and her calls for violence and her professed shock when she's called on them, and some background on the damage she and her husband have caused in the past. I like that two of the comments are
A: "Beck should be a gentleman and not be rude", and
B: "BECK is full of vitriol and is at fault for stirring things up." Never mind his repeated calls to avoid violence, NOT to strike back when attacked and so on; apparently actually telling people what Piven says and calls for is the problem. In other words, from both comments, "You people should shut up and not cause problems!" Which would work out real well for people like Piven, huh?
EUnuchs, indeed, many of them.
Talks ended angrily when Italy accused Lady Ashton, the EU's foreign minister, of "excessive" political correctness because she refused to name any specific religious group as a victim of attacks.
Franco Frattini, the Italian foreign minister, demanded an EU response on the persecution of Christians after a New Year suicide bombing at a Coptic church in northern Egypt in which 23 people were killed.
The Egyptian bombing followed attacks in Baghdad and fears, expressed by the Vatican, of persecution leading to a Christian exodus from the Middle East.
Mr Frattini, backed by France, said it pointless to issue statements defending religious tolerance without any references to the specific minority, Christians, that was under attack.
I guess if you're not muslim you're not a 'proper' victim.
Saw this the other day:
According to our tipster, Jarrett was seated at the head table along with several other big-name politicians and a handful of high-ranking military officials. As an officer sporting several stars walked past Jarrett, she signaled for his attention and said, “I’d like another glass of wine.”
Garçon!
White House economic adviser Austan Goolsbee, who was seated next to Jarret, began “cracking up nervously,” our tipster said, but no one pointed out to Jarrett that the man sporting a chestful of medals was not her waiter.
The woman cannot possibly be stupid enough to not be able to tell the difference between a waiter and someone in dress uniform; personally- considering the attitude of this administration toward the military- I have no doubt she did it deliberately. Miserable bitch.
So some states are taking action on the privacy front to stop doctors from asking about guns; sounds good to me. Especially when they say this
"We're not against guns, per se. What we're concerned about is proper storage and handling of firearms," said Louis St. Petery, MD, executive vice president of the Florida chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
The Florida AAP chapter and the Florida Medical Assn. oppose the bill. "As written, the bill is absolutely unacceptable, and we will fight it," said FMA general counsel Jeff Scott.
and then you find out this:
Hammer also took issue with an AAP policy that says the most effective way to prevent firearm-related injury to children is to keep guns out of homes and communities. The policy also says, "We believe that handguns, deadly air guns and assault weapons should be banned."
"That's politics," Hammer said. "They are pushing their anti-gun politics on families who own firearms."
Yes, they are. And need to be told to piss off.
Ok, at the top of Drudge right now:
REPORT: US, EU discussing need for international military intervention to remove Mubarak... Developing...
gee, what happened to all that 'one country should not force another' stuff from The Lightworker? And I wonder just what genius(or collection thereof) thinks this is a good idea?
It's now up to a balmy 5F outside, so I'm going to see if I can clear more of the driveway. And put out some birdseed.

"What we're concerned about is proper storage and handling of firearms"?? i personally am sick and tired of stupid people treating me like I am as stupid as they are acting. what the hell is "proper storage"? when I was a kid- no smarter than any other kid, I knew where the key to the cabinet was, where the ammunition was which ammunition fit which firearm. where to buy drugs- who sold drugs- and I knew that the cops knew and the judges knew nad when i grew up and became and adult, we became the adults who were trying to figure it out....
