In many cases, the police were complicit in these rapes. I do not say that lightly.
The lack of any desire to investigate these men is criminal. It happened again and again and again.
And yes. It’s mainly because the rapists were Muslims.
Parents pleaded and begged. The police all too often did nothing. Staggeringly, they even suggested the parents work with the rapists, as we heard today. This went on for years, years and years and years. We will be releasing further evidence on this over the coming days.
Yes, there's more. The question is: you get more, Mr. Lowe, what will you actually do about it?
