ANYONE who's surprised by this is a fool.
And doubts about this possibly being man-modified just got damped a bit more. Even for the PRC, this level of 'don't let the outsiders know anything' is stupid, unless they've got things they want to hide(aside from the usual"Do not let the gwailou know anything" attitude).
