Problem is, the sentence is a joke.
At least it's a start.
The second thing I’d like to highlight is that it took four (or five; I’ve read differing accounts) full days after
Dr. Salia first showed ebola symptoms for his blood test to become
positive for the disease. By that time he was extremely sick indeed. The
loss of those days of possible treatment here may have made a big
difference.
It also means he could've been spreading it for days after clearing the first test. Doesn't give confidence in the 'check people at the airport' crap, does it?

I don't consider that mush punishment.....10 days in jail, probably ma ruralmsmall jail of his choice. The disbarment etc. Is probably not a big deal as he is likely of retirement age so losing a job he wasn't going to keep long is no punishment.
Agreed. Should've been years in jail for what he did. And you KNOW the bastard probably did it to others, too.
I'm in favor of 'a sentence equal to that given to the victim of your actions'.
And a whipping in the town square, but that's just me.
