In hindsight, Mark said, Mitt Romney lined up with everything he believes in: “But what he was proposing was drowned out by the image Obama gave of him being a rich guy out of touch and tone-deaf to the needs of the country.
“Turns out Obama was that guy, not Romney,” he said, jumping off the back of the truck and heading back onto the farm field with his crew.
B: Gee, think what might've happened if the Stupid Party hadn't had a candidate who tended to make people think 'Obama Lite'...

I think it was some historical commie bastid that said something to the effect that the way to power in a nation is through its underclass.
And, once they have that power, it is the underclass that takes the biggest hit - just as they are now with Obama. It serves them right...but the middle class gets it up the chute too...
Romney was that guy, too. He wasn't _also_ a radical leftist tool, so he probably wouldn't have been as big a disaster as Obama, but there was nothing there for conservatives to love.
Which is why he lost.
And why I start screaming and beating on things when I see crap like "Will Romney save the Republicans?" now.
