This. Is. CNN.
In a time when violent anti-Semitism is on the rise, CNN has refused an interview with Vice President Mike Pence in Jerusalem to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz — because the network is “all impeachment, all of the time,” according to sources.
...
A CNN source said: “Wolf really wanted to do the Pence interview personally. He cares deeply because of his family background, which is why Wolf was offered it by the White House. But Zucker stepped in and said Wolf isn’t going anywhere because the network will be ‘all impeachment, all of the time’ next week. CNN’s anti-Trump bias is so intense, they can’t even broadcast a sympathetic interview for Holocaust remembrance.” Dozens of world leaders are expected at the forum, including Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron.

In Virginia, it's a start
Even in the face of that kind of popular discontent, four measures
moved forward in the state’s Senate Judiciary Committee, thanks to a
Democratic majority, though some were in slightly weakened form, The
Free Beacon reported.
But one bill, known as SB 16, a controversial measure that would have “effectively” allowed authorities to confiscate weapons that violate it, was withdrawn entirely, The Free Beacon reported.

The domestic terrorism a lot of the left doesn't like to talk about,
and some make excuses for. Because the terrorists don't fit the Preferred Narrative™.
The U.S. attorney in New Jersey and the head of the local FBI said Monday that the bomb found in the van of alleged domestic terrorists Francine Graham and David Anderson could have killed or maimed people up to five football fields away.
They also said there was enough material in the van to make a second bomb.
They attempted mass murder, were planning further attacks, yet a bunch of idiots, including NAACP officials, made excuses for them and blamed the Jews for it.
Something flat horrible and huge is going to happen, and these idiots won't blame the people responsible, they'll blame White Supremacy and Jews.

Civil rights win in Florida,
Florida Carry, Inc. has emerged victorious in their lawsuit against Broward County and County Administrator Bertha Henry in
which they sought a permanent injunction to protect the rights of law
abiding gun owners from the county's multiple illegal ordinances that
burden nearly all aspects of firearms ownership, use, transfer, and
possession.
"Broward County has ignored repeated attempts since 2011 by Florida Carry to gain its compliance with state law and left us with no choice but to file this case," said Florida Carry Executive Director Sean Caranna. "Let this case serve as proof that when local officials refuse to stop breaking the law in order to deny the rights of Floridians, Florida Carry will act to demand that people's rights be protected."

Meanwhile, in the place where Great Britain used to be,
An Asian grooming gang was free to roam the streets and abuse young girls because police officers were told to “find other ethnicities” to investigate, a detective has claimed.
At least 57 young girls are thought to have been exploited by a paedophile network of around 100 suspected perpetrators based in south Manchester in the 2000s. The gang, mainly comprised of Asian men, hooked their victims on drugs, groomed, and sexually abused them. One girl, aged 15, died after being injected with heroin by a 50-year-old man.
Following a two-year inquiry, commissioned by Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham, into the historic failings of police and social workers, a report was published today which concluded that vulnerable girls in care were groomed and abused in "plain sight".
This is what happens when "PC At Any Cost" is the working mindset of your government.

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court has triggered a wave of condemnations over the selection of David Kris, to oversee reforms of the FBI FISA process. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) presiding Judge James Boasberg, left, appointed Kris, a lawyer that the Washington Post describes as “highly controversial.
...
...The more serious allegations however is that Kris was one of the most public advocates for rejecting allegations of FBI abuse. In a city where you can throw a stick and hit ten lawyers, FISC went to someone who insisted that allegations of abuse were nonsense and should be rejected. If the court was seeking to assure the public, it has added a new controversy for those who see a “deep state” response to reforms.
He's a lousy choice to try to fix the mess, but he's a great choice to pretend to do so.
I repeat: and these clowns expect us to trust them? About anything?

"But- Globular Climate Change! Dead bears!"
Nazzo fast, Guido.
This aerial shot of six fat polar bears lolling around on a sand beach on the coast of the Southern Beaufort Sea, Alaska, was taken by NOAA employees in July 2019. It exemplifies the reality that bears in this subpopulation are currently abundant and healthy, negating the suggestion that numbers have continued to drop since 2006 because bears are starving.
The above picture of polar bear health is not an exception but the rule for all 31 bears recorded onshore last July, as the photos below from other locations testify. Those who would blame this abundance of bears on lack of sea ice in 2019 should note that ice retreated as early and as extensively in 2017 yet only 3 bears were spotted onshore. Results of a recent (2017-2018) population survey, which have not yet been made public, will of course not reflect conditions seen in 2019.
And, last I saw, the overall population is doing quite well.
On the "Without ice they'll STARVE!" that's been pushed(as if all the ice were gone forever), I have to wonder: Let's say the climate went through the equivalent of the Medieval Warm Period for a couple of centuries. The polar bears survived it before, do these people actually think they couldn't survive it again?

Some penetration tests on .45acp, 9mm, 12 gauge,
.223 and .300 Blackout. A lot of "We used THIS gun with THESE features" and ads, but some interesting results.
Well, this is bullshit
Today, we became aware that on or about January 9, 2020, a letter sent out by the Pennsylvania State Police (“PSP”) to Federal Firearms Licensees (“FFLs”) that pursuant to what it refers to as “the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s binding opinion”, the PSP has promulgated an “Application for Purchase (Partially-Manufactured Frame or Receiver for a Pistol or Rifle)” form, SP 4-121, which must be completed in addition to “a PICS background check and unique approval number [being] completed and received in order to facilitate a lawful sale/transfer of a PMFR [(“Partially Manufactured Frame or Receiver”)] under Pennsylvania law.”
...
But, what are PMFRs? Neither the letter nor the form define them in any way and all licensees are left to guess whether a non-object firearm constitutes a firearm under this undefined term. Thus, the PSP wants dealers to “guess” at what constitute PMFRs and if you get it wrong, don’t worry, you’re only looking at felony offenses…
Politicians who say "We won't tell you exactly what this means, but you have to obey it, and if you guess wrong you go to jail" need to become lamppost decorations.

Scene from the range
"I want to rent a Glock."
"Ok, which one?"
That look, followed by "How many are there?"
This took a minute to clear up.

How you know it's past time to start decorating
trees with politicians and bureaucrats:
Starting January 8, 2020, in certain situations residents will have to register their wood stoves with the state of Alaska. For those who already have a wood stove, it is voluntary.
Right up until the make it mandatory.

The snow, as previously mentioned, didn't show,
but the cold definitely did. If you're indoors and warm, here's some material to take your mind off the temperature
'The Director regrets the omissions and errors his Holy Special Agents committed
and will see that training is done to prevent it happening again.'
Translation: "I'm really sorry a bunch of our agents and lawyers were caught lying under oath and faking evidence, and I'll see a training class is done to prevent it in the future. But I have NO intention of further punitive action(at least that you'll ever hear of) against the Special Agents who committed these crimes.
Criminal charges? Against FBI agents? Are you serious?"
Apparently the idea that "Unless you ACTUALLY CLEAN THIS SHIT UP, including firings and prosecutions, nobody will ever trust your Very Special Agents ever again" just does not get through to these clowns.

Friend, who hates Trump, had a link on Fecesbook
to a piece in NYMag titled
What Will Happen to The Trump Toadies?
Look to Nixon’s defenders, and the Vichy collaborators, for clues.*
I did a bit of skimming, and it's about what you'd expect: "Anyone who works for/supports Trump is either evil and connected with Putin, or stupid! But the Arc of History always bends toward Justice, and will deal with them!"
I'll give you one bit from the start:
Donald Trump proves daily that there is no longer any penalty for doing wrong as long as you deny everything, never say you’re sorry, and have co-conspirators stashed in powerful places to put the fix in.
Amazing, isn't it? And that level of projection is probably harmful to the brain. I do wonder how they'd react to mention of lying EffingBI/CIA/DoJ hacks caught with their hand in the cookie jar. And Democrats who cannot find any wrong in anything Hillary did.
First, it's amazing how much people who claim that 'Othering' people is Bad, work so hard at it when its someone they don't like.
Second, this is how they see anyone who doesn't mouth the right words and vote the right way: you're either evil or stupid, and should be ruled by the Correct-Thinking betters.
Michael Z Williamson once said that 'The only thing more stupid than a Trump lover is a Trump hater.' Seems to be on to something there.
*No, I'm not giving these asshats clicks, if you want to read it it'll be easy to find

'Possible 1-3 inches of snow'
Which is actually a few stray flakes drifting around.
This is after the threats of 'Scattered showers all day, some may be severe!'
(grumbles of future "Why do we listen to these people?")

Really tells you all you need to know, doesn't it?
No. I don't want to live in either the old Soviet Union or the blocks of Judge Dredd's world, you scrofulous idiot.
