I had a bunch of words worked up about the mess yesterday,

but I have no problem borrowing from someone who says it well in a piece over on Fecesbook:
1. If you supported the BLM riots, called them mostly peaceful protests, posted that quote from MLK Jr to pseudo-justify riots, and said that destruction of property and trespassing wasn't violence while simultaneously turning a blind eye to the multiple murder victims that resulted from said riots, but are now calling the storming of the Capitol building a riot and domestic terrorism and are blathering about how scary and terrible it is... ...you're a fucking hypocrite and partisan hack.

2. If you denounced all the BLM riots but support the storming of the Capitol building, you're probably still a partisan hack, but there's a consistent line of logic here. You learned it from watching the Left and the ineptitude of the court system. You saw politicians and celebrities raising money to post bail for violent rioters. You saw AGs and DAs refuse to press charges against rioters. You saw police departments arresting and charging counterprotestors and people defending themselves and their homes from these rioters while the rioters got away scot-free. You saw the BLM riots celebrated, and defended, and encouraged, and saw the Supreme Court abdicate its responsibility purely to avoid further riots.

...So you basically picked up on the lesson that the only way to get anything done is to riot, and even then, you're not burning shit down, killing people, or targeting bystanders and civilians, but specific federal buildings. Not what I would do, but I can't call you a hypocrite over it. You're just adapting to the environment you're surrounded by.

3. If you denounced both, I don't really have a problem with you, and I'm mainly in agreement with you, BUT I should warn you, you're not gonna have a fun time for the next couple of years, at least. The problem isn't going away and your solutions won't work. They're what got us here in the first place, so you too are going to have to adapt. 4. If you supported both, you're a fucking retard.

What now?  Messy.  Bunch of leftists are calling for anyone guilty of badthink- which includes not condemning ALL the demonstrators for what a few did- to be reeducated, put in camps, all the other crap they've been calling for for years.

Bunch of people on the right are declaring "About damned time!"  Which I understand, but I don't like what happened.  Of course, worrying about it being used by the left doesn't really matter, because if this hadn't happened they'd have pushed people into something else.

After watching rioters being excused over and over by the same asshats now calling for mass arrests, or just shooting anyone who supported Trump, or dared to actually march in DC, Oh yeah, I understand it.  It's truly amazing how many on the left practically crap their pants in outrage when you point this out("It's DIFFERENT when WE do it!", etc.)

Best things I can see right now is pushing your state/county government, in states not blue, to negate some of the bullshit that'll come out of DC: 1st Amendment/2nd Amendment sanctuaries and such.  Which would help mute things down some, give time to work on stuff.

Right now, I don't know whether I wish I had a crystal ball or not.

I'm in another category. I did condemn BLM, but no longer do so. They established new rules over my own and many others' warnings, and now they are reaping the whirlwind. You can set whatever rules you want, but the People will always win, once the People figure out the rules. Don't write a rulebook you don't want to live by.

You follow the constitution because you will not always be in power, and it protects you when you are out of power. You hold fair elections, because even if you lose this one, another one gets held and you can win the next time.

When you don't follow the constitution and you rub farce elections in people's faces, first they run you out of Our Public Buildings, and when that doesn't work they shoot you in the face.

Once enough people get shot in the face, then the Constitution and fair elections look a lot more preferable. Best of all would have been to have never left them.

Yeah. The Tea Party was polite and by-the-rules, and were crapped on by everyone including the Stupid Party they were part of.

That got worse and worse, with more condescension and insult from everyone including the 'leadership' of the SP.

There may well have been antifa troublemakers involved in the mess the other day; doesn't change that lots of people are REALLY pissed, and real close to that edge.

As Lawdog put it "I used to tell people that I wasn't happy to be living during the "Events Leading Up To" chapter of the history books. (Again.)
Well, folks, I suspect we may have moved on to the chapter that's going to have a lot of maps, arrows, and analysis."

No worries- that Pesky Constitution has been rejected by congress, the senate, and no less than the Supreme court*. And by refusing to correct a STOLEN FEDERAL ELECTION, the Supreme court* has nullified every document since the Declaration of Independence. They have restored us to the time in 1775 when we did not have the power to elect our own leaders and representatives. They are not appointed above us. Therefore, we are no longer bound by ANY federal laws, regulations, court orders, injunctions, and decrees. By the way, we are not coincidentally at war with our national government as we have withdrawn our consent to be governed by leaders that we have not voted for. And the democrats, the RINOs, the bureaucrats, and the deep state may have defeated Trump, but they have not defeated and will not defeat We the People. They are in for the fight of their lives. And deaths.

"The people will always win, once they figure out the rules". Which is why the left and their media whores are constantly changing the rules.

Nobody can read the future but it's a sure bet that our future isn't a peaceful one.
Violence is the ultimate expression of political power. And that is what will be required to take power away from the commies who have seized it. We aren't voting our way off the boxcars. And the lefts CCP overlords are lusting mightily for America's land and resources. That requires that they exterminate us. And they won't be shy about it. Everything that has happened politically since the Clinton Crime Cabal SOLD American defense secrets to the CCP has involved China and it's long term plans for our country..... MINUS US.

During the 'invasion' pf the capitol on January 6th, Special Forces entered the building disguised as Antifa types and seized the laptop of one Nancy Pelosi, which is full of evidence of the coup. This is why the democrats and RINOs are calling for Donald Trump to be removed from office BEFORE January 20th. Confirmed by General McInerney in this video.

While all kinds of things are possible, I have real doubts about this. Including a retired general being informed of such.

@Firehand- Said "retired" General was speaking INSIDE the White House. It seems he
DOES have a job of some authority. He dropped a few other bombshells in the video as well. Believe what you like.

I haven't had time to watch the video, it'll have to be later.

I don't know enough about this to have an opinion yet. And seems like SpecOps types would have better ways to get hold of something like that(or, it could be argued, "If there's a big mess that'll be a great chance to get it").

If they did get something with actual evidence that could be legally used, or for that matter dumped out in the open for everyone to see... oh, that'd get interesting.

I doubt the special forces laptop story, but I will concede that it isn't the snagging that is difficult, it's coming up with an excuse for why the laptop got snagged. The Jan 6 event covered that perfectly.
