Yes, the knee's improving

Slowly, but improving.  Not the most fun, but it's bending more normally and not requiring the various sound effects when it does.  Still doesn't like being under much load, though.

Ok. Yesterday, after three days of 'leaks' saying Garland had nothing to do with it,

the raid was all the FBI and Wray, now Garland comes out and says "I was in charge, I approved it, and stop saying bad things about DoJ personnel!"

Very believable.

Could be wrong, but I think that if they'd found, well, ANYTHING of an actual hard criminal nature, they'd have been getting that out as fast as could to take some of the heat off.  That it took three days for the head of DoJ to admit he was in charge of it and give this 'explanation'...  Does not look good for that.

This is truly stupid-level racial bullcrap and mask idiocy

One such recent example came from a SUNY New Paltz Professor Jessica Nydia Pabón-Colón who is described on LinkedIn as an “interdisciplinary Latina feminist performance studies scholar.”

Pabón announced on Twitter that she will be enforcing mask mandates in her classroom, even though the school she teaches at no longer requires them, and is even “building mask wearing” into her syllabus:

ANYTHING they don't like is racist.  And/or 'white supremacist'.  Just because.

Amazing what they'll come up with to try to control other people, isn't it?

Today's plans have been put on hold

I did something yesterday, and the knee- specifically that one muscle that goes along the outside- is sore as hell.  And doesn't want me to do things.  So that yard stuff won't be today.

I don't know what I did, but I did it good.

And unless there's something serious and flatly undeniably criminal to be used against Trump, they may actually be insane.
If New York Times reporting is right — and they never err on the side of being soft on Trump — then this raid was over documents the National Archives thinks Trump should not have, or perhaps classified documents in his possession. That is not something the FBI raids major political candidates over — See, In Re Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I flipped back and forth between CNN and MSNBC. At least when I watched, they were not engaging in the expected celebrations. There was a palpable dread that this could backfire against the Democrats. Bigly.

First part of the next test

is on a new Federal subsonic .22 ammo

It's listed as 45 grains, copper-plated round nose with a velocity of 970 fps.  This was using an AR pattern .22 rifle.  And I have to say this test was not real good.  It functioned with no problems of any kind, but at 30 yards accuracy was not real good.  At 30 yards this was the best I got with ten rounds.

A few groups were larger, the others(5 each) about like this.  It being quite possible I wasn't having a good day, I tried two other subsonics, five each, Eley Sport on the '4',

and CCI subsonic segmented hollowpoint on the '5'

So I can't blame it on me.  There is the possibility that this rifle and ammo don't agree with each other, so I'm going to try it again with another rifle and see how that goes.  

And a pistol, need to try that too.

Of course they can.  And oh yes, there's more.

If she's got so little to do dealing with actual crime that she's got time to play with her favorite "I want to make everyone better, and punish them if they aren't" game, or is happy to ignore the real stuff to do this, she needs to be gone.
