Could be wrong, but I think that if they'd found, well, ANYTHING of an actual hard criminal nature, they'd have been getting that out as fast as could to take some of the heat off. That it took three days for the head of DoJ to admit he was in charge of it and give this 'explanation'... Does not look good for that.
