Ok, is Sen. Feinstein actually stupid enough to let this slip out,

or was she actively trying to screw the whole operation?
A senior U.S. lawmaker said Thursday that unmanned CIA Predator aircraft operating in Pakistan are flown from an airbase inside that country, a revelation likely to embarrass the Pakistani government and complicate its counterterrorism collaboration with the United States.

The disclosure by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, marked the first time a U.S. official had publicly commented on where the Predator aircraft patrolling Pakistan take off and land.
At a hearing, Feinstein expressed surprise at Pakistani opposition to the ongoing campaign of Predator-launched CIA missile strikes against Al Qaeda targets along Pakistan’s northwest border.

“As I understand it, these are flown out of a Pakistani base,” she said of the planes
.

We KNOW she's been willing to use her position to steer God-only-knows how much money into her family business; question is, is she so "Let's lose the war NOW!" that she'd deliberately let this out? Or so damn unthinking as to let it slip?

And these dirtbags- or effing morons, whichever- are voting now to screw the economy into the ground and destroy freedom in this country. While they're not trying to get our troops killed.

Speaking of which, take note of this:
Little more than a year after U.S. spy agencies concluded that Iran had halted work on a nuclear weapon, the Obama administration has made it clear that it believes there is no question that Tehran is seeking the bomb.

In his news conference this week, President Obama went so far as to describe Iran's "development of a nuclear weapon" before correcting himself to refer to its "pursuit" of weapons capability.

Obama's nominee to serve as CIA director, Leon E. Panetta, left little doubt about his view last week when he testified on Capitol Hill. "From all the information I've seen," Panetta said, "I think there is no question that they are seeking that capability."

The language reflects the extent to which senior U.S. officials now discount a National Intelligence Estimate issued in November 2007 that was instrumental in derailing U.S. and European efforts to pressure Iran to shut down its nuclear program
.

One of the disgraces of the past few years was people in the CIA deliberately acting against the interests of this country for political reasons. And this is some of the followup. Every one of the sons-of-bitches should be charged with treason and punished appropriately. And no, I do not use 'treason' lightly; deliberately acting in ways that damage this country and expose us to greater danger for their personal motives counts.
