Nice Work.Glue is not actually necessary, cellophane tape works well too, and you can just cut the end off the case.Just be caeful not to use in a choked barrel!
Something to seal the end from moisture, yeah, shouldn't take much
The plastic wad is a pretty good seal to start with.
