doubling-down on the NAACP calling the tea parties racist:
Might I add my own P.S.? All those who wore sheets a long time ago have now lifted them off and started wearing [applause], uh, clothing, uh, with a name, say, I am part of the tea party. Don’t you be fooled.
Oh, we're not; we know exactly what kind of RWPP you are, you and those other clowns who've decided to smear a massive piece of the country in the name of trying to push a racist and socialist agenda. Screw you, Lee.
On the subject of socialist/progressive dirtbags, this time in a good context,
A judge had resentenced a 70-year-old civil rights lawyer to 10 years in prison for letting a jailed Egyptian sheik communicate with his radical followers.
Federal Judge John Koeltl sentenced Lynne Stewart in Manhattan after she pleaded with him to reimpose the two-year, four-month sentence he had originally given her in 2006. She said she has been diminished since her November imprisonment.
An appeals court had ordered a new sentencing, saying the judge needed to consider whether she committed perjury. Koeltl says she did and he says she lacked remorse after her first sentencing.
Well, hell, I hope she IS 'diminished'; she's a bleeping traitor and liar and oathbreaker. Actually having to pay the price is a bitch, isn't it, Stewart?
Confederate Yankee beats Think Progress about the head and shoulders with the truth.
Think Progress misrepresented everything this video and the Tea Party stands for, and against.
If staffers, including editor-in-chief Faiz Shakir should not be terminated for this behavior, I'd like to know why.
Probably won't be; probably because they're a bunch of progressive dirtbags who don't seem to care much about things like 'truth'.
Should somebody actually conservative/libertarian run against Brown? I'd say yes. Besides having helped Dodd and Frank screw us further, just because he has an 'R' after his name should NOT be reason to let him be unopposed; that kind of thinking helped get us in this mess.
"No, we didn't actually call all you crackers racist, you just don't understand what we say(you bigots)."
The resolution, scheduled for a vote as early as Tuesday by delegates attending the annual NAACP convention in Kansas City, calls upon “all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era.”
Jealous, you're a damned liar as well as a bigot. Screw you.
"We LOVE diversity in our students. As long as it's the correct kind of diversity."
But what Espenshade and Radford found in regard to what they call "career-oriented activities" was truly shocking even to this hardened veteran of the campus ideological and cultural wars. Participation in such Red State activities as high school ROTC, 4-H clubs, or the Future Farmers of America was found to reduce very substantially a student's chances of gaining admission to the competitive private colleges in the NSCE database on an all-other-things-considered basis. The admissions disadvantage was greatest for those in leadership positions in these activities or those winning honors and awards. "Being an officer or winning awards" for such career-oriented activities as junior ROTC, 4-H, or Future Farmers of America, say Espenshade and Radford, "has a significantly negative association with admission outcomes at highly selective institutions." Excelling in these activities "is associated with 60 or 65 percent lower odds of admission."
Question is not "Would Putin have a problem doing this?", because that's not in doubt; question is "Is there anything to this?"
Another hot day in store, so I'm going to try to get the outside stuff done before the worst builds up. Plus there's only so much of this crap I can write about at one time.
