Even as the U.S. military denies reports that American troops were told
to ignore Afghan child abusers, an 11-year Green Beret who was ordered discharged after he confronted an alleged rapist was informed Tuesday
that the Army has denied his appeal.
"We have never done that(but if you do interfere with an Afghan child molester, your career is over)!"
I am so damned glad son is out from under the control of these assholes.

A Special Forces career NCO is being sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. In a just world he would have been decorated.
The upper echelons of our military is populated with career bureaucrats for whom the only thing that matters is the next promotion. In the just world I've alluded to above, they'd all be tried for dereliction.
Except he's not out from under their control. He swore an oath, remember? Of course, (if I've got it right) that oath DOES have that handy phrase "and domestic" in it... Hmm...
