, or incompetent.
And they whine and scream when someone calls them fake news.
It’s not science I don’t trust – it’s the scientists
PETA went after a seafood place called Jimmy's. They responded. I wish there was a Jimmy's here, I'd have lunch there just to support them.
