If the facts are as presented, at the LEAST these two cops
need time on the ground without pay and some classes on "That badge does NOT make you a damned demi-god who can crap on people just because he feels like it."
The upside? At least these morons didn't shoot the dogs.

Did you watch the raw video?
There's no sound, but from the way it looked, the cops were perfectly fine with him until he started to take their pictures (or possibly video them) with his cell phone. That's when they immediately tried to arrest him.
He did resist arrest, but as far as I know, it's not illegal to resist an unlawful arrest so he was within his rights to resist...unless there's a law in Colorado making it illegal to photograph or record cops on a public street...very doubtful.
I'd say he's got an iron-clad civil suit...but you know that the cops will close ranks and protect the bad ones in this case from any personal repercussions other than, possibly, a slap on the wrist.
So the taxpayers will pay for the over-reaching of the cops...as usual, and the cops will be shielded from the consequences of their actions...as usual.
Insty has mentioned we need to end the sovereign immunity bullcrap for cops and prosecutors; if some of these bastards had to actually face criminal AND civil charges on their own, it'd probably do wonders for stopping things like this.

And nothing changes under the sun.
Yeah, I watched it; it really pissed me off.
