More of "It's different when we do it!" from the Washington Post & Lorenz
In response to the outcry over the article, Washington Post managing editor Cameron Barr issued a statement. He claimed, “[Libs of TikTok’s] identity had become public knowledge on social media. We did not publish or link to any details about her personal life”
Which is bullshit because
The WaPo article by Taylor Lorenz originally linked to the real estate license for the person behind the Libs of TikTok account— the link listed the person’s name, real estate license number, possible physical address, etc. WaPo only removed the link after being called out on it.

Etc. ad Bullshit

This should prove another joyous set of hearings
The embattled Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives was rocked again this week when an insider favored for the bureau's top job was abruptly demoted after being passed over a second time by President Joe Biden.
Reports said that acting Director Marvin Richardson, the highest-ranking black man at the agency who had 30 years of experience with ATF, announced Monday that he was being shoved aside by the White House. Biden last week chose a white lawyer to head the sprawling law enforcement agency after his first pick, another white male, bowed out under pressure.
Considering Biden's pandering on People of Colour whenever possible, why? I suspect this:
Richardson had a base of support in the agency for the top job because of his law enforcement experience, years as a manager of the 5,000-employee agency, and balanced relationships with the gun industry.
A balanced relationship isn't what Biden wants, he wants someone who's willing to twist and break the law and regulations.
Wonder if the Usual Suspects will scream at Biden for passing over the black guy, or stay quiet because most of them want the political hack just as much as Biden?

Be it noted that using a walker has hazards
Generally more stable than a cane, but if it gets tilted just a little to one side or the other, you may be in trouble. Also, when moving it sideways keep your weight as centered as possible for the same reason.
And it's easy to start moving faster than you should, which could cause you to overbalance to the front.
No, I haven't fallen over, but a couple of times I was about on the edge.
No, I haven't fallen over, but a couple of times I was about on the edge.
One more thing: if the surface you're on is tilted, watch out because that's the start of a bad situation of you aren't careful.
Borrowed from Joe Huffman, a Quote of the Day
This is the same Joe Biden, after all, who orchestrated a catastrophically mismanaged surrender of Afghanistan to ragtag nomads with small arms. Moreover, one would think that a man who came of political age during the Vietnam War would possess a better working understanding of the value of small arms in fighting off a far superior military. Then there’s the American Revolution itself, in which patriots with small arms defeated the world’s most powerful military.
But here’s the most bizarre aspect of all.
The White House concedes that Biden personally interrupted delivery of 28 Polish MiG-29 fighter jets repeatedly requested by Ukraine in its desperate fight for survival. According to his logic, supplying Ukrainians with deadly small arms, antitank weaponry and other deadly devices are far more effective against the Russian military than advanced fighter aircraft. As reported by Politico, the Biden Administration determined that, “the warplanes wouldn’t materially improve Ukraine’s chances.”

Professional Journalists....
There is a Washington Post clown named Taylor Lorenz. She's been bitching and whining about having PTSD because of all the mean things said to/about her online.
What makes this funny as hell? She's made something of a career of using her position to crap on people guilty of wrongthink, including doxxing them. But it's different when she does it.
Current bullshit: This bitch used the bloody Post to put out the personal information of the lady who runs 'Libs of TikTok'. And said bastion of Professional Journalism published it. Until the screaming started:

These people are some of the most vile hypocrites you'll ever see.

The knee is progressing
I've got bruising showing up all around the thigh along with the soreness easing some; turns out that was from the tourniquet used to control blood flow during the surgery. The staples are out, and official PT starts in a couple of days.
Yes, I'm carrying the phone with me everywhere, as the idea of tripping/losing balance and being on the floor without a way to call for help scares me. Especially considering my past gracefulness on occasion. So very careful it is. So still walker or cane-going with mostly cane now- for any real distance.

Now I've got the morning abuse to do, followed by icing and leg up, followed by an adventurous trip to the grocery store. Assuming I survive the rigors, more later.
Note: I'm very aware of how advanced this stuff has become. Two weeks after and I'm walking around with a cane instead of the 'couple of weeks in bed followed by' that it was not that long ago. I'm still going to bitch about some things.

The morning exercises are done,
and I'm now supposed to put an ice pack on for a while, which will be done. The knee is improving, and the swelling is down a bit, so more walking is on the menu. Which, as long as I don't get graceful and wind up on my face or ass, is wonderful.
About the swelling: I suspect this is caused by the body flushing out wastes and whatever from the swelling and bruising, I'm peeing like the proverbial racehorse at night. For about the first week- week and three it was pretty dark all the time, but is lightening now(wonderful detail, right?). Or I'm just drinking enough that I'm having to go more than usual, but I suspect the first theory. In any case, it almost- almost- makes me miss the catheter that was in from after the surgery till just before I left.
Ah well. I must get to the icing. And, despite the previous subject matter, a Happy Easter to you all.

While a bunch of people whose profession- if it actually cares about facts and truth- depends on uncensored information
getting around, has been screaming because Musk trying to buy Twatter would endanger their preferred censorship, ran across this on many of those same supposed defenders of free speech who've spent two years trying to hide and ignore the Biden laptop story, and now are trying to downplay it. Hard as they can. The motto at the Washington Post ought to be 'Truth Dies In The Darkness We Provide'.
These bastards aren't ashamed, because they have no shame. Except when they can't sufficiently serve their leftist/Democrat masters, THEN they're seriously upset.
And they still demand we trust them.

One of my current "Screw you, then" things is 'You can check in early for your appointment
by going to this website!', etc. For various reasons, including the current "Your verification failed"; since the number came from them, and I damn well know the DOB is correct, they've got a system problem or got my date of birth wrong.
Bleep, I'm sick of this crap.
