About that lion-country walking stick,

The blade is about 6", the whole thing was forged from a piece of 5160 coil spring stock. You can't see, but there's a hole drilled through and a brass pin through to lock things together.

Used to have a bigger one(longer and wider, more triangular in shape) but it went to a new home. It was a lot more refined looking, more polished, this one I left with a dark finish.

WOAH! Now that is one IMPRESSIVE stick. I'm thinking that it could do quite a bit of tearing...I guess it would depend on how you use it, though.

Well, to be perfectly honest...this wasn't the stick I was expecting to see. But, I had a 50 50 chance as to which one you would feature.

Damn.

Pistolero, your woman is giving me trouble: do something, if you please!

Lady, this is a PG- well, R-rated at worst, blog. Private showings are available, but not for women who'll get me shot. Or something.

Firehand,

How much do one of those spearheads run?

Okay....say no more...I'll be a good girl. I haven't had much practice, but I'll give it my best shot.

As far as the private showings, when's the show? CRAP!! See...I couldn't even be good for 5 seconds.

Okay...from this second on...I'll be good. Oh, wait...I'm always damn good. I love it when....SHEEESH!! Okay, maybe this is going to be harder than I thought...(oh I so hope it is harder than I thought...lololol)

I'll be good in 5,4,3,2,

I'll do somethin', all righty...go get some popcorn and Coke, because this is just too much fun to watch! Or better yet, some cheddar and sour cream Ruffles. I'll save some for you, Baby Girl! LOLOLOL...

Stephen, back in my 'production' days they went for $35-50, depending on size & finish. Assuming I can get time & joints to work together, going to try to hammer a couple more out in the near future.

Ruffles. With sour cream, yet. And now my true purpose in life has been revealed: entertainment and an excuse for junk food.
And Fire, I do not provide private showings to married women, women who are spoken for or for those who are trying to get me perforated. So there.

Firehand....I'm betting my imagination is good enough. ;)

Pistolero, you know my favorite chip...I will share some with you.

As far as the spearhead thing...truly, that could handle a big cat, for sure. But what if that mountain lion were to jump on your back, latch onto your neck from behind? You might want to carry a big knife at your side, that way, if it happens, you can stab the big cat in the gut. (I do not advocate animal abuse and torture...but to save one's life, by all means, do what you can to come out of it alive)
